Apart from us spending eternity with God, I believe serving others is the greatest part of being a Christian.

Another thing that made this past Kairos so special for me was, not only am I married to a wonderful Godly wife, we’re in ministry together, but God blessed us to serve Kairos weekends at the same time! While I was serving men in prison she was serving women on the outside in Kairos Outside North Texas. So even though for now we’re not able to be together as we desire, God is allowing us to share in good things as one!

A couple of weeks ago I was blessed to be a steward (servant) for our latest Kairos weekend. For those of you who are not familiar with Kairos let me explain: The word “Kairos” means “God’s Special Time”. It’s a ministry that was birthed many years ago that has been very successful in leading men and women to Christ, both inside and out of the prisons. Being that I had been through a Kairos weekend, I was eligible to be a steward for one and was selected for our latest one.

In closing, I encourage all of you females on the outside to attend a Kairos weekend. I assure you, Christian or not, you will be blessed. You men on the outside, The Walk to Emmaus is equivalent to Kairos. Please contact this ministry for more information regarding Kairos.

The theme for any Kairos is to “LOVE, LOVE, LOVE”!!!

Because a great deal of participants who go through a Kairos weekend are not Christians or don’t believe in God. So being able to show the love of God by being a servant for Kairos was an awesome experience. I got to see first hand the doubt and hardness of heart of some guys (some I knew) the first day of Kairos, to see them have a totally different perception of God by the closing

The mission of “The Day of the Lord Ministries” is to embrace offenders, ex-offenders, and their family members with love through the various groups under our umbrella; to assist them in becoming equipped with the things they’ll need to be productive citizens, and loving family members.

Membership in The Day of The Lord Ministries includes all persons participating in any of the stated Ministries who choose to embrace our stated vision and values

To be an instrument through which the power of the Holy Spirit can minister to offenders, exoffenders, and their family members. Causing them to be self confident as they learn their purpose; to develop a new attitude toward their circumstance and rise above it.

“O Lord, do not rebuke me in Your anger, nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure.” Psalm 6:1 “THANKFUL FOR GOD’S MERCY” I’m sure you can remember while you were growing up, how you use to disobey your parents. The punishment was always more severe if they did it to us immediately, or while they was still mad. If they had time to cool off and think about it, they showed us some mercy! Mercy is, not receiving what we really deserve.

There are two specific events in the Bible where God (because of Moses) had mercy on Israel (Exodus 32:114, Numbers 14:1-21). Just like Israel we as Christians have had to rely on the mercy of God because of our disobedience. Just like God’s grace which saved us from eternal damnation, we often take His mercy for granted.

The Bible tells us that God’s mercy endures forever (Psalm 136), but that doesn’t mean it will endure with you forever; because the Bible also says that God will have mercy and compassion on whomever He will (Romans 9:15). So we should be grateful for the mercy God has already shown us, and strive to live our daily lives pleasing to Him. Psalm 103:9 says: “He will not always strive with us, nor will He keep His anger forever”. Verse 17 informs us that God’s mercy is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him. Our actions and the way we live determines if we fear God or not, (meaning reverence Him). I challenge you to ask yourself have you taken God’s mercy for granted, or are you truly thankful for it. God knows and so do you, so make sure you are always thankful for God’s mercy!

Remember it's not about us, it's all about Him!

"Praise Report" God is indeed in the restoring and healing business. Through my previous entries it was obvious that I was a broken man (Spiritually, mentally and physically) God has healed me physically by strengthening me to take out time and focus on my body (which is his temple). I've lost forty pounds. Now I look better and feel better.

God has healed me mentally by giving me a new attitude, a new way of thinking. I now know to put God first in everything and in every aspect of my life. God has healed me spiritually by removing the prideful spirit, the bitter spirit, the spirit of indifference. Lately, I was dealing with an anxiety spirit which has finally been removed. God placed in me his Holy Spirit. His spirit of love, peace and happiness. God has restored my family back into my life. He also added a new edition to my life. Momma Bear I thank God for you, for you are truly an Angel in disguise.

