Ed's Note LOVING THIS MONTH:

Hey everybody,

I can’t resist a good lip product and THEFACESHOP Melting Color Lip Creamer ($15.90, comes in eight shades) fits the bill perfectly. Not only does it keep the lips well-moisturised, it’s also great for those who are looking for a longlasting lip colour that fades off into a nice tint.

Summer is finally upon us – even though it’s technically summer all yearround here, you can always tell because the weather gets (unbearably) hotter this time of year. I can’t stress enough

the importance of putting on sunscreen, so how better to do it than

to recommend a whole slew of ‘em (p. 24)? Same goes for shades (p. 38) – another

essential to looking cool yet blocking out the glare of the sun. This month, we celebrate the goodness of life. From giving useful tips on how to be happy (p. 68) to busting the myths of volunteering (p. 74), we’ve got you covered on how to

feel good and lead a stress-free life (p. 70). Also, we haven’t forgotten the Teenage readers who are going on their June holidays. Check out our list of

interesting workshops to try out this holiday (p. 84), and exciting movies to watch this June (p. 60)! The Teenage team is super stoked to be the Official Youth Magazine for the

upcoming B.A.P concert on 27 June. Read our exclusive interview with the dynamic band (p. 42), and remember to grab your tickets if you haven’t done so. Last but not least, it’s a battle of the K-bands (p. 50) – can you guess who came out on top? Love,

Johanna 6

Your Say Letter of the month

Holler at us! We want to know what you think of Teenage, how our stories make a difference in your life, and where we can improve. Here’s how!

Send your letters to TEENAGE Magazine, 20 Bedok South Road Singapore 469277 or email to marketing@key-editions.com Please include your name, NRIC no., address, contact no. and email address. This month’s ‘Letter of the Month’ wins a pair of Happy Plugs In-Ear worth $45

When I saw the May issue on newsstands, I knew I had to pick up a copy. It’s GOT7, it’s pastel, and it’s superhero-themed! I wasn’t able to buy tickets for GOT7’s upcoming concert in Singapore, but I’m glad you guys decided to put them on the cover. They are an incredibly talented bunch and have come such a long way since debut. Thank you for showing our boys so much love! I’m also a huge fan of Marvel/ DC Comics, and it makes me very happy to see everything superhero related in this issue. I especially love the Beauty spread where you feature super cool makeup looks

Dear Teenage, I’d always put aside $3 to purchase a copy of Teenage every month, and this has been going on for the past five years. I am 20 years old now and I’m still an ardent reader of Teenage. As a loyal fan, I’ve noticed how much the magazine has evolved throughout the years – especially the overall look and feel. I’m really liking the fashion and beauty pages in the May issue, particularly the Lookbook section which are all really bright and fun looks that are perfect for our sunny weather. One of the columns that I’d always come back to for recommendations is the Tuckshop section. I enjoy hunting for good cafes around Singapore, so I am really happy to see an entire list of all-day breakfast spots where I can eat brunch at any time of the day. I’ve personally been to Rise & Grind Co. and

inspired by female superheroes such as Rogue, Mystique and Scarlet Witch. I appreciate that these are actually wearable and not too over-the-top for normal people like us. I’ll definitely give them a try next time! Once again, thank you Teenage for creating such an awesome issue and I certainly hope to see more great stories from you. It has been my favourite companion since my teenage years and I’ll always continue supporting Teenage. Cheers to the team! Thanks for the support, Victoria! Your letter has been picked as the ‘Letter of the Month’!

Much love, Victoria

A WOOD

PRESENT

Mother’s Day is round the corner. Here are some unique yet effortless DIYs for the best present ever. Shadow Play Time taken: 30 mins

En Block Time taken: 45 mins

These colour-blocked candleholders will add a nice touch to your home, and definitely please the mums with a love for small knick-knacks. To create the base, wrap painter’s tape around the corners of each block. Paint the exposed areas with your desired colour. You can create a two-toned block by letting the first layer of paint to dry first before painting the other side. Using craft glue, stick two blocks together. Leave to dry, then glue a copper tube on top to secure it as a candleholder.

Sure, a shallow wooden box can be used for displaying photos but here’s a more interesting way to show off your memories. Add screws to the sides of the box, then tie strings across the frame. Frame it up with some soft faux wood strips and use small pegs to clip on mum’s favourite family shots.

Hi Teenage!

