Currently, one of the main problems of every Filipino is the effort to cultivate the proper use of their language. It may not be that easy because it seems to have become a challenge due to the spread of the modernization system and enjoying foreign culture. It has a massive impact on everyone’s relationship, especially in learning and socializing. This also causes us to gradually forget our native language. We must be responsible for giving importance to our language to facilitate our communication.

However, we should not take learning our language for granted because as Filipinos there are many ways we can help to appreciate our language. The continuous expansion of our research knowledge in the Filipino language is a great help to enrich it. Despite the emergence of foreign languages in our country, young people studying should understand the responsible way to discuss the Filipino language. We should also know that having own language serves as a bridge to understand each other. This will be a way to improve the course of our economy if we all understand each other.

With the continuous spread of modern technologies and the extension of the modernization of our language, it seems to result in the weakening of the vocabulary regarding the correct way to use our language. So, we must study the history of our language because it has a great impact on our communication with different aspects of society. We must pay attention to the current state of our language to fully understand its main role in us as Filipinos. Let’s try to cultivate ourselves in the proper use of our language so that we don’t become ignorant in our country.

As a Filipino citizens, we have a great responsibility to appreciate the treasure that dates back to our ancestors, the Filipino language.