Dear The Day of The Lord Ministries, With all do respect. The reason for this letter, is to tell you'll God is good and I've just finished reading the newsletter. I have to say it touched me, truthfully and I want to thank you'll for coming out with - something worth helping people's life....and giving us the faith to stay with God. " How God called me to Ministry" - Part 8 Alonzo D Fuller #60169, Clements Unit 9601 Spur 591, Amarillo, Texas 79107 LEARNING MORE ABOUT THE ANOINTING Many have asked me the question, “What is the Anointing?” There are several means to describe and explain the anointing, but it truly depends on the spiritual level of the person asking. As I’ve said often times in the past, it takes time and growth to learn some of these things from God. I’m certain our heavenly Father desires for us to grow into the fullness of the knowledge and understanding about the gospel of His Son, Jesus Christ. We preach and teach so much on right living, trusting God, godly behavior and the elementary doctrine of Christ which these have an important place in our Christian walk; but we tend to neglect the higher calling of God in Christ Jesus, e.g., the healing power of God, the Anointing of God, Ministry Gifts, Spiritual Gifts, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and How To Be Led By the Spirit of God. It’s important we pursue after the whole counsel of God’s will for our lives. There is a higher calling of God unlike anything we can have ever imagined. Therefore, I challenge each of you to press toward the mark for this prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

There are different anointing's but they are all from the same Holy Spirit, God is still anointing people to preach, to teach, to pastor, to testify, to sing, to heal, and anointing them to fulfill a calling that’s on their lives. God is even anointing some (the Wilson’s) to build a platform (newsletter) to carry a message to a dark world proclaiming Jesus is the Light of the world. The best way for me to describe what is the anointing, I will describe how it first came to me and how it operates in my life and ministry. What I’m about to write the human-intellect cannot grasp, it requires a renewed mind to discern spiritual things. I do realize its very easy to pass judgment on something that our narrow thinking cannot grasp, because we imagine things have to be done in a certain way. I’m about to share with you what the Lord taught me concerning the anointing.

It first happened in January 2006. I was fast asleep, when suddenly something fell on me and it began wrapping itself around my body, (like an octopus with long tentacles), it felt like an electrical cable wire coiling itself all over me. It was alive. It woke me up, and I was experiencing a real feeling of “electricity” or “volts” surging with great power rushing all over my body. I was thrashing furiously to unwrap or peel off this unseen electricity that was spreading all over my body.

It wasn’t causing me any physical harm, but the initial shock of something pouncing on me while I’m sleep tricked my mind to think I was in danger. I wasn’t.

Imagine grabbing hold of a live-wire, you won’t be able to hold on to it. Not only could I feel the electrical current rushing through my body, I could also hear the crackling and popping sound of electricity. This entire episode lasted no more than a minute or two. I knew whatever it was that “fell” on me, it was in me and still upon me to stay. The following year, 2007, that is when the Lord started teaching me about Divine Healing and the Healing Power of God. Very frequently, “this electricity” would materialize or manifest itself through me for several minutes. I soon learned God gave me an anointing to minister healing. Its called the Healing Power of God or the Healing Anointing, because it brings about a healing and cure to a sick body. I cannot turn it on nor off at will. This is done exclusively through the Spirit of God as He will. When the anointing comes upon me, I expect wonderful things are about to happen.

The anointing is power. God’s power. You should be conscious of the life and power of the Spirit of God flowing through your body. Remember there are different areas and degrees of the anointing. An apostle’s anointing would be different from the prophet’s anointing, and this applies to the other ministry gifts. I have a different anointing from the other ministry gifts, it feels different, and I am conscious of the flow through my body. Its deeper - much deeper - than the anointing to teach or prophesy. It’s the same anointing, because it’s the same Spirit, but it’s multiplied about a hundredfold. When the anointing of the prophet comes upon me, it envelops me. It seems like something is “covering” me. My voice changes.

I sense a power on my tongue, on my lips, my teeth, in my throat and my head feels like a helmet is put on me. I realize it’s the power of God - the anointing - so envelops me that I feel that way.

Many mornings I would be in my bed meditating on the things of God, and without notice the anointing comes upon me in manifestation. It’s as if I was being wrapped up in electrical wire. It’s just all over me. I can hardly stand it. I recognize it as the healing anointing. I have to say, “Lord, turn it off, I can’t take any more.” The anointing is power, Physically, you can take a little electric shock and sometimes a little static electricity. You feel it and shake it off. It doesn’t hurt your body. But if you grab hold of a lamp that’s got a short in it and that power hits you, you jump and holler! So, when I speak about the anointing, I will always speak of it as God’s power. There are some of you with an anointing, and may not recognize it.

Hello family, I pray that all is doing well under the circumstances. First of all, I want to thank the brother on Ferguson Unit when he wrote me. You just don't know how much of a blessing that was to me. I been in the process of cleaning house and a lot of papers have been getting moved around and your letter got misplaced. I do apologize for not getting back at you ASAP! Because you just don't know that everything you said was happening in my life. So thank you bro. I will get at you soon.

