The fun continues Friday night with the ACC Night of Legends. The event, which is a ticketed event available to the public, will honor ACC gridiron greats – past & present at the Charlotte Convention Center. The event includes a cocktail reception, a dinner program, saluting Award Winners and Legends, and a post-program dessert reception with entertainment. Gameday will bring a whole new level of excitement to the ACC Football Championship weekend, kicking off with ACC FanFest, presented by the Official Corporate Partners of the ACC. This pregame destination, free and open to all game ticket holders, will feature everything you need to get ready for the big game. From hospitality, food and beverages to interactive games, pep rallies, autograph signings and much more including a concert featuring country superstars Montgomery Gentry. Come on out and be a part of the exciting 48-hour celebration surrounding the 2010 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship.

As another exciting Dr Pepper Atlantic Coast Conference Championship Game approaches, fans will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of special events over the course of the weekend. The festivities kick off on Thursday night with the Annual Uptown Tree Lighting Ceremony. This event, which is free to the public, will include appearances by ACC mascots and special guests.

Get ready as the Official Corporate Partners of the ACC bring you ACC FanFest. This will be one of the biggest events of the weekend. ACC FanFest will encompass a large area of interactive games, mascots, pep rallies, Corporate Partner attractions and giveaways, food/beverages, autograph opportunities with ACC Legends and entertainment all day long! ACC FanFest kicks off Saturday at 12 noon and will run until 7pm. All activities take place outdoors (rain or shine) adjacent to Bank of America Stadium along Mint and Graham Streets. Two very special musical acts highlight the day. Bridgette Tatum, performer of this year’s ACC Football theme song “Loud” kicks things off. Headlining the event at 5:30 pm will be country music stars Montgomery Gentry…playing a FREE show for ACC fans!

There are more than 30,000 parking spaces within a 10-15 minute walk of the stadium.

LYnX

The LYNX Blue Line www.charmeck. org/Departments/CATS/LYNX/home.htm offers fast, quiet, convenient light-rail service between uptown Charlotte and I-485 at

South Boulevard. Parking is available at seven park and ride lots along the line. Stops at the Carson, Stonewall and Convention Center stations put you within blocks of the stadium.

taxi service

Game day taxi service is located two blocks northeast of Bank of America Stadium on Church Street between First and Stonewall streets. Please proceed to the taxi cab stand at this location after the game if you need the services of a taxi.

tailgating Guidelines

Tailgating activities can create special risks to public safety due to the use of multiple open-flame cooking devices in close proximity to people, vehicles, buildings, structures and combustible vegetation. These guidelines are established to provide a set of minimum safety measures to be followed by persons wishing to engage in such activities. • Open-flame cooking devices shall not be operated within 25 feet of any building or structure and not within 10 feet of any motor vehicle. • A minimum clearance of 10 feet shall be maintained between any open-flame cooking device and dry vegetation, combustible materials, trash dumpsters or receptacles, or in close proximity to anything that can create a fire hazard. • Any parking area or lot being used for parking and tailgating activities shall be provided with metal containers for the safe disposal of coals, cinders or hot ashes. Containers shall be clearly labeled “For Coal and Ash Disposal Only.” Any other trash receptacle or container shall not be used for such purpose. • Every effort shall be made to ensure that any coals or cinders are extinguished prior to disposal. • Open-flame cooking devices shall be attended at all times and shall not be used in parking decks or in any manner that will impede pedestrian or vehicle traffic. • Any other type of outdoors burning or open fire, which is not part of a cooking device, is strictly prohibited. pOlicies & infOrmatiOn alcohol policy

Fans who consume alcohol are encouraged to drink responsibly. Patrons who are obviously intoxicated will not be admitted into the stadium. All alcohol sales require a picture ID as proof of age. You must be at least 21-years-old to purchase alcohol. Only two beers will be sold at any one purchase per person. Alcohol will be sold on the Club Level only and is not permitted to leave the Club Level.

Banners

The Atlantic Coast Conference may allow a limited number of banners, subject to stadium management approval. In addition, stadium management reserves the right to prohibit banners due to space availability, banner size or message content. Banner messages should be football related.

Behavior policy

To insure that all fans have a pleasant game day experience, each patron should act responsibly and be considerate of others. Fans should also be sensitive to the behavior of their guests. Rules of conduct are printed on the back of each ticket.

Stadium security personnel will respond to complaints of misconduct. Fans who fail to comply with stadium policy after being warned will be subject to ejection or arrest. Multiple violations may result in revocation of ticket privileges. Whether or not certain types of behavior or acts are inappropriate or offensive to others may depend on one’s perspective and values. Stadium management reserves the right to deem an act or exhibited behavior to be inappropriate based on available information and circumstances and take appropriate action.

Small still cameras are permitted in the stadium. Camcorders and video cameras are only permitted for credentialed individuals. Tripods or any other similar equipment that could be a tripping hazard are not permitted.

children

Bank of America Stadium was designed for fans of all ages. Please note that every child over the age of 12 months is required to have a game ticket to enter the stadium. Any child under the age of 12 months admitted without a ticket must share a seat with an accompanying adult.


First aid

In the event of a medical emergency, please notify one of the event staff or police officers in your area. Carolinas Medical Center emergency care stations are located on the 100 level across from sections 109-110 and 133-134, on the 300 level across from suite 310A and on the 500 level across from sections 511-512 and 543-544. Registered nurses, doctors and paramedic units are on duty.

