elcome to Bass Performance Hall and our 2021-2022 Performing Arts Fort Worth season. On behalf of the Performing Arts Fort Worth staff and Board of Directors, I thank you for joining us. We are so excited to welcome the remarkably moving show, Dear Evan Hansen, in its long-awaited Bass Hall debut. A letter that was never meant to be seen, a lie that was never meant to be told, a life he never dreamed he could have. Evan Hansen is about to get the one thing he’s always wanted: a chance to finally fit in. Dear Evan Hansen is the deeply personal and profoundly contemporary musical about life and the way we live it. This winner of six Tony Awards® including Best Musical features a book by Tony Award® winner Steven Levenson (Fosse/Verdon), a score by Grammy®, Tony® and Academy Award® winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman), and direction by four-time Tony Award® nominee Michael Greif (Rent, Next to Normal). This show is a great conversation starter for mental health, specifically among parents and teens. I hope you feel just as moved by it as my family and I did. Dear Evan Hansen is part of our 2021-2022 Broadway at the Bass season. This landmark Broadway season also includes Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!, Jesus Christ Superstar and Mean Girls. We’re also thrilled to welcome Hamilton as a season add-on in just a few weeks, making its Bass Hall debut after being rescheduled due to the pandemic. We are thrilled to welcome Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live and The British Invasion this spring as part of our 2021-2022 BNSF Popular Entertainment Series. Whether you want to celebrate friendship or travel back in time, we hope to see you and your family here at the Hall. Please sign up for our e-Club at www.basshall.com or follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to be the first to get all the details about this terrific lineup. Finally, thank you to all of our sponsors and donors for their generous contributions and continued support.

Sincerely,

Dione Kennedy President & CEO Performing Arts Fort Worth
