elcome to Bass Performance Hall and our 2021-2022 Performing Arts Fort Worth season. On behalf of the Performing Arts Fort Worth staff and Board of Directors, I thank you for joining us. After a long intermission, we’re so excited to mark the return of Broadway to Fort Worth and kick off our brand-new 2021-2022 Broadway at the Bass season with the musical based on the remarkable true story, Come From Away. The Best Musical winner all across North America, Come From Away tells the story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them on September 11, 2001. Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into enduring friendships. I hope you’re just as moved by this production as I am. Our 2021-2022 Broadway at the Bass season is just getting started. Just in time for the holiday season will be an all-new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s phenomenon, CATS, returning to the Bass Hall stage November 16-21. This landmark Broadway season also includes Dear Evan Hansen, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!, Jesus Christ Superstar and Mean Girls. We’re also thrilled to welcome Hamilton as a season add-on, making its Bass Hall debut after being rescheduled due to the pandemic. Please sign up for our e-Club at www.basshall.com or follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to be the first to get all the details about this terrific new season. Finally, thank you to all of our sponsors and donors for their generous contributions and continued support.
Sincerely,
Dione Kennedy President & CEO Performing Arts Fort Worth
