“Life of Pi” by Yann Martel is a fascinating novel in which a 16 year-old boy, Pi, is the only survivor from a shipwreck. Together with a zebra, an orang-utan, a hyena and a Bengal tiger, they start a great adventure that for Pi and the tiger will last 227 days! A book that makes us think about our own beliefs, religion, endurance and the existence of zoos. A truly remarkable and impassioned defence of zoos – really worth Reading!
