Triple Green is a full-service green building consulting firm who’s experienced, passionate, and dedicated team members strive to inspire sustainable development as a means of adding property value and increasing environmental awareness, while also fostering healthy, livable indoor conditions for building occupants. Our project managers bring subject matter experts with diverse backgrounds and skills in sustainability to project teams and make reaching green building goals as easy and efficient as possible. Collectively our team has successfully certified over 100 green building projects in most major rating tools.

GREEN BUILDING CERTIFICATION

Our sustainability consultants have been successfully documenting projects seeking green building certification for over 20 years. We have worked with the LEED rating system since its earliest versions and have certified projects inmost LEED rating schemes including LEED NC, LEED Core and Shell, LEED OM, LEED CS, LEED ND and LEED for Homes. As a full service sustainability company we also provide BREEAM assessments for international projects as well as DGNB, EDGE and WELL certification services.

NET-ZERO CARBON

Carbon neutrality studies offer a detailed evaluation of a facility’s ability to achieve net zero carbon status and identify cost effect pathways to achieve it. We explore various feasible ways that a facility can reduce its energy loads, which may include recommended energy audits, energy modeling or if the project is a new build we can provide an embodied carbon assessment of the building’s construction materials and a whole building life cycle assessment using the most reliable and cutting edge software on the market. We offer carbon carbon footprint calculations for new and existing buildings.

CONSULTING

Triple Green offers consulting services to all stakeholders in the building design and construction process. We assist project teams to set and achieve their sustainability goals, regardless of whether they chose to seek certification or simply design and execute a high performance building.

We consult architects, investors, project owners, builders and property managers and our scope ranges based on the capacity needed for each individual project. As part of our consultancy we perform feasibility studies and gap analysis to help clients determine certification potential and goals.

ESG

Environmental, Social, and Governance criteria (ESG) is a set of financial and non-financial performance metrics increasingly adopted by investors as a means to evaluate a company’s material risk, resilience, and capacity for sustainable value-creation in the long-term. Our ESG services include annual ESG reporting, as well as responses to various standardized ESG performance indicators. Our team of green building experts is equipped to help your business craft a robust annual ESG report that best illustrates your efforts and impacts within ESG’s three key dimensions.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT

Commissioning (Cx) is not just a checkmark for a green building certification; it’s for owners who want to ensure that their building meets operational goals. Energy modeling is an essential tool to achieving high performance in energy efficiency.Besides being part of the energy category of requirements for all green building rating tools, energy modeling is a valuable design tool which facilitates the integrated design approach. Building commissioning and energy modeling are essential tools for effective energy management of new and existing buildings.

GREEN BUILDING DESIGN

Starting in 2023 Triple Green will provide green architectural and interior design services which intend to set the highest standard of indoor environmentally friendly working and living. Through the use of natural materials, cutting edge technology and ecological design, implementing the principles of biomimicry, wellness, passive design, as well as ancient and modern best practices, we will create healty and beautiful spaces in harmony with nature. Class A office building, situated in one of the fastest developing areas in Sofia – Hladilnika-Vitosha district. The building is located close to the largest and most prestigious shopping center in Bulgaria –Paradise Center. The complex is in close proximity to a metro station and major inner-city boulevards. The building is designed as per the highest international standards – large floor plates, quality views, modern amenities, contemporary interior design and healthy environment. The project was completed in June 2021.

Balkan Business Center is a class A Premium Office Space with 12 flexible open space office floors above ground and 6 parking floors above ground. The building is connected to The Mall across the street through a pedestrian bridge. The Mall is one of the biggest shopping centers in Sofia which provides variety of services that add value to the office tenants. BBC pursuit to LEED certification aligns with the project’s main goal- creating an excellent working environment and contributing to the sustainable development in Sofia.

Triple Green was selected to certify the project from a handful of competitive proposals.

BPS Office Building 15

The new Building 15 in The Sofia Business Park is situated in an area with abundant vegetation and mature trees, having a good public transport connection and easy access to municipal streets. Strategic pedestrian connections were kept at ground level, providing extension of public spaces throughout the building. That way, its atrium turns into a logical continuation of public spaces around the lake. An open roof park is situated at the top of the building, providing additional recreation space for the tenants and sustainable benefits for the building.