Hanging Out Here’s an interesting way to display family photos. Paint a round wooden dowel with silver acrylic paint. Once dry, tie each end of a piece of yarn to the dowel, applying super glue to each double knot to secure. At the end of each yarn, stick a wooden ball to the end with superglue. Add on to the present by surprising mum with carefully curated photos of the family’s best memories together.

Also, I’m thankful that you took into consideration Mother’s Day as well. I prefer to DIY my gifts as I find them more sincere than store-bought ones, and these cool craft ideas really came in handy! Keep up the good work, Teenage! Love, Yi Ling

Let It Flow Food fads come and go, but if there’s one novelty that’s here to stay, it’s salted egg yolk-anything. From croissants to macarons to rainbow cakes, here’s where you can sink your teeth into the best liquid gold creations around town. By chew hui ling

Charlotte Grace Cakeshop 27 Kampong Bahru Road, Singapore 169351

Run by a young self-taught baker, Charlotte Grace Cakeshop offers a tempting array of customised French pastries which are almost too beautiful to dig into, including fondant tiered cakes, cupcakes, cookies and tarts. But the real stars of the show are their adorable pastel macarons ($2.20 each, a box of 10 for $20) that come in exotic flavours like yuzu chocolate, pistachio, and of course, the salted egg versions (adorned with little heart eyes!). These mini confections sell out pretty fast, so make sure to reserve a box in advance if you don’t wanna go home empty-handed. You can either place your orders via 9768 9827 or email them at orders@charlotte-grace.com.

FIX 31 Ah Hood Road, HomeTeamNS #01-07, Singapore 329979

Antoinette 30 Penhas Road, Singapore 208188 333A Orchard Road, Singapore 238897

Salted egg croissants are a dime a dozen, but the mother of all options is undoubtedly the Salted Yolk Lava Croissant ($6.50) from Antoinette. Freshly baked in-house, these decadent treats are puffed up to a golden brown, hiding oozy custard goodness under layers of buttery crust. We like that it stays true to the salted egg yolk taste, with the right balance of sweet and savoury that doesn’t overwhelm your taste buds. If you’re feeling extra indulgent, don’t forget to grab a few of their new Salted Yolk Cheese Tart ($3) – these babies will only be available for a limited period at the Penhas outlet, so snag ‘em while stocks last!

Dapper Coffee 73 Amoy Street, Singapore 069892

A Halal-certified poolside cafe and grill run by the folks behind Grub, FIX is best at original homemade goods featuring the likes of their innovative naanwiches and meat platters. But what’s truly sensational about this place is their crowdpleasing Donuts with Salted Egg Dip ($6) – bite-sized fluff balls tossed in fine sugar and served with a salted egg yolk dipping sauce. Crazy sinful but well worth the calories. Although we think it’d be a ton more addictive if they made it into donuts balls with a custard filling, this is enough to satisfy our fix for now.

With a penchant for the quirky, Dapper Coffee boasts an endless parade of experiential cakes like Gula Melaka Walnut Oat, Matcha Raspberry White Chocolate, and their most popular offering of all-time: the Salted Egg Black Sesame Cake ($9 per slice, from $40 for a whole cake), a fluffy chiffon cake coated in black sesame cream, drizzled with salted egg sauce and sprinkled with crunchy crumbles all over the top. Also not to be missed is the Salted Egg Earl Grey Cake doused in salted egg yolk drizzle and torched marshmallows – trust us, these are equally enticing.

rule Sometimes wanting something is better than having it ‘Following your dreams’ is great in theory, but what happens when reality doesn’t live up to your fantasies? The usually happy-go-lucky Jongup surprised us with his philosophical view on the topic: “Youth is the time for us to chase after our dreams, but there may also be instances where you become disappointed after achieving your goals. If being in our teens is when we figure out our calling, wouldn’t being in our twenties be a time where we look at our dreams and reality simultaneously?” So maybe you didn’t get into the course you wanted, or the guy you’ve crushed on isn’t as perfect as you had imagined. Take heart, everything happens for a reason, and there might be better opportunities ahead!

Never stop working hard

Don’t be afraid to speak your mind

The boys certainly haven’t been idle during their break; Yongguk holed up in the recording studio (as usual), Himchan toughened up at the gym, Daehyun busked on the streets of his hometown, Youngjae rented a private practice room, Jongup brushed up on his vocal skills, while Zelo went to Canada for music studies. “I returned after realising a lot,” the maknae muses. “Looking back, the most memorable [moment] was composing in the basement. It wasn’t about having the best equipment or learning from famous teachers; I improved through working hard in a realistic environment, and learnt a lot through watching it come to fruition.” Daehyun adds, “We haven’t reached our peak yet. In order to reach the highest points of our lives, the more we should do our best.” Such dedication is hard to find, and it’s great to see that their efforts paid off.

