We are delighted to announce that EIC members can now choose the entire Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region for EICAssetMap access as a primary membership option. Members can now access and monitor asset data and O&M opportunities for EMEA, giving you unparalleled insight into the OPEX landscape for the region as a whole. EIC members will also be able to select Australasia EICAssetMap as a bolt-on onto your existing EIC membership in just two weeks, bringing you asset data in the oil and gas, renewables, power and nuclear sectors for the entire continent. You may also have noticed the launch of the EIC’s most highly anticipated event of the year – the Energy Exports Conference. Taking place on screen once again and free to attend for all companies with the option to upgrade at a small fee, vEEC 2021 promises to be packed full of exciting export opportunities from around the world with a focus on clean tech and decommissioning opportunities. Our EIC analysts have been keeping busy this month, with two new EIC Country Reports now available for EIC members to download for free in EICDataStream, focusing on Guyana and Suriname. These fast-growing neighbouring markets in South America hold enormous oil and gas reserves, and with supermajor ExxonMobil leading the way, there are vast opportunities for overseas supply chain companies to explore. We are very excited to announce ExxonMobil as a new member of the EIC, a landmark achievement for us as we welcome operators and developers into membership for the first time. ExxonMobil launches its LNG Power Play awards on 6 April, celebrating the accomplishments of remarkable women and men who uphold the importance of supporting and empowering others in the workplace. The awards shine a light on how a mutually supportive environment can help support great business outcomes across all parts of the LNG value chain. In this edition of Inside Energy, EIC Energy Analyst Sharanya Kumaramurthy looks at the Spanish solar PV sector, which has grown into one of the fastest growing European PV markets following the EU’s pledge to install 209GW by 2030. We also spoke to Åsa Gilbert, International Business Development Manager at EIC member company SafeLane Global, who highlights the work it does in de-risking energy projects in the lucrative and growing market of Mozambique.
