Will you ever forget ? . . . .Tlrat first day at Centenary_we were a litile be_ wildered by the whole affair, but our ,,big sisters,, were soon there to watch over us_then all the wonder_ ful parties and picnics began-and will we ever forget that teachers vs. students baseball game in the Grove the girls being dumped in the pond ? How -and we forget Freshman Week_tra.npirrg aroundcould the hockey field at seven in the morning-in those horrible outfits-what a bunch of ugly du-klings_then came Rat Court- that,s all brother ! And remember the Sen_ ior-dance-men, did you say?_where?_we certainly had our troubles with blind dates. Remember the nighi before Christmas vacation-caroling, those supe" i"_ ority parties-and food in every room_what, no peanut butter ?-sleep, don,t be silly, we didn,t *urri to miss a thing-especially when Hubbell,s p. j.,* *"". hung up in the lounge.

After vacation always came exams_such trials and tribulations we went through. Remember that hot spell in March-when half of the school was on the hockey field toasting themselves Diltsy was really the "Brown Skin Gal". Then -and came the last days of school-with Singing on the Steps, Class Day, the President's Ball-and last of all, Commencement-with those tearful farewells to our wonderful friends, the Seniors. September and school again-back with the gangand now we were the high and almighty seniors. Will we ever forget the surprise when we first saw the Grill and the new rooms for the frosh-such drastic changes. Then the Senior Dance, "The Holly Hop"-and such a gay affair-with men actually in tux's and tails-remember gals, the war was over ! And all those long distance calls frorn the coast- ! What a struggle we had for the Honor System-and would it work? The neat times all of us had with the frosh-such a super bunch of kids. That wonderful Anderson family-inviting girls up to their cottage over the week ends-and those divine birthday parties in their new house. Our "Winter Carnival"-with the Stevens Glee Club-sleigh riding, skating-and then our big dance with the crowning of the Snow Queen-it was then we realized "we were the nicest girls we knew!" Gradtration quickly rolled around and we found ourselves wishing we could stay-it was all so wonderful-two memorable years at Centenary which we shall never forget.

]t" Stulu,t eo*,t The Student Government embraces both the Council and the StuCourt. The aim of the organization is to form a more effective student government based on democratic principles and thus to enrich each student's college experience by giving her an opportunity to display initiative and to participate in college activities; to promote in her a sense of responsibility and to make every student feel that she is doing something constructive for her college. dent

The Student Government is an all-school organization, led by fifteen officers and representatives; composed of the nine officers of the Student Council and the six officers of the Student Court. Dean Hight is advisor to the Student Government.

We feel that this year, as in the past, Student Government has

been successful and effective in its function. We are sure that this ideal form of student participation will continue to uphold the democratic ideal of Centenary.

The Chorus at Centenary this year boasts of more members than ever before. There are two separate groups-the Freshman Chorus, and the Senior Chorus. The two groups join forces occasionally, once for the Stevens joint concert, and for other special occasions. The Centenary Singers is composed of a select group of voices chosen from both groups. "Don't open that door" is a familiar phrase for that mysterious room next to the GriI where pictures are developed. Ou;,u ehl Picnics and hayrides-mid winter sleigh rides and, never a dull moment. Yes, it's the outing club-as popular here at c. J. c. as ever. Even before snow blessed the New Jersey countryside, cries of "Buck Hill, here we come," could be heard. Remember that first terrifying ride on the toboggans and the song fests before the open fire ? Here's hoping you have all the fun we had last year. Good Luck!

No, it isn't the League of Nations--it's our own International Relations Club. Our round table discussions are made doubly interesting because

of the fact that we can boast of memberships from many foreign countries. Current events debates are only one of the stimulating features of the organization.
