Group Ja Sports & Racing cars with a competition history prior to the end of 1930

Group Jb Specials built at any time, using components from the period, prior to the end of 1930

Group Ka Sports & Racing cars with a competition history between 1931 & 1940

Group Kb Specials built at any time, using components from the period between 1931 & 1940

Group Sa Production Sports Cars, without a competition history, manufactured by the end of 1960

Group Sb Production Sports Cars, without a competition history, generally manufactured 1961 - 1969

Group Sc Production Sports Cars, without a competition history, generally manufactured 1970 - 1977

Group Lb Racing & Sports Cars 1941 - 1960

Group M Racing & Sports Cars 1961 - 1965

Group Nb Production Touring Cars manufactured before the end of 1964

Group Nc Production Touring Cars of a type that were raced in Australia before the end of 1972

Group A & Group C Cars which satisfy the eligibility requirements for Australian Group C Touring cars as promulgated by CAMS from 1973 to 1984 & from 1984 to 1992 inclusive.

F5000 Formula 5000 racing cars: Pre 1978

Group Q Racing, Sports racing cars, Clubman and production sports cars with a competion history 1970 - 1977

Group R Racing, Sports racing, Sports 1300 and production sports cars with a competion history from 1978 to a variety of cut-off dates for different period classes, generally around the mid - 1980s

Historic Formula Ford Groups: Fa - pre 1978, Fb - 1978-1983, Fc - 1984-1989

Formula Vee Group Va 1 Jan 1965 and 31 Dec 1974 Group Vb 1 Jan 1975 and 31 Dec1985.

Regularity Generally open to cars of the 5th category (Historics) but other vehicles may be permitted subject to agreement by the Event Organisers & CAMS
