• Leave the class more confident and inspired about your essays — and with some writing strategies you can use for the rest of your life.

Our instructors are all talented writers and skilled teachers with extensive experience shepherding students through the college essay process.

This virtual class will be capped at 16 students — enough that we will have a wealth of ideas and perspectives — but small enough to ensure personalized daily attention from your instructor every day.

We will focus primarily on the Common Application essay, but you may also work on other college essays, supplementals, and scholarship applications.

We have been offering our program for eight years, mostly to students in Palo Alto, California. Now that we are offering our course online, we have enjoyed welcoming students from all over the country. Our students leave our program with less stress, a clearer understanding of what the colleges want, and a college essay draft that makes them proud. Our students have been accepted at many top-tier universities.
