祖 堯（ 祖 ）、 湯 駿 業（ D e e ）和 邵 美 君（ 君 ）， 除 了 大 談 《 尋 常 心 》 一 劇 之外，更談到風車草的未來動向、 香港表演藝術發展、以及他們成為 舞台劇演員的原因。

八月搬演《尋常心》 風車草劇團不時演出翻譯劇，例如《 Avenue Q 》，問到 他們今次為甚麼會選擇《尋常心》這個劇本，祖回答說：「 這是一個非常經典的劇作，能演出這個作品是我的目標。 在演藝學院讀書的時候，第一次接觸這個劇本。關於同志 議題的作品不少，但這個作品有多一個層次，裡面講到一 班不被社會重視的人，如何以弱勢社群的力量，由零開始 去爭取權益，很適合在今時今日的香港上演。電影版的宣 傳口號是 “If we want to win the war, you have to start one”，我十分喜歡。」Dee補充說，「這個戲好看，是因 為它在講「打大佬」（弱勢挑戰強權），很多人因為無知， 不支持別人挑戰強權爭取權益，卻不知道到頭來都會影響 到自己的利益。我的角色是個對外很正面，既沒有出櫃的 人，但暗地裡支持這班愛滋病人爭取權益，所以非常掙扎， 有很多戲可以演。」君在劇中演出患 有小兒麻痺症的醫生Emma，她也認 同Dee的講法：「我在戲中飾演一位 醫生，面對當時社會對愛滋病恐懼的 氣氛，見到很多人有能力去改變，但 選擇沉默。」《尋常心》中每個角色 的性格都非常矛盾，祖覺得這是個很 難得的劇本，更表示他們八月的演出 會跟原作一樣，將文本中非常重要而 細膩的場面搬上舞台。 鳴謝 Acknowledgment Joey 髮型：Salon Trinity @ Jo Lam、Jaden.R 化妝：Kathy Chow、Lauren Lee 服飾：Scotch & Soda、O.N.S 造型：Yee Li Dee 髮型：Salon Trinity @ Jo Lam、Jaden.R 化妝：Kathy Chow、Lauren Lee 服飾：agnes b. 造型：Yee Li

風車草劇團的未來動向 — 回應時代 被問到風車草劇團未來兩年的發展方向，Dee回應說：「我們一向以雙線發展， 一面搬演著名劇作，另一面會創作全新作品。演著名劇作可能都是在演別人的 故事，創作則可以有自己的文本，講自己所處的社會中所面對的議題，例如我 們將創作《新聞小花的告白》的二部曲。」君也同意創作很重要：「創作的文 本可以留下來，讓後來的人透過文本見到現在的社會狀態。」他們表示，即使 《新聞小花的告白》得獎，也暫時不會重演，因為現在的社會狀態跟兩年前的不 一樣，他們想要創作跟現在的情況有聯繫的作品。祖進一步強調說：「劇場的本 質就是留不住，因為需要與當時的空氣與溫度掛鉤，要不要重演一個作品，不 在乎作品是否受歡迎，而是在乎是否與當時的社會接軌。」他笑說：「創作文 本真的很不容易，好像懷孕一樣。」 關於香港表演藝術的發展 — 缺乏中小型劇場，難培養觀眾 隨著西九演出場地逐漸落成，藝術資助制度不斷改革，對於香港的表演藝術發 展前景，他們仍不確定。Dee解釋說：「現時仍然是由政府主導的結構，劇場的發 展著重於製作，劇團很難發展，惟有當劇團有自 己的劇院，才能發展，否則不論蓋多少場地都有 限制。」君補充說：「現時只是演出不斷增加。 」祖與Dee都指出現時及可見的將來，香港缺乏 約400-600觀眾席的中小型劇場，Dee說：「中 小型場地有利於劇團創作及營運，不會有太大票 房壓力，又可以累積觀眾，能夠培養劇團。」祖 加入說：「劇團需要觀眾，與觀眾培養關係、信任 、及密切感覺，惟有中小型場地才能做得到。」

