CAR LAUNCH TBR 11 is pleased to announce that the oďŹƒcial launch of the 2011 car will be held on June 1st at the University of Bath. We invite all sponsors to attend the event where we will for the first time be giving live demonstrations of the car along with short presentations from the team and key stakeholders. With over 8000 students, academics and visitors, we wish to gain maximum exposure for our sponsors and our car while highlighting TBR11’s presence within the University and the local community. # We hope that 2011 will prove to be our best racing season so far and we are confident that our team can deliver a package capable of exceeding the high benchmark set by previous Bath teams. With a redesigned and more focused car, TBR11 looks forward to our best season yet, and anticipates a tough but rewarding experience as we compete in the U.K, in Europe and, for the first time, in the U.S. at the FSAE California event â–

NEW PARTS Many thanks to our sponsors for the latest batch of new parts and tools. ATI Stellram, a world leader in metal cutting solutions, have supplied us with tooling components while the Barden Corporation and INA FAG are supplying TBR11 with Bearings.

COLERNE TESTING Last weekend the first driver training and test session took place at Colerne airfield.

#

We have also received the exhaust and silencers to be used in combination with our Aprilia RXV 550 engine on the 2011 car from LaFranconi Silenziatori, based in Italy â–

These sessions take place week in week out, allowing the prospective drivers to hone their skills in a number of exercises, designed to replicate the dynamic events at Silverstone in July. The team uses the TBR 2010 car, both to test and monitor the progress of the drivers and as a test bed for new parts and developments. Many thanks go to Colerne, the continued use of their facilities is proving invaluable in preparing the TBR 2011 car and allowing the drivers to become fully accustomed to the challenges of the Formula Student events â–

NEW WEBSITE The new TBR website is now online following a major refresh to highlight the team’s commitment to our sponsors while also providing valuable insight into past present and future teams. With a whole new design and weekly updates on car build and new part arrivals, we hope to give visitors to the site an in depth view into TBR11 while also providing our sponsors with maximum exposure. TBR11 would like to thank all those who have worked to make the new website possible and are now confident that it truly emphasises our dedication to excellence within Formula Student â–
