2. Build Your First Webpage

Objectives

In this session, students will build their first webpage.

● Web Page: A hypertext document viewable in a browser used to display information

Revise the <html>, <title>, <body>, <p>, heading tags

● Say: Do you remember what we learned in the previous session?

● Invite responses from some students.

● Revise the concepts learned in the previous class.

● Show slides one by one and discuss the concepts shown on the slide in the panel.

● Discuss the Quiz questions given ion the Panel.

● Invite answers from as many students as possible.

● Address if students have any other doubts related to the concepts presented in the slides.

● Say: Now, let’s practise our learnings. Click on the Coding Assignment option to attempt the activity.

● Walk around in the classroom and observe the activity done by the students.

● Conclude: Today, we have built our first webpage.

● Assign the following project as Homework:

■ Build a web page which has the following elements-

❍ Title – “My school”

❍ Heading – Your school’s name

❍ Body – Write two lines about your school