<The Normal Heart> by Windmill Grass Theatre

One of the most popular theatre groups in Hong Kong, Windmill Grass Theatre will present the Tony Awards winning piece <The Normal Heart> in the coming August. Internationally acclaimed actor, Anthony Wong and popular male actor, Chui Tien You will join Joey Leung, Edmond Tong, and Luna Shaw, the founders of Windmill Grass Theatre as the cast of the performance. The Art Venue has interviewed Joey, Edmond, and Luna about the performance, their company’s development and their views on the future development of performing arts in Hong Kong. Joel said that <The Normal Heart> is one of the most significant theatre works in history. It was written in early 80s when AIDS was first blasted out in the US and based on the true story of the writer. To Joel, the story is not only about AIDS or homosexuality, but also talking about how minority fight for their rights and how a social movement was launched from its very beginning. Edmond expressed that it is a very good theatre work for the actors and actresses to perform in view of the complexity of every character in the work.

Windmill Grass Theatre presents theatre works adapted from popular plays and also their original works. Dee and Luna expressed that it is important to continue to present original works, as adaptions are stories of the others but they can address current social issues through original works which can become our legacy for the future. They all agreed that creating original works is not easy and Joel said with laughter that it’s like pregnancy. With regards to the development of performing arts in Hong Kong, they concerned very much about the lack of small to medium sized theatres with 400-600 seating in Hong Kong. Dee shared that it is important for a theatre company to have its own venue for building audience and creating new works. Joel stressed that building audience is very crucial for a theatre company. Building audience means establishing relationship with the audience, developing trust, and creating intimacy with the audience, only small to medium sized theatres can provide such an environment. 《戰馬》 現已駕臨香港 全城引頸以待 榮獲超過 25 個國際獎項包括東尼獎「最佳百老匯戲劇獎」的 《戰馬》，於 2007 年 10 月 9 日於英國國家劇院首演，並連 演兩季。其後，《戰馬》於 11 個國家 98 個城市公演，包括百 老匯、多倫多、柏林製作以及於英國、愛爾蘭、北美、荷蘭、 比利時、中國的巡迴演出，累積觀眾人數近8百萬。

《戰馬》由《深夜小狗神秘習題》導演 Marianne Elliott 及 Tom Morris 執導。如此備受推崇的作品《戰馬》， 現在終於來到香港演出。場主先睹為快，看了首晚演出。 《戰馬》內容老少咸宜，但劇情緊湊，並有不少動人情節， （Photo by: Brinkhoff Mögenburg）
場主深受感動。此劇由Nick Stafford改編，劇本源自英國 作家Michael Morpurgo的同名著作，講述第一次世界大戰 期間男孩Albert與馬匹Joey之間扣人心弦的故事。同時， 劇中的木偶都演得栩栩如生，令觀眾看得嘆為觀止。劇中 總共有23個木偶，包括馬、坦克、鳥等等，以南非知名木 偶戲團Handspring Puppet Company突破性的木偶表演 藝術為特色。

internationally acclaimed production
WAR HORSE is now in Hong Kong! War Horse has won over 25 international awards including The Best Play of the Tony Awards. Premiered in the National Theatre on 9th October, 2007, with 8 record-breaking years in London's West End, it has been showing in 98 cities around the world to over 8 million people.

The production is co-directed by Marianne Elliott (also the director of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) and Tom Morris. At the outbreak of World War One, Albert’s beloved horse, Joey, is sold to the cavalry and shipped to France. Though not yet old enough to enlist, Albert joins the army, and embarks on a treacherous mission to find his horse and bring him home. Based on the beloved novel by Michael Morpurgo, this powerfully moving and imaginative drama, filled with stirring music and songs, is a show of phenomenal inventiveness. At its heart are astonishing life-sized horses by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company, who bring breathing, galloping, charging horses to thrilling life on stage. There are a total of 23 puppets on the stage including horses, tanks, birds, etc. Winona of The Art Venue was touched by the play and took the opportunity to interview the Resident Director, Charlie Kenber and the Resident Puppetry Director, Gareth Aled. War Horse is a very complicated production and has toured to 98 cities. Winona asked them if they had changed the size of the cast or alter the storyline in order to fit into different stages in different cities. They firmly replied that they always maintain the same size of cast and the same storyline and none of the shows had cut short. 陳：KJ，恭喜你最近於兩個國際音樂
在香港，古典音樂跟整體社會之間好
比賽中勝出。對於現時香港的古典音
像有道洪溝。如果想要普羅大眾對我
樂界發展，你有甚麼想法？
們有興趣，我覺得要在三個方面切
KJ：我覺得現時香港的年輕人對藝術 失去了興趣，所以我們的界別很需要 突破，要為年輕人建立一些role models（典範） ，很有代表性的人物， 讓他們有可以有學習的對象。
入，首先要建立可以明星化的音樂 家，然後需要有好的programming （節目內容） ，亦需要做出有gimmick （話題）的演出。現時音樂節目實在太 多，良莠不齊，整體變得平庸。要令 一般人注意音樂界，就要造就iconic （有代表性的人）的音樂家。但是要成 為一個iconic的音樂家，很需要付出 個人的努力才能做得到。 另外，我覺得作為年輕音樂家，要將 眼光放遠一點，要以面向一個 regional ecology（區域性的生態圈） 的方式去發展。

