The road was sealed off this morning for a technical examination and all traffic was being diverted. The woman is the third person to die in road accidents in Ireland since Friday. In Galway, a man was killed when he was struck by a motorcycle on Friday night. And in Cavan, a man in his 30s died
when his motorcycle collided with a tractor yesterday. Meanwhile, two people were taken to hospital after an accident at Killumney yesterday morning. One of the men was seriously injured. ● Gardaí investigating the Skibbereen accident are appealing for witnesses to contact them in Clonakilty Garda Station on (023) 8821570, the Garda Confidential telephone line on 1800-666-111 or any garda station.