Family I want to reflect back on Gal. 1:10. Because Paul said: "If I were still" trying to please men, I wouldn't be a servant of Christ. That says a lot for what's happening in the world today. Inside the walls and outside the walls. People are still trying to please men. Even myself. Because when you have Jesus, truly have Jesus! Distractions no longer have an effect, evil things can not take your spirit, problems in life will not weigh you down. None of these things seem to matter if you truly have Jesus! and when these things do start to effect you it only means we're still trying to please men!

Let me tell you this, because I'm not just talking or bumping (as some people say). I was going through some things out here and I got very distracted! I became so distracted I didn't want to live, please listen to me my beautiful brothers and sisters. It's easy to say keep your eyes on Jesus and you won't sink, but do we really know the depths of our own heart? We can say we love Jesus, but look at Peter, we can say we have faith but look at Thomas, he said he wouldn't believe until; I see the marks on His hands and put my finger were the nails were and put my hand into His side "I will not believe it" John 20:20-24.These people were there, so what makes us so special? How do we just know that we know? We don't know the depths of our heart. Man you and I both better pray and build a hair thin relationship with God, because it's a different ball game when you are dealing with your soul. Your soul is all that matters in the end. It should be the only thing that matters "NOW", so once we start letting distractions hinder our walk with Jesus. It only means we don't have Jesus like we say we do and better start concentrating on our own soul instead of worrying about someone else, cause in the end there is only one thing that is going to please God....A pure and clean soul.

I love all of you and think about it...Do you really know or you still acting? That goes for all of us!!!!!

UNTITLED A child is born in a world of hate; so how does he learn to love? How does he find a saving grace; who directs him up above?

Can he believe in an unseen power; and still endure this hurt? To what does he owe this walk with pain; what is it truly worth?

A child is born to carry a touch; to continue within this land, but he endures a struggle for the sake of life; trying to become a man.

His destiny is set engraved in stone; a glimpse of what is to be, a child of poverty and vision blurred; the image reflected is me.

So cloudy and dark a future stands; still it beckons and strives to be heard. Is it safe to harken o this voice; who can understand it’s words.

With each feared step uncertainly looms; voices which threaten in the night, what good can come from an omen like this; certainly this can’t be right.

Yet being born in a world of so much hate; a lot I must learn on my own, strive with purpose to defeat the unknown and a mind to proclaim my home.

I've been drinking from a cup, in which sin overflows, Satan has his arm around me and refuses to let go. He's been deceiving me all this time with things I most desire, leading me into the bottomless pit of brimstone bake of fire.

He created a beautiful illusion that I actually could not attain, then placed around my neck a heavy laden chain. My soul was at stake and I sold it without a price, Satans' demon chance winked at me as I proceeded to roll the dice, with just that one roll I lost everything I love and that's when I fell to my knees and called on God above, Satan rejected and said wait a minute Vernon, remember we had a deal? Jesus said trust in God and follow me, so that you'll crush Satan with you heel, afterwards Satan brought out all his tricks and trades; but my soul he couldn't obtain, Jesus looked upon me and smiled, then said let me remove that chain.

Now here's a new heart, a new mind go take back your family and much more. Remember God is in the healing business plus all that you lost He will restore. So let us trust in God and follow Jesus with patience and a servant's hearts. Let go of the past, let go of your troubles, and let God do His part.

THROUGH THE FIRE Saints, “May the precious faith that you have obtained be held to the coming of our High Priest; Jesus Christ the Messiah.” I beseech true prayer warriors to keep the apple of God’s eye; “The Day of the Lord Newsletter,” keep praying for its advancement. Is it not recorded in [James 5:16]. The righteous man; men is not scribed, each man makes a whole. As the stewards of God’s newsletter continue to give God all the glory; lets continue to pray for all the necessary items needed so nothing can hinder this newsletters growth.

Turn with me if you will to the book of [Daniel 3:13-30], I desire to pay oh so close attention to [v’s 24-25]. It seems the more Bible that you read, prayers you pray, church you attend, humble yourself, you can not catch a break. As the above text is so clear, you are not in the fire alone, the God of Heaven and Earth knows what he is doing. Turn with me if you will to [James 1;2-4], know that fire test what ever is inside it. As one who works with metals, the fire makes sure that precious metals are genuine and free of foreign substances.

