Enhancing Cinematic Experiences

For decades the leading cinema brands of India have served and hosted countless number of film fanatics in more ways than one. From creating a safe environment for adults and children alike to catering a wide range of cuisine for its audience to delve into, PVR and INOX have set the benchmark standards in the film exhibition industry. This year, PVR INOX is set to launch their newest multiplexes, featuring the sixth 4DX format in Bengaluru, Noida, Dehradun, and Armoor.

The most premium exhibitor in India has launched its new 7-screen multiplex at Global Mall, Mysore Road in Bengaluru. With this latest addition, PVR INOX strengthens its presence in Karnataka with 189 screens in 34 properties and consolidates its foothold in South India with around 530 screens in 95 properties.

The cinema is housed at an accessible location of Bengaluru, with a seating capacity of 1189 with last row recliners. Equipped with the best-in-class theatrical solutions including the SP4K next- generation laser projectors that deliver ultra-high resolution, sharp, and bright images. The auditoriums also feature Dolby Atmos audio and NextGen 3D technology for an immersive experience.

Commenting on the launch, Ajay Bijli, Managing Director, PVR INOX Limited said, "We are delighted to expand our presence in Bengaluru, one of India's fastest growing, accommodating and cosmopolitan cities. Karnataka as one of the fastest growing states and IT hub of India has started attracting migrant population from other states due to employment opportunities.

Out of home entertainment such as cinemas remains an inherent need for such people. As part of our merger synergies, we are aggressively looking at accelerating screen rollout across key markets and also tapping unexplored territories."

The property is designed magnificently with curated artworks of eminent actors and actresses with a big plasmas in the foyer give a grand appearance. Moving towards a digital era with online ticket booking taking precedence, the box office has been replaced with POS podiums for self-ticketing.

PVR Pacific Mall, Dehradun

PVR INOX, India's largest and most premium cinema exhibitor, has achieved a key milestone by successfully opening a property with five screens in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

PVR INOX unveils a new 5-screen multiplex in Dehradun featuring the first multisensory 4DX auditorium and the second property in the state of Uttarakhand. With a seating capacity of 819 audiences with plush recliners and best-in-class theatrical solutions including SP4K Laser projectors, Dolby 7.1 and Next-Gen 3D screens.

4DX is the world's first 4D movie format that delivers a fully immersive cinematic experience by which movies are no longer bound by their visual and aural limits. 4DX's immersive cinematic experience presents the future of the movie industry and is widely considered to be the biggest innovation in cinematic technology to date.

PVR G1 Mall, Telangana

Launching its 19th property in Armoor, Telangana, the 4-screen multiplex with a seating capacity of 1254 audiences with recliners incorporates cutting-edge cinematic technologies including 2K projectors, Next-Gen 3D screens and Dolby Atmos Sound. The design for was kept simple yet stunning with artwork walls and plasmas offering a sophisticated, vibrant and a warm welcoming ambience.

PVR Superplex, Mall of India, Noida

PVR Inox launches in Noida at Mall of India in a new avatar with a remodelled 7-screen Superplex to bring back the most frequented movie destination for all the viewers, giving the film city yet another entertainment landmark. The renovated cinema has reopened after a gap of nearly 3 years introducing the biggest and most experiential cinema concepts- P[XL], IMAX with Laser and 4DX for the first time in a PVR INOX Multiplex in its national circuit. IMAX with Laser is the first auditorium of its kind in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
