Nurturing Health

Protein, an essential macronutrient, serves as a cornerstone of health. From supporting muscle repair to regulating hormones, its importance cannot be understated—especially for women. Yet, despite its significance, many women fail to meet their optimal protein intake. Here is why focusing on protein-rich foods can transform women’s health.
Protein plays a key role in muscle repair and growth. As women age, muscle loss, known as sarcopenia, increasingly impacts mobility and strength. Adequate protein intake, combined with regular strength training, helps preserve muscle mass and functional ability, supporting an active and independent lifestyle.
Hormones affect many aspects of women’s health, including mood and metabolism. Protein, composed of amino acids, supports hormone production and regulation. Adequate protein intake helps balance hormones, especially during key life stages such as menstruation, pregnancy and menopause. It serves as a natural ally for navigating hormonal changes.
Protein is often overlooked in discussions about bone health—but it deserves more attention. This vital nutrient supports the formation and repair of bones while enhancing calcium absorption. Women, who are at greater risk of osteoporosis as they age, can benefit significantly from protein-rich diets. Together with calcium, protein strengthens muscles and bones, potentially improving balance and lowering the risk of falls.
Protein supports weight management by increasing satiety and reducing overeating. Unlike carbohydrates or fats, digesting protein requires more energy, resulting in calorie expenditure. For women aiming to lose or maintain weight, incorporating protein can curb hunger and help sustain a stable metabolic rate.
Protein is fundamental to building antibodies and immune cells, strengthening the body’s defenses. During life stressors, such as pregnancy or breastfeeding, a strong immune system becomes crucial.
How much protein should women consume? The Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) is 0.8 g of protein per kilogram of body weight for women aged 19 and older. For example, a woman weighing 65 kg requires approximately 52 grams of protein daily. However, during pregnancy, the requirement increases to 1.1 g per kilogram of body weight, and during lactation, it rises to 1.3 g per kilogram. Consulting a healthcare professional is recommended to determine individual protein requirements.
Protein is available from various sources, including lean meats, fish, eggs, and dairy. Plant-based options such as peas, lentils, quinoa, and nuts also provide high-quality protein. Focus on consuming nutrient-rich “protein packages” that offer additional vitamins and minerals while limiting processed carbohydrates and saturated fats.

Garlic, a culinary staple, boasts a rich history of medicinal use. While fresh garlic offers undeniable health benefits, garlic supplements, such as GarlicAIM, provide a convenient and standardized approach to harnessing its therapeutic power. For those seeking targeted health support or who find fresh garlic unpalatable, these supplements can be a valuable addition to a wellness regimen.
GarlicAIM contains concentrated forms of garlic’s key bioactive compounds, primarily allicin and its derivatives. Allicin, the compound responsible for garlic’s distinctive aroma, exhibits potent antioxidant and inflammation-fighting properties. Supplementation provides a consistent dose, overcoming the variability found in fresh garlic’s allicin content, which fluctuates based on growing conditions and preparation methods.
One of the most compelling benefits of garlic supplements is their potential to support cardiovascular health. Studies have shown that garlic supplementation can contribute to healthy cholesterol levels and blood pressure management.¹ This is particularly relevant for individuals looking to maintain
heart health without the pungent aftertaste of raw garlic. Furthermore, garlic supplements have demonstrated immune-boosting effects, potentially enhancing the body’s defense.²
Benefits and Features
• Elevates ATP levels in cells, blood, and tissues
• Increases energy levels and reduces fatigue
• Stimulates blood flow to peripheral sites
• Supports cardiovascular and respiratory health
• Improves muscle growth, strength and recovery for peak athletic performance

Aged garlic extract, a common form found in supplements, undergoes a process that diminishes allicin while increasing stable compounds like S-allyl cysteine. This form is often preferred for its milder odor and enhanced antioxidant activity. This process also reduces the likelihood of digestive upset, a common complaint with high doses of fresh garlic.
• Helps maintain proper muscle function and support connective tissue formation
Before starting any new supplement, consult your healthcare provider, especially if you are taking medications. Garlic may interact with blood thinners and other drugs. Incorporating a high-quality garlic supplement into your routine can help unlock garlic’s potential for enhanced well-being.

GarlicAIM, for example, is formulated to provide a consistent dose of beneficial compounds. However, it is crucial to remember that supplements are not a substitute for a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. They can, however, provide targeted support for specific health goals.