Also turn with me to [1 Peter 1:7], God is the fire that will judge the world [2 Peter 3:10-11]. His true children are being purified, though these trials and tribulations do not feel good nor seem right, God is with you. Just as He was in the fire with [Daniel 3:24-25], a true believer will go through them [2 Timothy 3:12]. It should not be astounding when you see one who was on fire for the kingdom, now does not want no parts of the Kingdom [1 Timothy 4:1 - 1 John 2:19]. Even to those who think they are playing the role, the day of judgment will find man’s true intent [Matthew 7: 21-23 - 1 John 4:1-3]. Be of good cheer, Jesus Christ has overcome the world; let us go through the fire, precious are those who endure.

Dear Brother Virgil, To our God be the glory!! An inmate gave me a copy of your newsletter on 9-21-2013!! I need to ask you, do you see all the many people that is leaving the church these days? I was in the Michael Unit choir and got to hear many men and women PREACH!! So let me ask you this, did not THE HOLY SPIRIT say in James 1:8 “ A DOUBLE MINDED MAN IS UNSTABLE IN ALL HIS WAYS”? When God told ABRAM in Genesis 17:5 “NEITHER SHALL THY NAME ANY MORE BE CALLED ABRAM, BUT THY NAME SHALL BE ABRAHAM, FOR A FATHER OF MANY NATIONS HAVE I MADE THEE”. Did Abraham talk DOUBLE MINDED TALK to any one like many preachers talk today? When did Abram STOP CALLING HIMSELF ABRAM? When did he START telling everyone he was a FATHER (ABRAHAM)? Was he Abram and Abraham?

The OLD MAN and THE NEW!! NO!! For it was by FAITH in what God had said he was, that he said he was now a father (ABRAHAM)!! I have heard many who say they are preachers say “I’M NOT A SAINT” and when a BABY Christian hear that said by what he thinks is a PREACHER the baby Christian believe that that’s true about himself, and began to say “I’M NOT A SAINT”! Yet in Romans 1:7 it said “To ALL that be in Roman, beloved of God, called to be saints”!

So by FAITH I say I am one of God’s saints!! How about you? Many are afraid with unbelief to say what God has said about his children! Preachers come here and say to God’s children, you know, THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS! And they leave it at that, and go on talking!!! What is the baby Christian going to believe and say about himself? He’s going to believe and say “I’M NOT RIGHTEOUS”!! Because the preacher said that, there is none righteous! Do you see the double minded talk? They don’t go on and tell the baby Christian that you as a BORN AGAIN CHILD OF GOD “YOU HAVE BEEN MADE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS!!! (2 Corinthians 5:21). They also PREACH and say, you know we all like sheep have gone astray! And then they go on preaching! What is the baby Christian going to THINK and say? He is going to think and say, I’M A SHEEP GONE ASTRAY! Do you see the double minded talk? When God said in 2 Peter 2:25 “For you WERE as sheep going astray, but ARE NOW RETURNED unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls” so you see WE ARE NOT STRAY SHEEP. They also say to the baby Christian WE ARE ALL SINNERS SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD! What good would it do me to have been born THE FIRST TIME A SINNER SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD, AND THEN BE BORN AGAIN A SINNER SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD? Jesus said in John 17:22 “And the Glory which thou gavest me I have given them”. It also said in Romans 8:30 “moreover who He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and them He also glorified” so you see we are NOT SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD! So they preach and say we ARE ALL SINNERS!! So what is the baby Christian going to THINK and say about himself? Proverbs 23:7 says “FOR AS HE THINKS IN HIS HEART SO IS HE”. So if I believe that God has made me righteous, then I must believe Psalm 1:5 that said “THEREFORE THE UNGODLY SHALL NOT STAND IN THE JUDGMENT, NOT SINNER IN THE CONGREGATION OF THE RIGHTEOUS” so you can see that the SINNER and the RIGHTEOUS are not the same!!! God said that the POWER OF DEATH and LIFE is in the TONGUE! Proverbs 18:21. First with the tongue they say “I’m a sinner, and with the same tongue they say “I’m righteous”!

