André Breit (pronounced bright Born - Deutschland -1957 Arrived Oz - 1969 Became involved with Datsun car in 1980. Restored a 2000 for the road over four years and participated in Regularity first at Amaroo in 1997. Got the regular bug and agreed with friends to rebuild a car that we had as spares for Group S - the” GREEN MACHINE” . We first put this car on the track in 2003 as a 1600 in regularity, having obtained authority by the CAMS representative at the time, to change it to a 2000 later. It has been participating as a 2 Lit (1987cc) since 2013. Overall the car and I have participated in 71 historic event at 8 race venues in four states. I have served the racing fraternity as a committee member for the GSRA and the HSRCA. I live happily in Sydney with my wife Julia, two Datsun's Fairladies, a Toyota and a Ford Territory.
