berta Fleming Roesch, author, journalist, and alumnae of Centenary was our guest speaker. Dr. Roseann M. Cacciola, Vice President and Dean of Faculty, presented the Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation Award for Distinguished Teaching to Ms. Diane MacKinnon. lsbrandsten Gwendolyn received the Lotte honors and Susan Stroud received the Seav honors awards

Taylor Memorial Library was dedicated in 1954 and received an award from the Amercian lnstitute of Architects. lt houses the resource center of the

1978

campus.

The Joseph B. Ferry Music and Arts Building was dedicated in 1967 to Mr. Ferry who was treasurer of the board of trustees for six years.

DuBois Counseling Center, a turn-ofthe-century mansion bought by the college and moved to its present site, was later converted from a residence hall to a counseling center. 94

Centenary Equestrian Center This year the college added a farm to their name. The horsemasters will reside here until 1979-spring. Van Winkle Hall ln the basement of this Dorm is Centenary's own radio station WNTI headed by Mr. Michael Fisher.

The Reeves Building, dedicated in 1954, was named in honor of Dr. John N. Reeves, trustee of the college from 1948 to 1960 and honorary trustee from 1960 to 1976. Trevorrow Hall, headquarters for home economics, science, and art, is dedicated to Dr. and Mrs. Robert J. Trevorrow, who served for over twenty-five years as president and dean respectively.
