The focus of this project was to build a minimalistic yet functional home with an architectural design that takes full advantage of the river-side setting. The street view sets the tone for something unique. Utilizing smooth, saw-cut natural stone blended seamlessly with the adjoining stucco exterior, finished off with a dark gray metal roof makes for incredible curb appeal. Opening the front-entry door brings you directly into the 14-foot-high great room. Here the nearly floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and walls create a smooth transition from indoors to outdoors, allowing the amazing river view to become part of the interior decor. A similar effect repeats in every room, each of which feature large aluminum windows with minimal obstruction to sight lines.