陳：之前你有說過要去進修，現時進 展如何？ KJ：是喔，我已得到全額的獎學金到 英國唸artistic development（藝術發 展） 。 陳：我知道你還是會有不少演出，可 以告訴我們的讀者嗎？ KJ：今年11月我會在聖約翰座堂有一 場獨奏音樂會，之前會在10月為慶祝 文化中心三十週年籌辦一個音樂會， 裡面會有不同的年輕音樂家演出；8月 會到深圳和中山演出，同時會為節慶 樂團的十週年音樂會演出；另外，9月 會跟進念在香港合作兩個演出，10月 會和他們去上海演出。 陳：謝謝KJ，期待繼續看你的演出！

Hidden stories in postcards 神秘証人：張X偉 Secret Witness: Cheung X Wai
由巴他巴斯創立的法國星躍馬術奇藝 坊於1998年首次踏足美國，作品 <Eclipse>在布魯克林音樂學院劇場 上演，十八場演出全部爆滿。作品中 有26匹馬演出，並以韓國傳統音樂 板索里為主題。他們曾於2008年及 2012年來港演出。2012年帶來與著 名舞踏舞蹈家室伏鴻合演的《人馬的 沉 思 》， 並 且 有 4 匹 馬 演 出 。 室 伏 鴻 已於2015年逝世，作品已成絕響。

founded by Bartabas, first performed in the United States in 1998.
The
production <Eclipse> was staged in the Brooklyn Academy of Music with 18 sold-out performances. Inspired by the pansori musical tradition of Korea, the performance had 26 real horses on stage. Zingaro first came to Hong Kong in 2008 and then in 2012 with a dance production < Le Centaure et l'Animal>, co-created and performed by Bartabas and Ko Murobushi, a Japanese Butoh master and with four horses on stage. Murobushi san died in 2015 and the performance goes down in history.

《聽海之心》 聽見什麼? 聽不見，往往不只是感官上的障礙，還有感知上的障礙。五 月中旬在宜蘭棲蘭山明池謐靜的山林之中，聆聽優人神鼓的 《聽海之心》，空山新雨，人棲雲霧，水鴨與山鳥天地悠然， 鼓聲隆隆，如念想淙淙，從心裡化散開來，這一場不插電的 《聽海之心》，因為聽見了，所以現場的人都安靜了。 我們搞這一行其實很敏感觀眾的反映，尤其在戶外劇場不可 控的因素更多，往往做七分準備，三分交給天地人。《聽海之 心》在湖上安排了三處浮台，並運用了遠處的造景古亭，優 人從容遊走，最後阿禪一躍入水，漣生倒影，每一瞬間皆是 天造地設，在這絕美的安排之中，竟沒有觀眾急著拍照、直 播，能夠集體「放下」急於擁有的手機焦慮症，這種非感官 上的聽見，是藝術真正的獲勝，創造了遊刃有餘的觀者心境。 明池裡的《聽海之心》不等同於張藝謀的印象系列，前者追 求天人合一，創造了天人對話的大舞台。後者追求人定勝天， 傾鉅資開發把天地之景化入囊內，變成獵奇寡佔，層次大有不 同。深山之中《聽海之心》的啟示，就在此耳。 （圖片：盧健英攝）