There’s no arguing the fact that B.A.P is an incredibly tight-knit bunch – “Friends who make music”, as dubbed by Yongguk – but it was the hiatus that helped them to open up and cement their bond even further. They were spotted together frequently, even going on vacation as a group. “It’s a blessing for the six of us to be together. We went on a trip and had the time to look up at the night sky and talk a lot among ourselves,” Yongguk reflects. “I’ve looked back at myself after hearing the members’ worries. As a leader, I think my stubborn streak in the past has been rather toxic on the members. We’ve had many conversations since then and I now encourage them to share their opinions if we have conflicting thoughts.”

They’ve got each other’s backs.

Meet Darren Espanto Heads up! You may know not it yet, but this 15-year-old with the huge voice and even bigger dreams will be the next pop sensation you’ll fall in love with. Here are six things you need to know about Darren Espanto, pronto. By johanna teo

D

arren Espanto has achieved remarkable results for someone his age. At only 15 years old, the Canadian-born Filipino singer has participated in nation-wide competitions, released charttopping music, and captured legions of fans’ hearts worldwide. Speaking with the musical trailblazer, we realised exactly why he’s on the fast track to stardom. Meet Darren Espanto, the fresh-faced teen you’ll be swooning over next.

He is talented to boot

We’re not exaggerating, but boy can this kid sing! From Sia, to Ariana Grande, to even Whitney Housten, Darren has no difficulty belting out huge tunes at any given moment. It’s also uncanny how he’s able to mimic aforementioned singers (especially Ariana Grande), down to their individual vocal signatures. But are there any genres he hasn’t quite mastered? “I can’t do those really intense rap songs, and I guess there are also some rock songs I can’t do,” Darren offered, “It takes years of practice for rappers to know how to deliver the lyrics, and the way the mouth moves.” He added, “I’ve actually been [rapping], but it still needs work. I’d like to try theatre music, and maybe jazz.”

Even Nicki Minaj likes him

Not anyone can boast being given the nod of approval by platinum-selling artistes. After

48

viewing Darren’s viral cover of ‘Chandelier’ by Sia last year, the ‘Anaconda’ singer promptly shared it on her Facebook page, praising his “effortless” and “incredible voice”. And she wasn’t the only one – Jessie J had watched it too and told him that “it was amazing” when they met up during her concert in Philippines.

living in the moment, I guess.” Grounded and mature at only 15? We approve.

You’d probably share more than one thing in common

After revealing that he spends time catching up with friends and family (and catching a flick or two) during his off-days, we asked the singer to recommend his favourites. “The Hunger Games, the Harry Potter series, and... Star Wars!” Darren laughed. “I wasn’t born yet when [Star Wars] was released, so I got the DVDs.” And that was how we concluded that Darren was totally a kindred spirit in disguise – we wanted to high-five him after he mentioned Harry Potter, but we had to stay cool.

He’s real on social media

He understands the pains of homework

You’ll need to check out his Instagram to understand what we really mean, but we like how Darren’s feed shows glimpses of his true personality. For example, apart from his work-related posts, a quick scroll would show you beautiful travel photos, family snaps, cute animals and Tumblr-worthy humour – basically everything Darren gets up to on a daily basis. Which explains why the dude’s got over a million followers on Instagram...

We can’t decide which we’re more impressed by: Darren’s burgeoning music career or the fact that he’s still schooling, despite his busy schedule. “I get days blocked off for schooling, so that whole day is just for [studying], and sometimes before or after work, I like to [study], if I have the time,” Darren shared, although he couldn’t decide on a favourite subject because “it’s all difficult”. We feel your pain!