Lost and Found

• Containers for medical supplies or special food items for diabetics • Fanny packs • Flags - but not those on poles or sticks • Pocketbooks, purses, tote bags and small bags smaller than 8” x 10” x 14” in size

Fans are encouraged not to bring bags with them unless absolutely necessary, as our goal is to get people in the stadium as quickly as possible.

To ensure that all fans have a safe and enjoyable visit to Bank of America Stadium, the following items are not permitted in the stadium: • Alcoholic beverages • baby seats • bags larger than 8”x10”x14” • balloons • beach balls • Coolers or containers, including cans and bottles • explosives • Fireworks • Folding chairs • Food and beverages, except two (2) sealed plastic non-flavored water bottles per person • horns, bells, whistles and other noise makers • illegal drugs • laser pointers • Pets, except service animals assisting those with disabilities • strollers • tape recorders • Umbrellas • video equipment • Weapons of any kind, including those carried with a permit • other items that in the judgment of stadium management pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of an event by other patrons. • Any item larger than 8” x 10” x 14” will not be permitted in the stadium.

Prohibited items that are discovered during security inspections at the stadium entrances must be either returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded. Unlawful items that are discovered during security inspections are subject to confiscation, and the person in possession of those items is subject to arrest. Any prohibited item discovered inside the stadium is subject to confiscation. items that will be permitted but will be inspected at the gates prior to entry: • Diaper bags (baby must be with the parent or guardian and bag must be smaller than 8” x 10” x 14”) • binocular and camera cases

You may bring a small portable radio or television with you to the stadium as long as you listen with an earpiece or headphones. Persons leaving the stadium during an event will not be permitted to reenter.

Only service animals for guests with disabilities are allowed in the stadium.

smoking policy

Bank of America Stadium is a smoke-free facility. Fans who fail to comply with this policy after the appropriate warning will be subject to ejection.

stadium Gates

There are three main gates to Bank of America Stadium: • North Gate - located off Graham Street • East Gate - located off Mint Street • South Gate - located off Morehead Street All entrances comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and are equipped to accommodate guests with disabilities.

tag-a-Kid program

All guests who would like to register their child for the Tag-A-Kid Program may do so at any of the 100 level concourse Guest Relations Booths. The child will receive a wristband with his/her seat location. If the child becomes lost, the wristband will give an event staff employee or police officer the necessary information to escort the child back to his/her seat. If a parent is not there, the child will be taken to the Public Safety Office.

Public telephones are available to all patrons at the stadium. Phones are located at all six Guest Relations Booths on the 100 and 500, and at concierge booths located at the Club Level. Local calls are free of charge, and fans may use a credit card to make long distance calls.

music venues

The Music Factory on the edge of Fourth Ward is an entertainment complex (with FREE PARKING!) featuring bars, restaurants and dance clubs as well as live music venues. Butter, Black Bear Saloon, Halo, Crobar and Wet Willies keep you refreshed and fed while the music rocks at Fillmore, Road Runner Amphitheater and Front Stage. The Visulite Theatre and Neighborhood Theatre present live music in small, intimate settings. The atmosphere is relaxed, casual and acoustically appealing.

parks, Greenways and tours

The Uptown offers two public parks and two greenways suitable for strolling, biking, picnicking or people watching. Marshall Park in Second Ward and Fourth Ward Park are ideal for dining al fresco or quiet conversation. Little Sugar Creek Greenway in Midtown invites strollers and Irwin Creek and Stewart Creek Greenways provide 2.6 miles of paved and gravel paths for walking, jogging, biking or even roller-skating. alcohol Laws The legal drinking age in North Carolina is 21. Alcoholic beverages may be served until 2am standard or daylight time. All alcoholic beverages are sold in state-controlled “ABC” stores, except for beer and wine, which may be purchased in wine specialty shops or convenience and grocery stores. All alcoholic beverages sold in a restaurant/bar must be consumed on the premises.

Bus and Gold Rush circulator: The main city bus terminal is located in the 200 block of East Trade St. CATS also operates the Gold Rush, a free trolley bus service that services the center city area. LYnX Light Rail service: The LYNX Blue Line is the Charlotte region’s first light rail service. It operates from I-485 at South Boulevard to Uptown Charlotte. With 15 stations including seven park and ride locations, the LYNX Blue Line provides a congestion- free commute with a consistent travel time. Trains will operate seven days a week from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., and service is available every 7.5 minutes during weekday rush hour and every 15 minutes during non-peak hours. During weekday evenings the Blue Line will operate every 30 minutes. Weekend service will operate every 20 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes during late night hours. taxi service Charlotte is served by several taxi companies. The flat rate from the airport to the center city is $20 for the first two people. Additional charges apply for extra people.

charlotte collegiate Football, a non-profit organization, runs the Meineke Car Care Bowl and serves as the local organizing committee for the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game. Will Webb serves as the Executive Director of the organization. Will Webb, executive director

The Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game, in its sixth year, will be played in Charlotte December 4, 2010. The winner of the championship earns the ACC bid to play in the Discover Orange Bowl, if not selected for the BCS National Championship Game. The 2010 Meineke Car Care Bowl will be played on Friday, December 31 at 12 noon. It features a matchup of the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Big East Conference.