That’s DOUBLE MINDED TALK. Why would anyone want to go to a church were EVERYONE in that church called themselves sinners? Brother, we ad the sons of God, and the children of God having the DIVINE NATURE OF GOD are to call those things which be not as though they were (Romans 4:17). Many have been made to be afraid to talk by faith like Abraham did! These kind of people have a FORM OF GODLINESS but DENYING THE POWER THEREOF (2 Timothy 3:5) it goes on to say “FROM SUCH TURN AWAY”. You and I know that FAITH COMES BY HEARING (Romans 10:17) so when the baby Christian keep on hearing and hearing preachers tell them that they are STILL SINNERS, what are they going to think and say? So on the one hand they CONFESS (Romans 6:6) “that the OLD MAN (THE SINNER) is CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST” and then turn right back around on the other hand and sat that the old man (the sinner) IS STILL ALIVE! God said in Colossians 3:9-10 “LIE NOT ONE TO ANOTHER, SEEING THAT YE HAVE PUT OFF THE OLD MAN WITH HIS DEEDS: AND HAVE PUT ON THE NEW MAN”. So with the POWER OF THE TONGUE the baby Christian is being taught to speak life to the old man (the sinner) but if the baby Christian is taught to say and believe I’m not a sinner, I’m a saint, and a member of the body of Christ, of his flesh, and of his bones” (Ephesians 5:30), ONE SPIRIT WITH CHRIST (1 Corinthians 5:17), all that DOUBLE MINDED talk would stop!!! They would began to ACT OUT WHO THEY ARE, and NOT WHO THEY WERE!!! Well, I have said enough for . May the Holy Spirit help you to PREACH and TEACH the TRUTH!!

“OFFENSE… CAN BE COVERED WITH LOVE” When we come to Christ and repent for our sins, and we make Him our Lord and Savior the Bible tells us that we become to be a new creature in Him (2 Cor. 5:17). When that happens we allow the Holy Spirit within us to change us, by the renewing of our minds (Rom. 12:2) that way we can be like Jesus. The change comes upon some suddenly like it happened with the apostle Paul, for some others is a process that happens one day at a time when God take is from glory to glory (2 Cor. 3:18) But what if it seems that you are still the same one? What if you have been allowing the enemy to put that thought in your head? Don’t believe it, nor give up! Keep on pressing and pushing, believing that God will finish the good work he started in your life (Phil. 1:6).

Have something in your mind, it doesn't matter how fast that change within you is happening, what matters is that it is happening for God’s glory, because then we will glorify Him in our body (1 Cor. 6:20). So remember that is not where you are at, but to where you are striving to go (my sister told me that! ) Brothers and sisters we are the light in the darkness, and we need to present ourselves in a different way, and act in a different way every time someone hurt or offend us. You see, we are people chosen by God (Jn. 15:19) with a holy calling (Rom. 11:29), (2 Tim. 1:9). When God chose us and sealed us with His Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 1:22), (Eph. 1:13) we became to be part of the Body of Christ. We are one body (1 Cor. 12:13) and there most be UNITY between all of us, but in reality what we see more is division, when there should be none because we should be perfectly joined to one another (1 Cor. 1:10), and of one mind (1 Peter 3:7). Divisions come in different types and shapes, but today I want to talk to all of you about the division that comes when someone offends you. The division here comes in when we don’t know how to truly forgive the offensor. Remember that Christ tell us that we need to forgive to be forgiven (Matt. 6:12). If you are forgiven by the Father how cannot forgive that person too? When you don't forgive the offense will take root in your heart and it will hinder our spiritual walk, our prayers, and our relationship with God. All because we allowed offense to take root and we didn't have the courage to humble before the Lord and pray telling Him to clean your heart because we want to stay offended. On 2 Chr. 7:14 God tell us that if we humble ourselves he will clean us. So the choice is ours, we can either be with that offense in our hearts or let God clean and heal us of it.

Don’t you know that if we hold on to that grudge, it takes our joy and peace away? Don’t take offense! In Acts 24:16 the apostle Paul tells us “to have always a conscience void of offense.” Even if you know that the person is wrong or right in what she said or did to you, do not let it stay that way, that offense will put a block in your spiritual growth, and everything that the person who hurt you or offended you say or do will keep on offending you. It will make you even madder when you know deep down that he/she is telling you something good. It will always offend you because the offense is still rooted in. it will suffocate your spiritual man little by little. Believe me, I’m telling you from experience. Now let me give you some advice, and I hope it helps you. I know it helped me! If you try to fix things up between and the offender but it seems like its getting worse and worse. Don’t worry, nor give up on your brother/ sister but get two or three more brothers/sisters with you and talk it out. Put everything on the table, let that person know how she/he hurt you or offended you. Many times the person who does the “offense” doesn’t even know about it. You took the spirit of offense upon yourself by letting her/him offend you. So please, put everything out there in front of two or three witnesses (Matt. 18:16), with the helping wisdom of God they will help the two of you out in love and without judgment. Then all of us we can be unity the way we were created to be by God and for God’s glory. So brothers and sisters, remember that love covers all sins (Pr. 10:12), and what better thing than to love and forgive in the love of God? May God keep on blessing you and shine His marvelous light upon you!

