How RealtyTrust Auctions Work BECOMING A CLIENT Once your property has been approved, you receive a RealtyTrust Auction Listing Agreement. After you approve and sign the document, our marketing professionals will get straight to work developing a specific plan for your home’s demographic and property type. This will also include a media plan for advertising in venues that will offer maximum exposure and results.

THE PROCESS The “showing period” for your property typically takes place on the sale date approximately two to three hours prior to the auction. During this time, our experienced staff will be on-hand to cater to prospective bidders and their inspectors, allowing for ample opportunities to tour and answer questions. The rest of the process is efficient and smooth: • Bidders will begin registering a few hours before the designated auction time. • RealtyTrust experts will circulate among bidders to answer questions before the auctioneer explains the terms of your auction. • Before the live auction begins, the auctioneer will provide an example of the bidding process to familiarize the audience with bid calling. • Once the live auction takes place and the winning bidder is recognized, RealtyTrust staff will meet with you and the successful bidder to sign a contingency-free sales contract and arrange for closing, which is typically within 30 days.