‘Troubled Rockstar ’ ain’t his style

Surefire Pop Idol Formula

Plenty of young and talented stars fall prey to wild partying and booze, but Darren’s set on avoiding all that. “I just really follow what my parents have said since I was a kid, to just stay humble and hang out with the right people,” the singer revealed. “As an artist you have to know how to be mature, but also how to be a kid at the same time. I’m just

The Comeback Kids We’re gearing up for yet another summer showdown with K-pop’s brightest gems going head to head on the charts. Who will come out tops? Here’s how they stack up. By Chew Hui Ling

Battle of the

BOY BANDS

CNBLUE

CNBLUE and DAY6 are our favourite K-pop bands, so it was really exciting when both groups released albums Blueming and DAYDREAM just days apart. But before fans could worry about band rivalry, Yonghwa (CNBLUE) declared his love for DAY6’s concept while Jonghyun (CNBLUE) expressed his wish that they’d be able to hold jamming sessions in the waiting room together. Plus, both acts have vastly different musical styles – it’ll be a treat if they actually collaborated!

The Concept DAY6

CNBLUE

Released a mere month after member Junhyeok’s sudden departure, DAY6’s second mini album DAYDREAM is a bittersweet record. The band is especially sentimental here – perhaps the most heart-wrenching would be their title track ‘Letting Go’, not to mention the album cover of a hand overlapping the five members. Sad stuff aside, we’re glad they are finally promoting on music shows – after months of performing in concerts and busking on the streets. The world deserves to hear them!

It seems like CNBLUE has been hard at work recently! We certainly didn’t expect them to have a comeback so quickly after their last album 2gether back in September last year, but we’re not complaining. CNBLUE’s sixth mini album Blueming, a combination of the words ‘CNBLUE’ and ‘blooming’, arrived just in time for the season. Clearly, this album’s out to charm the audience – with concept images depicting them as boyfriends waiting for their girlfriends in a coffee shop and all. And boy, did it work.

DAY6

The Album DAY6 attracted fans to their surprise busking event for their

500

new album

DAY6

CNBLUE

While their debut effort The Day was meant to appeal to the masses, DAYDREAM is uniquely DAY6 – a breath-taking collection of six self-produced tracks that provides a solid introduction to the band. From traditional ballads like ‘Letting Go’ to 50s-inspired rock like ‘First Time’, they pulled out all the stops for this comeback. Most of the lyrics are about a lost love – breaking up with her, saying goodbye and hoping she’ll be happier without them. But is it really about a girl?

One thing we really admire about CNBLUE is how they’ve been consistently pushing their boundaries with every release. Blueming is the polar opposite of 2gether, dropping their signature sound in favour of breezy ditties perfect for spring. The tunes are definite crowd pleasers for sure, but CNBLUE made ‘em better by adding in their unique flavour. The standout track for us is ‘Stay Sober’, a soft-rock number sung entirely in English. Can we expect an all-English album from CNBLUE soon?

CNBLUE

Junhyeok’s departure left a big hole in the band – not just musically, but emotionally too. Which led to speculations that the MV for ‘Letting Go’ is actually about him. At first glance, it’s all artistic shots of the members and their instruments duplicated in Warhol-esque fashion. But look closer, and you’ll find hints of Junhyeok littered throughout, such as the emphasis on empty keyboards and melancholic lyrics which could totally be talking about the former keyboardist. Cheer up DAY6!

In this MV, we see CNBLUE getting all flustered for a pretty lady – an ironic reversal of roles. Corny lyrics aside (“Were you always this pretty, your personality amazes me twice, your attractive eyes smile at me”), we find it hilarious that she pays no heed to the suave men giving her the googly eyes. Instead, she chooses to interact with other dudes in the vicinity while the rest watch on helplessly. The MV is undeniably a fluff piece, but CNBLUE’s casual mannerisms subtly show us how manly they have become. We dare you not to swoon.

Let’s Get Reel A hopeless romantic? A science nerd? A horror fanatic? We’ve got just the right mix of classic and new cinematic picks for all you moviegoers to load up on during the June holidays. By Chew Hui Ling

For the sci-fi junkie Independence Day: Resurgence (23 June)

The long-awaited sequel to the 1996 cult favourite, Independence Day: Resurgence features a blockbuster cast of the original actors and newcomers, including Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman,

Judd Hirsch and even Angelababy! Twenty years after the first movie, Earth comes under yet another alien invasion, and it’s up to the human race to protect the planet. Those with a penchant for disaster thrillers would definitely love this upcoming flick.

Pacific Rim (2013)

With Pacific Rim 2 due to hit the big screens next year (finally!), why not re-watch the original movie while you wait? Set in the 2020s, the Guillermo del Toro-directed piece sees war between colossal creatures known as Kaijus and gigantic humanoids known as Jaegers, piloted by a pair of humans out to save the world from the apocalypse. Not much is known about the sequel, but one thing’s for certain: you can look forward to more monster-smashing action than the first instalment.