” Pastor Jeremiah Steepek (pictured above) transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the 10,000 member church that he was to be introduced as the head pastor at that morning. He walked around his soon to be church for 30 minutes while it was filling with people for service….only 3 people out of the 7-10,000 people said hello to him. He asked people for change to buy food….NO ONE in the church gave him change. He went into the sanctuary to sit down in the front of the church and was asked by the ushers if he would please sit n the back. He greeted people to be greeted back with stares and dirty looks, with people looking down on him and judging him.

As he sat in the back of the church, he listened to the church announcements and such. When all that was done, the elders went up and were excited to introduce the new pastor of the church to the congregation……..”We would like to introduce to you Pastor Jeremiah Steepek”….The congregation looked around clapping with joy and anticipation…..The homeless man sitting in the back stood up…..and started walking down the aisle…..the clapping stopped with ALL eyes on him….he walked up the altar and took the microphone from the elders (who were in on this) and paused for a moment….then he recited “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

After he recited this, he looked towards the congregation and told them all what he had experienced that morning… many began to cry and many heads were bowed in shame…. he then said….Today I see a gathering of people……not a church of Jesus Christ. The world has enough people, but not enough disciples…when will YOU decide to become disciples? He then dismissed service until next week…….Being a Christian is more than something you claim. It’s something you live by and share with others.”

Romans 12:1-8 "Love Hate Relationships" The words; less say the “jewels” that I'm about to outlay is for ONE LOVE MINISRY. It's value is priceless.....

We are in need of a conscious mind. "Acknowledging GOD in all things." Sin is sin, and the wages of sin is death. (A coward dies a thousand deaths, a soldier only dies but once). We once were blind, when we made the choice of life. We must refrain and sustain.

Romans 12:9-21. Sister, love is a powerful word. To emphasis read Nahum 1:2 God is a jealous and avenging God. To love is to trust. It's comfort, with it is honor, loyalty and respect. We are in a spiritual war here. When you present ONE LOVE; you present great faith in the living and holy sacrifices that is manifested of GOD. When you deal with the enemy, you don't violate you silent codes....

The devil is our enemy, his principal tactic is slander, Satan will do anything to destroy your faith. He is relentless and never gives up. The father of lies (a pair of lips will say anything) we are in the storm of deception so watch out! Read Joyce Meyers book called "Battlefield of the mind" and equip yourselves with the armor of God we are in a war! You trust no one! (ONLY GOD) close your body. Gain control of your mind. (Mind over Matter). At the same time keep it true, the devil is a stumbling block, he is out to steal your joy, to kill and destroy you. Mindful of your body, it's your temple. Drugs and inducements pollute your mind. 90% of us in prison deal with some form of inducement to our minds and bodies. Psych pills, all of it is no good! It programs your actions. To break from sin, it to get control over the destructive pattern that cycles destruction.

If a person doesn't repent and give their lives to Christ, they are living in sin and you better have on your whole armor of GOD, because you will be attacked!!!!!!

Defense- (stronghold) assures victory against all assaults, salvation guarantees the defeat of all adversaries. Light dispels the anxieties and dangers of darkness.

2 Corinthians 2:14 also 4:9. Read Romans 8:28 and Psalm 34:19, 121:7-8 and Psalm 27 is my testimony. I was caught in sin, when I finally decided to choose life over death, when death was all I saw around me, I realized how weak I am alone. I started trusting in GOD and He has not forsaken me. Proverbs 3:5, 21-22. Discern the spirit by the fruit of their works. As you grow in the word, you will learn how to proceed with others; friends or foes, family or whatever.

When we have -ONE LOVE- we love God and despise the devil. I hate the devil! But I can forgive the people, for they know not what they do, that's reason to turn the other cheek. As you fight this war of the spirits, stay strapped and in action. The devil is working real hard, and spiritual maturity will allow you to see how pathetic and determine Satan is. Don't slip though!!! All rules apply as you know them, partial truths are scattered all over this earth as “game”. We are in this “game” of life. I pray that you reach Heaven. PS: I’m on a unit where people are so lost, deceived, and spiritually broken into pieces; that I’m saddened. The devil reaps hard here. It’s like they are so much in deception that they can’t see what’s in play here, and got nerves to believe a lie, and to go around like they really got it going too. Not everyone! Or else this place would have been destroyed. Remember the story of Sodom and Gomorrah… as I again bring emphasis on Psalm 27th chapter.

EVERYDAY IS THANKSGIVING As we enter into another Thanksgiving Holiday I’m reminded that everyday is a day of Thanksgiving. We give thanks for answered prayers. God works out his plans for our lives and will bring us through the difficulties we face. David said in Psalm 138:1 That he will praise God with his whole heart. We ought to give God our everything in praise because He is good and His mercy endures forever. But a lot of people come to church and give God a half praise. God deserves our praise because of His endless love never fails.