Office Building Expo 2000 – Phase III

Capital Fort Office Tower

Sofia, Bulgaria

Capital Fort is the highest building in the city of Sofia. This large-scale business project has a key location in a fastgrowing district of the city of Sofia near the Tsarigradsko

Shose metro station. The 126 m tower is designed as a classical skyscraper with central core and offices at the periphery. 12 high-speed elevators are located in the core, serving 24 office floors and 3 mechanical floors.

The motto of the project is: “Practical, but exciting building”, which combines the most important values of a successful and timeless project.

For the office in Sofia, MasterCard sought to abandon what it described as the “corporate beaten path” for a fresher, more unexpected identity. Balancing flexibility and functionality on a limited budget, the space features an open plan, height-adjustable workstations and “meetup” spaces that promote choice and flexibility.

The American College in Sofia was founded in 1860. This was the first major project for its reconstruction since the beginning of its construction in the early 20th century. The major renovation consists of removal of existing buildings, reconstruction and rehabilitation of the two existing wings and building a new addition to the main building of the college. In the new building there is a library and a media hall, a performing arts hall, study halls, dining rooms, as well as other modern facilities and equipment. Funding for the project was provided by the America for Bulgaria Foundation, USAID ASHA, the Board of Governors, and other donors.

Triple Green is honored to have been selected as the LEED consultant for the new Sberbank Data Center planned as part of the massive development at Skolkovo Innovation Park in Moscow. Managed by partner Vessela Valtchveva-McGee, the Triple Green team is responsible for consulting the design team on executing a LEED compliant design documentation.

HS-Nauka Kimry Facility – Phase 2

Kimry, Russia

Kimry Manufacturing Facility Phase 2 is the second building for the manufacturing facility for United Technologies located in Kimry, Russia. The facility manufactures heat exchangers for Boeing planes, and due to the UT corporate policy, the facility is required to be LEED Silver certified. After completing the LEED certification process for the first building, HS ‘Nauka” contracted Triple Green to certify the Phase 2 of the manufacturing complex. Triple Green engineer Vassil Vassilev was assigned to prepare an energy model for the building, while our team revised all project documentation and lead the team through successful design review. Triple Green then assured that the projects had fulfiled the building commissioning requirements and prepared the final commissioning report and final certification review documents.

Heat Exchangers Manufacture for Aviation

Kimry, Russia

HS „Nauka” is a manufacturing facility for United Technologies located in Kimry, Russia. It is a facility manufactures heat exchangers for Boeing planes, and due to the UT corporate policy, the facility was required to be LEED Silver certified. After struggling with the LEED certification process for the duration of construction, HS ‘Nauka” contracted Triple Green to come in and salvage the certification project. Triple Green engineer Vassil Vassilev prepared a new energy model for the building, while our team revised all documentation and led the team through successful design review. We then fulfiled the building commissioning requirements and prepared the final commissioning report and final certification review documents. The project successfully received LEED Silver certification in 2012.

Delta Galil Industries is one of the largest textile manufacturers in the world. Triple Green is proud to be selected as their trusted green building consultant on facilities which require certification around the globe. Triple Green has successfully completed a LEED Silver certification for a Delta manufacturing facility for Nike, located in Russe, Bulgaria. This was a particularly challenging project due to the fact that it is a manufacturing facility with very different building and operational parameters than a typical commercial project. Deep expertise and understanding of certification strategies were required to lead the team through the certification process and deliver the desired results. The client was so appreciative of our team’s efforts and performance that we have been selected as an approved international subcontractor for Delta Galil.

Agility Management Building Kuwait City, Kuwait

The Agility Management Building was built with state-of-the-art sustainability features that maximize the use of natural light while improving overall cooling efficiency and energy use. The building is equipped with solar thermal panels, which provide the energy needed to operate the air-conditioning units. The building also includes triple-pane windows that are covered in electro chromic coating, to adjust tint in response to external conditions, allowing light to pass through while blocking heat and increasing energy efficiency. At the time of writing in Kuwait, Agility is one of only four certified projects, and one of 38 registered LEED projects in the country. Incorporating green building practices in the construction industry is a critical way for Kuwaiti companies to help meet the country’s sustainability targets. The purpose of this project is to construct an office building located in Kuwait– Sulaibiya industrial area on the premises of Agility Public warehousing, this building is an annex to the main head office building aiming to provide proper and comfortable work place for the customers and employees.
