BA SANG I SL AND ECO -TOUR I SM RESO RT Description: Ba Sang Island Eco-Tourism Resort is a proposal project in 2011 for a design competition seeking design ideas for an isle in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The client’s demand is creating a various activities in a resort at the same time preserving the beautiful nature. The main design task is to make sure occupants have chance to experience numerous activities but in the same time the natural environment is well preserved. Location: Ho Chi Minh City Year: 2011
CAO BANG HE A DQUA RTERS DEPA RTM ENT O F STATI STI CS
Description: Cao Bang Office of Statistic is a building that strictly follows the construction, financial regulations but in the same time brings aesthetics to a government building. The chosen idea is geometric massing in order to create a modern appearance. Location: Cao Bang city, Cao Bang Province Year: 2012
L A VO NG W EDDI NG PAL ACE’S HE A D O FFI CE Description: This is an administrative office building for La Vong Wedding Palace Company. The building incorporates office spaces for 20 employees and a spacious customer’s service space which also hosts activities for weddings. A triangular glass block plays the role are not only as a focal point but also as a semi opacity transparent screen view from the main road to the inner garden inside. The west facade is featured with a double-layered screen using glass and wooden slats to prevent the heat from sunlight. Location: Trung Hoa, Hanoi Year: 2012
ROW HOUSE Description: Research model for ventilation, sun protection and interior space of a 5x20m row house. The main idea is making a “ wind trap” toward a good direction to catch more cool air flowing through the house. Location: Hanoi Year: 2012
I NTER I O R PRO JECTS 1 Description: “Pop art� apartment for young family with parents and a 4-year-old son. A special playing space for the kid, made from wood, covered in colourful tile patterns - acts as the focal point of the entire apartment. The bright and modest wood material of built-in furniture balances the vibrant colors in wall and fabric creating a joyful home. Year: 2011
I NTER I O R PRO JECTS 2 Description: Rock Music Bar is a place for live music and drinks. The entrance is a “hall of fame� immersing customers in a hard rock atmosphere then the view is widened dramatically to a large stage room at the end of the corridor. The main language of the design is the combination of scratch texture effect and metal colour. Year: 2011
HO I AN I NFO R M ATI O N CENTER Description: A joint project administrated by UNESCO and Hoi An Cultural and Tourism Center. The task of the project is to create a place that functions as an information center and an exhibition space that presents traditional products of the Hoi An region.The main design strategy is to use local architectural language to establish a harmony between the old town and the new building. Location: Nguyen Hue str., Hoi An acient town. Year: 2013
URBAN CO FFEE Description: Urban Coffee is a friendly take-away coffee shop locate within Hanoi Old Quarter. The main idea is to simulate a bus stop, customers are citizens waiting for their bus - a cup of urban coffee. The project includes interior and branding design. According to client’s needs, 1st floor is the most important area including a bar and waiting seats. The 2nd floor is a cozy space for groups. Location: Cua Bac str., Hanoi Year: 2013

RESI DENTA I L I NTER I O R Above: Living - dinning room of a residence at 6th floor of Trung Hoa building. Elegant space but not gaudy is the design goal. Below: Living room of Phung Khoang villa. According to client’s personality, a glass wall was designed to open the view as wide as possible to a large vertical garden. The nature stone backdrop of tivi shelf play a role as a elegent focal point. Year: 2014

The master bedroom is relocated in order to create a continuous spcae incorporating kitchen, living room and working space. The bathroom is widened to expand the closet space and the amount of sunlight. Location: Times city, Hanoi Year: 2014

In order to satisfy user’s need, the space was modified to maximize usable space of the kitchen. The hallway leads to bedroom becomes more private, the master bathroom become an open space to attract more natural light. The spatial modification brings a block covered by glossy ceramic tiles plays the role as a focal point for the whole space. Location: Star city, Hanoi Year: 2014