Psalm 136:1 talks about giving thanks unto the Lord; for He is good. God truly has been good to me and I just can’t tell it all.

Finally in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 tells is in everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Paul was not teaching that we should thank God for everything that happens to us, but in everything! Evil does not come from God, so we should not thank Him for it. But when evil strikes, we can still be thankful for God’s presence and for the good He will accomplish through the distress.

SANIFICATION BY GRACE Greetings in the name of Christ Jesus our King, brother and sisters in Christ in January 2013 my battle cry was "Embrace Grace" for the year of 2013. In all of my devotionals submitted to the T.D.O.T.L Newsletter, I have carried that same theme. I want to look at Paul this time and his Epistle to the Saints at Philippi and how it exudes grace. Let us pray: Eternal and Gracious God, in the Powerful name of Jesus Christ we enter into your presence not to make a list of request but to say thank you! Thank you, Father for being so good to you, thank you, Father for giving us understanding of your word at this time, thank you, O' Lord for even trusting us with your word. Today, God let the Power of your Holy Spirit fall on us, to give us a fresh fire and anointing whereby we will have our minds illuminated, our hearts mended, our fellowship restored with you and the body of Christ. Show us what you allowed Paul to expose the Saints at Philippi to in your word today! In the matchless name of Christ Jesus, Amen.

Let's start at chapter 1 of Philippians, the basic theme here is joy the idea of rejoicing is found sixteen times appearing in noun form and verb form (non form 1:4, 25; 2:2, 29;, 4:1), (verb form 1:18 twice; 2:17 twice, 28; 3:1; 4:4 twice and 4:10). Look at Philippians chapter one: (KJV) V1. "Paul and Timothy, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:") Let us look at this, Paul and Timothy imply they are Christ's workers or servants (literally bondservants or slaves) belonging to Christ Jesus. " Saints is a technical term referring not to the spiritual elite but to all Christians. Watch this Saints are "separated ones". For you bible scholars Strong's 40,41 in the Greek dictionary GK., haqios (consecrated, holy), sanctify. Watch this : believers are separated in a dual sense: D. they are set-apart for God and His use - separate from all that is profane. 2) separated from evil, they/we are morally pure and Holy. This is reason to shout and say than you God. V2. Paul extend grace and peace, V3. Thanksgiving to God, V4. Praying for the Saints with joy, V5. Thanksgiving for their fellowship in the gospel or their participation in the spreading of good news. Paul is thankful that the Philippians are in harmony with him and the brethren and the believers are meeting the needs of others and they are doing the will of God. But I want to camp out on Verse 6 "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." Paul is fully convinced that the work of grace that God began in the believers at Philippi at their conversion, God is able to complete. in other words God will continue to work (Sanctification) in the believer until Jesus returns at which point His work in us will be completed. Amen.

Sanctification is a three phase process, I do not want to be too elementary here we are students of the bible, but we also have new believers who may have questions and mature Christians who need refresher material Sanctify means to set apart or to be set apart, the Holy Spirit is attempting to make the believer holy and spiritual (reflection the character of Go). The first phase, the believer is forgiven and set apart to God at his conversion this is "positional sanctification". The second phase, the believer is constantly being set apart from sin, when he utilizes the means of grace in his life, this is "progressive sanctification".

The third phase, "complete sanctification" begins at death of at the rapture and is completed when the believer's spirit is reunited with his glorified body. Do you know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord? Have you yielded your life to Him? If this is you, first admit you are in need of a Savior, Romans 3:23 Second, believe in the finished work of the ross, believe in the person of Christ Jesus and call on Him Acts 16:31. Third, commit yourself to Christ, submit your will and become a child of God today, John 1:12. Next realize "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8). Do you receive it today? Go tell somebody about your decision to receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, allot the Holy Spirit to begin to set you apart.