60

Additional text: Sharon Salim

Obsessively passionate over monsters/ aliens/robots and anything intergalactic, you’re a self-proclaimed geek who’s always the first to know about the latest fandom news. You’re incredibly loyal to your favourite movie franchises – yes, even ten years down the road.

As much as we find romantic flicks completely unrealistic, there’s really nothing better than indulging in a feelgood love story or two. Prepare the tissues though – these will make you weep into your popcorn even if you’ve watched ‘em a hundred times.

Distance (2 June)

Produced by homegrown filmmaker Anthony Chen, Distance is a Pan-Asian omnibus project starring Taiwanese heartthrob Chen Bo Lin. It’s said to be

his most career-defining role to date, and we can definitely see why: the actor plays three different characters in three separate stories, switching effortlessly from a businessman, to a young father, to a foreign professor – all to portray the themes of distance between a friend, a family member, and a lover. We hear it’s going to be a real tearjerker, so get ready for an emotional ride.

Dear John (2010)

to Distance, this 2010 box-office hit is a solid contender that’s sure to tug at your heartstrings. Nicholas Spark’s second novel-to-film adaption, Dear John chronicles the long distance romance between a soldier (Channing Tatum) and a goody-two-shoes college student (Amanda Seyfried), who communicated through letters after the former is sent to war. No spoilers here, but prep your tissue boxes!

If you fancy movies of a similar nature

For the romantic at heart

For the horror buff

Armed with an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the scariest horror films in history, you’re one of the rare few who could make it to the end credits without batting an eyelid. To satisfy your morbid fantasies, here are two blood-curling picks guaranteed to give you a good scare.

The Ring vs The Grudge (23 June)

Not gonna lie, we still get the shudders every time someone mentions The Grudge (Ju-on) or The Ring (Ringu) series.

But this upcoming Japanese film is a crossover of both franchises, and that screams more hair-raising horror than you can shake a stick at. The Ring vs The Grudge stars Mizuki Yamamoto as the heroine Yuri, who finds herself caught in the middle of a spirit showdown between Ringu’s Sadako and Ju-on’s Kayako. Question is, why are the two ghouls at each other’s throats? Guess we’ll just to watch and find out… if you don’t chicken out halfway, that is.

Alien vs Predator (2004)

One of the first horror movie crossovers in Hollywood, Alien vs Predator follows the same versus route of The Ring vs The Grudge – only this time, the unlucky ones are a team of archaeologists who walked straight into a battle between the two creatures of the Alien and Predator series. Despite dating back a decade ago, it’s still one classic fright fest not to be missed, especially for those who enjoy their horror with a bit of action and sci-fi.

Round-The-Clock

Boost your mood by integrating some of these simple tips into your daily life.

Happiness Eat well

By Marianne Lim

7AM

If you’re not a morning person, getting out of bed (especially on Mondays) can easily be the most torturous part of the day. Functioning on an empty stomach will only make it worse! Not only will starting the day with a hearty breakfast boost your mood, it will also make you a healthier and smarter individual. Set aside just ten minutes of your morning to relish your early meal and you’ll find yourself walking out the door with a big grin on your face.

Smile

9AM

When you arrive at school, make a conscious effort to put on a smile and give a friendly nod to anyone who passes by. While it seems daunting to interact with a stranger, you’ll instantly feel happier after saying a cheerful hello. Psychologists have proven that smiling increases happiness levels and even pain tolerance – perhaps waking up in the morning wouldn’t be as painful if you smiled a little more.

Take the shot

11AM

Be on the lookout for something that makes you happy today and snap a photo of it. It doesn’t need to be something particularly exciting or eventful. If you had a good conversation with your best friend over a delicious brunch or saw a particularly beautiful sunrise, take a photo to remember the occasion. At the end of the year, whip out these pictures and reminisce in those enjoyable moments.

68

3PM

Go on an adventure

Once you’re done with school or work for the day, round up your best friends and embark on an adventure. Going on an adventure doesn’t always mean gallivanting away to faraway places – it can be as simple as checking out a new cafe or picking up a hobby together. When the school holidays roll around, you can even plan for a short getaway with your family to eat the best food in Penang or shop till you drop in Bangkok!