Excellent customer service is the backbone of any successful business, especially in the world of online health and wellness products. For My AIM Store Members, providing outstanding customer service can significantly enhance customer satisfaction, foster loyalty, and boost your store’s reputation. That’s why it’s essential to handle customer service effectively to ensure your customers keep coming back.
The first step to effective customer service is understanding your customer’s needs and expectations. This means knowing not just what they buy, but why they buy it. When you understand the goals or problems of your customers, you can create targeted solutions that address their specific health concerns with the AIM products you provide. This deeper understanding allows you to anticipate questions and provide helpful and informed responses that enhance their shopping experience.
Your customers must find it easy to contact you whenever they need assistance. Ensure your My AIM Store includes clearly visible contact information, including an email address, contact form, and if possible, a phone number. The quicker and easier it is for customers to reach you, the more satisfied they are likely to be with your customer service.
In the digital age, customers expect quick responses. A slow reply can often be just as damaging as no reply at all. Set clear expectations for response times, and make sure you meet them. If possible, respond to inquiries within 24 hours. Even if you need more time to resolve an issue, let the customer know you’ve received their query and are working on it. This kind of acknowledgment can go a long way in maintaining customer trust.
Customer service interactions are not always straightforward and can sometimes be challenging, especially when dealing with complaints or dissatisfaction. It’s crucial to maintain a positive, polite, and professional attitude at all times. Your ability to stay calm and courteous can defuse potential conflicts and lead to better resolutions. Remember, every interaction is an opportunity to reinforce your store’s reputation for quality service.
Effective communication is key to successful customer service. Use clear and concise language when addressing customer inquiries or concerns. Avoid industry jargon that might confuse your customers. Make sure all communication is easy to understand and provides all the necessary information. This includes confirming details of what will happen next if you’re resolving an issue, explaining product benefits, or detailing usage instructions.
When a customer faces an issue, how quickly and effectively you resolve it can make or break their trust in your business. Have a structured process in place for handling complaints or problems. This might involve steps like immediately acknowledging the issue, investigating the cause, discussing solutions with the customer, and following up to ensure the resolution was satisfactory. Keeping the customer informed throughout the process is vital.
Customer feedback, whether positive or negative, is incredibly valuable. It provides insights into what you’re doing well and where you might improve. Encourage customers to share their experiences and suggestions, and make it easy for them to do so through follow-up emails, surveys, or a feedback section on your website. Actively acting on this feedback demonstrates to customers that their opinions are valued and can lead to meaningful improvements in your service.
Customer service isn’t just about responding to questions and resolving issues. It’s about creating an environment where customers feel valued, respected, and satisfied with their shopping experience. By understanding your customers, being accessible, communicating clearly, and continuously improving based on feedback, you can build a loyal customer base that will support your My AIM Store for years to come. Remember, in the world of online sales, excellent customer service is one of the most powerful tools you have to differentiate your store from the competition. Our dear friend, George, was a shining example of a life well lived. We were privileged to have known him for 37 of his nearly 87 years. Over the years, we built countless fond memories with George and his wife, Muriel, during our times together.
As key Members of our AIM team, George and Muriel were exceptional partners. We collaborated at home meetings, health and trade shows, as well as at various other events, including our Super Saturdays. George contributed significantly by assisting in the creation of flyers, displays, and occasionally speaking or sharing a humorous anecdote during our meetings. Beyond our professional partnership, we also shared many enjoyable meals and heartfelt conversations.
George had a generous spirit and a remarkable ability to bring joy to others wherever he went. He would often pop a CD, DVD, or written article in our mailbox, believing it was something we would enjoy. Several handmade wooden items in our home serve as cherished reminders of his craftsmanship and love for us. He also loved sharing the maple syrup he and his son, Scott, produced. If he and Muriel were driving to an AIM conference, his car was always well-stocked with this sweet treat. Even more so, he shared the sweet love of Jesus at every opportunity. George would want all his AIM Family to know, “Oh so sweet to trust in Jesus.”
George had a unique way of connecting with people he met. He always enjoyed sharing good clean jokes at our AIM meetings and church socials, consistently brightening the atmosphere. His humor and cheerful outlook reflected the healthy mental attitude of AIM’s Healthy Cell Concept, spreading happiness to everyone around him. Thinking of George’s humor brings smiles to our faces. We can almost hear him joking now, saying to those who have gone before him, “I would have been here a lot sooner, but Muriel kept giving me all that Garden Trio and Herbal Fiberblend every day!”
All jokes aside, George’s story is one of resilience and faith. Diagnosed with prostate cancer nearly 25 years ago, he managed to live an active and fulfilling life without medical intervention until shortly before Christmas 2024. His strength and stamina for his age were admired by younger men. George would have celebrated his 87th birthday on March 16, but instead, he now rejoices in eternity.
In later years, George frequently passed by our home, sometimes several times a day, as he stored lumber in our barn. We miss seeing that red truck go by and the impromptu chats he and Hilton would share. While we look forward to seeing him again, our thoughts and prayers are with our precious friend, Muriel, and her family, especially our faithful friend, Scott. We wish them God’s comfort and peace during this time.
Until we meet again–with our love and prayers, Hilton and Edna In