To my Christian brothers and sisters the same God who began His saving work in the Philippians is at work in us, the same spirit that works for Jesus works for us, the same word Jesus spoke, we need to speak The purpose that God has for us will neither be abandoned nor unrealized in us if we will jus say "Have thine own way Lord, have thine own way with me." God is good all the time, and all the time God is good! “STAYING CONNECTED TO THE VINE” John 15:1-7 (V-1) Jesus said; “I am the true vine, and my Father is the Gardner. (V-2) He (God) cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit, he prunes., so that it will be even fruitful. The Word of God is speaking to us concerning staying connected to Him. We stay connected to God by reading His Word (OUR BIBLE), worshipping God, Honoring God, Giving God all the praise due Him. Praising and growing in God’s love. Being connected to the vine simply mean constantly praising God and pleasing Him (GOD). For the Word says in (V-2), He (GOD) cut off every branch in Him that bears no fruit. So if you’re not reading God’s word (The Bible) and applying it to your life daily, then you’re not bearing any fruit. The word clearly says the branch that does bear fruit, He prunes so that it may be even more fruitful. So if we are doing what God is asking us to do. (PREACHING, TEACHING, AND SPENDING TIME IN READING THE WORD OF GOD), He will make is more fruitful to continue His work through us. (V-4). Jesus said remain in Me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by its self; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Him (JESUS). “We can do nothing without God, and if we don’t remain in CHRIST JESUS, the He can’t remain in us. A branch out of contact with the vine is lifeless. (IS A DEAD BRANCH)… In this scripture God is the Gardner, Jesus is the vine and we are the branches (THE BELIEVERS). So we as believers are the branches. (V-5) Jesus said I am the vine, you are the branches. If a man remain or woman remain in me, and I in them, Him or Her will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing. (V-6) Jesus said if anyone does not remain in me (HIM) he is like a branch that is thrown away and withered, such branches are picked up and thrown into the fire and burned. The Bible says if anyone does not remain in God, he is like a branch that is withered away and thrown in the fire and burned. I did not say this, God’s Word is clear we must STAY CONNECTED TO THE VINE… we can’t just praise God while we’re in prison and then when we make parole we stop, or when we get out we go back to the same things that we use to do. The devil is a lie. The Word of God tells us to be in the world, but not of the world. I was blessed by God to make parole, and I will praise Him even more now than before. I know it was the power of God, by me remaining in Him (GOD), and He remains in me. Listen to what (V-7) says; (If you remain in me and my word remains in you, you can ask whatsoever you wish and it will be given to you. As you can see that God’s word is clear to us, if we remain in Him and His word remains in us, we can ask whatsoever we wish, and it will be given to is this is God’s words of promise, and He stands firm on His word. For God’s word do not contradict itself (ISAIAH 55:11) God said; So shall my Word be that goeth forth out of my mouth. It shall accomplished that which I pleased. And it shall prosper into the things which I sent it. (STAY CONNECTED IN THE VINE). So as I come to a close, this is my prayer for each and everyone, including myself. Let us all STAY CONNECTED TO THE VINE. IN THE NAME OF JESUS I PRAY… For I am living proof that God is a on time God. *WHIRLPOOL* Do you not know at times we can get sucked into a “whirlpool” of ungodliness when we worry about what people say and most of the negativity come from the brothers in the church. “So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto then, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. (John 8:7) But I have found out the hard way that you can be sucked into a “whirlpool” of criticism from the one that suppose to love you with unconditional love, but some are just that wolves in sheep clothing… Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. (Matthew 7:15) The time has come to stop this “whirlpool” of unforgiveness, strife, backbiting, hatred, and false witness toward a brother or sister. Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. (Ezekiel 22:27) This “whirlpool” will continue to go as long as we keep a hard heart and envy toward a person! We need to take a moment to stop and reflect on what is really going on; that this is a “Spiritual War” we are engaged in and if a brother or sister fall, stop criticizing he or she; just remember it just might be you!!! The church need to be the “whirlpool” of love, forgiveness, compassion, encouragement, and strength for them that fall… sometimes we allow ourselves to get caught up into the things of the world, thinking that we can solve the problem ourselves and how wrong are we! I encourage each brother and sister to create a “whirlpool” of love, forgiveness, compassion, and understanding that will keep them strong in the time of need. Don’t be like the Pharisees and be caught up in your own self righteousness and think you are far better than the one that is having problems… Remember this as long as we continue to cast stones at one another we are dividing the church… But as long as we help carry the burden of our brother and sister, we are in unity and of one accord with God’s Word! So please lets be a “whirlpool” of love, forgiveness, and compassion so that others can see Christ in us… GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

The last paragraph of you Spoken Word coincided with one of my previous studies. Our works can be summed up basically in one word. That word is love. Faith without love is dead. Lets go to the word. (1 Cor. 13:2) “If I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing,” I recommend that you read the whole chapter, I refer to it as the love chapter. Love never fails, it is operative in everything. God is love. The works that you & your wife do; demonstrates you two love. I’m in total agreement with your “Our Works Makes A Difference”. You have brought a community of people together and closer to God through your works.
