The Scientific Breakthrough The secret to perfect hair lies in a particular amino acid called cysteine. Cysteines and other amino acids are the building blocks of proteins (like keratin), which are fundamental to hair health. Our new system adds more cysteine to the hair, so that under the correct pH and temperature conditions we can rearrange some of the cysteine bridges. Heating the hair after the treatment locks in the formula, fusing the bonds to optimise shine and remove frizz.

The beauty of pHrizzy-o-therapy is that we take a whole new hair approach to the long term ease of eliminating frizz in one simple shampooing step. This is a great addition to your salon menu as it can be applied at the backwash or at the chair by apprentices and stylists in the same way as applying a toner, with a 30 minute developing time (For afro / textured hair leave on for 50 minutes) Offer the treatment as an upgrade to any of your services. As this treatment doesn’t straighten the hair, the client can wear their hair as they desire, after the first wash. This service allows for all of your clients to have this treatment, as opposed to the 8-10% of your clients that have a keratin blow dry.

Directions of use STEP ONE Clarify the hair 2-3 times (depending on how porous the hair is) with the cleansing shampoo. STEP TWO DO NOT dry the hair, just remove the excess water.

STEP THREE Shake the pHrizzy-o-therapy bottle well before use. Apply the pHrizzy-o-therapy just as you would a normal shampoo. Use approx 15ml - 35ml depending on the length and thickness of the hair. Section the hair and comb the shampoo through the hair. STEP FOUR Leave on the hair for 30 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with water. If you require a straighter result put under heat for the 30 minute development time. For afro / textured hair, leave for 50 minutes and iron the hair up to 14 times. Cleansing Shampoo
STEP FIVE Blow dry hair and then Iron 5-8 times at 180°-230° depending on the condition of the hair. NOTES Clients can wash their hair whenever they like.

How long will the results last for? The longevity depends on your lifestyle. It usually lasts 10-12 weeks. We encourage using our hair care range to prolong and maintain your perfect hair. Should I colour my hair before or after pHrizzy-o-therapy? It’s better to apply colour after having pHrizzy-o-therapy as it is suitable for colour treated hair.. You can have the colour done on the same day but it is better to wait at least 48 hours. Does pHrizzy-o-therapy repair damaged hair?
