BP will target a final investment decision in Q4 2022 for Phase 2 of the project. Strong progress on the Phase 1 development is enabling the advancement of the second phase project.
US Permian Basin Direct Air Capture Project
Operator: 1PointFive Value: US$500m
1PointFive has awarded Worley the FEED contract for the DAC 1 project. The FEED phase, set to commence in H1 2021, will focus on the first train which will capture 500,000 metric tonnes of CO2 annually.

NIGERIA Ashama Solar Plant
Operator: Sunnyfred Global Value: US$300m
Deployment of a 200MW solar farm located on about 304 hectares of land in Ashama, Nigeria. Sunnyfred Global has signed an agreement with B&S Power Holding PTE for the financing and construction of the power plant.
Operator: Equinor Value: US$400m
A project to modify the Troll B and C platforms to accommodate powerfrom-shore. Aker Solutions has been awarded a letter of intent for topside modifications to Troll B and C for when the platforms are electrified. The contract value is stated at between NOK2 and 3bn.
RUSSIA Seversk Nuclear Power Plant
Operator: Rosenergoatom Value: US$5.6bn
Construction of a nuclear power plant with overall capacity of 2,400MW. A licence has been issued to the Siberian Chemical Combine to construct a BREST-OD-300 reactor at the site. It will be the world’s first experimental demonstration power unit featuring a lead-cooled fast neutron reactor.
