KPMOD
A hope for Corneal Blindness

keratoprosthesis
¿? KP-MOD is an ophthalmological advanced therapy for cases of severe corneal blindness, based on a newly developed implant with therapeutic and regenerative capabilities.
The system consists of a core central optical part surrounded by a skirt ring containing cells and drugs that can be selected, programmed and modulated according to the specific requirements for the person treated. This treatment in and of itself is quite powerful, and in addition can be combined with other therapies (i.e. Amniotic membrane epitilization, stromal reinforcement,…).