5PM

Get some air

Everybody knows that exercise is good for you; not only does it bring numerous health benefits, but it also improves your mood due to the release of endorphins. Just taking a short 10-minute walk and spending time outdoors can lift your spirits. You’ll start seeing positive changes in no time.

6PM

Spend time with family

Eating dinner together as a family is becoming a less common practice in this day and age, but it is vital to make time for your loved ones. This is clearly highlighted through The Grant Study, where over 200 males were studied throughout their lifetime to determine factors that contributed to life satisfaction. The study showed that the happiest men had one thing in common: strong relationships with their family. Need we say more?

11PM

Catch some sleep

It’s difficult to get eight hours of sleep with all the impending assignments and project deadlines. However, running on little or no sleep is not the way to go! We know from firsthand experience that pulling all-nighters guarantees that you’ll be extremely cranky and grumpy from sleep deprivation in the morning. We suggest practicing good time management, cutting down on coffee and setting a strict 10pm bedtime to ensure you’re refreshed and ready for the next day – end the day right, to start the next one even better.

Not only do you build your core and improve your balance training, learning the fundamentals of SUP provides you with a stepping stone to mastering other water sports including windsurfing, wakeboarding and dragon boating.

Gemini

(21 May – 21 Jun) Brace up Gemini – while you’ve gotten away with depending on others for even the littlest of things, you’ll soon realise the implications of how sheltered you’ve become. It’s going to be a bumpy ride, but stepping out of your comfort zone and learning how to be independent will pay off in time to come. You can do it!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Gemini! ( 20 May – 21 June )

Cancer

(22 Jun – 22 Jul)

From schoolwork to your personal life, everything has been going so smoothly that Lady Luck must be smiling on you. But don’t take it for granted; cutting corners instead of putting in extra time and effort as you usually do will end in disastrous results once your luck runs out.

Leo

(23 Jul – 22 Aug) You’ve been feeling overwhelmed thanks to adjustments you’ve had to make recently, and all the stressing has you on the brink of a meltdown. Take some time this month to take a well-deserved breather and to let yourself recalibrate – your mind and body will thank you for it.

Virgo

Libra

(23 Aug – 22 Sep)

(23 Sep – 22 Oct)

You’ve been spending so much time on the Internet lately that it’s been keeping you from being productive. Take a break from social media – it’s easier said than done, but you’ll be amazed when what you see outside is better than your friend’s brunch on Instagram.

This is one of those months that starts out well and keeps getting better. You are in top form and your efficiency will put you ahead of the game. However, your achievements might cause envy among your peers so don’t let the smooth ride get to your head. Be humble and you’ll do great.

Scorpio

Sagittarius

(23 Oct – 21 Nov)

(22 Nov – 21 Dec)

There’s someone you’re harbouring good feelings for, but you’re still not sure whether you truly like this person. You mightn’t notice it, but you’ve been sending mixed signals. Stop beating around the bush and decide on how you really feel. Even if you two aren’t meant to be, you can still be friends!

June sees you at your creative best, and your artistic streak will inspire others to do the same. Don’t let the lack of confidence hold you back from realising your full potential. Take the opportunity to pick up a craft or two; your natural talent at it might surprise you!

Capricorn

(22 Dec – 19 Jan) Lots of new endeavours are coming up for you, but be aware that in your excitement to go after everything you want, you could bite off more than you can chew. Know your limits and stay within them – there’ll be bigger and better opportunities in the future!

Aquarius

Pisces

(20 Jan – 18 Feb)

(19 Feb – 20 Mar)

You’ve been experiencing a rocky patch in your relationship recently. You may not be the type to confront things head-on, but letting your frustrations pile up will only lead to more problems. Find a chance to sit down and talk it through. You’ll feel much better when things are out in the open.

Have you been at loggerheads with someone recently? Bearing grudges are never healthy, and it’ll just cause more harm to you than the other party. Make a genuine effort to patch things up and you’ll feel much better after releasing the built-up tension.

Aries

(21 Mar – 19 Apr)

You’ll be somewhat impatient and irritable this month, but remember that good things come to those who wait. Being a typical Aries, the big challenge for you is to watch what you say and hold back on your impulsive desires. Take a few deep breaths and clear your mind – you’ll find yourself more centered and in control.

Taurus

(20 Apr – 20 May) You’ve been going through a rough time recently, but you’re lucky enough to have friends who will always be there for you. Stop brushing away their concerns and start accepting their help. These are the ones who truly care about you, and will stick by you through thick and thin – don’t let ‘em down.
