The New Year kicked off with class last week with two big international acts with completely different styles hitting town. First off Peaches and her entourage at Hu’u shocked us all with a performance that defied definition, with her friend delighting then shocking most fans at the venue, making for a very interesting evening. Meanwhile, at the other end of the spectrum, Arrested Development played at HRC last Sunday and you couldn’t want for a more talented and wholesome bunch of people to entertain you. The feel-good style of these hip-hop veterans was straight out of the school of Michael Franti goodness. It’s getting quieter nowadays but there’s still plenty on around the traps. Check the What’s On and Herenow sections for all the juice in the nightlife of this town. Be cool. More Comments from our VIP CARD Members Milt Cotterill Well, I picked up a copy of “the beat” magazine from “Mugshots” Café at Legian on Padma Utara. Thought it was Fantastic as a guide as to what’s happening where and when in Bali, and also where you can get a Great meal from. That’s why I brought my Oct 15-Oct 28 copy home to Australia with me, so I could review it & see what’s on in Feb 2011, via your website, for when we return to Bali. I wouldn’t have known where all these great Venues, Bars, Restaurants and local festivals were happening otherwise. Thanks guys, look forward to getting out and about in Bali again soon! Regards, Heidi What I like about The Beat Magazine is that the magazine is for free! and I love it’s content where I can see any Djs, bands or any performances schedule in a lot of cafes, restaurants, and bars & lounges. It makes easier for my job when I have to give suggestion to my boss or my friends where to go for meetings or just to hang out. I don’t think there’s something that I don’t like for the contents or the layouts. however, sometimes I find it hard to get this magazine because if I have to get it in your office, my place or my office a little bit far from your office. Overall, I like your magazine. All cool! and just keep up the good work! :)

Khaima Renovation Fans of the authentic Moroccan cuisine offered at Khaima restaurant will have to go without for a short while as the place is scheduled for a renovation. To keep up to date with the ever-evolving area of Seminyak, beginning from the 1st of February, Khaima will close its doors to the public and hopefully reopen again four months from then. Has Been Alannys is no stranger to the entertainment scene. From modeling, performing, choreography, acting and now as a DJ, her attitude to challenge the world to a new level of entertainment has embarked her on a journey faster than most can even imagine. Surpassing the apprentice level and quickly approaching a professional level by performing at large entertainment venues for a roaring crowd of over 1000 heads, her instantaneous popularity and demand spread like wild fire across the Indonesian archipelago, opening the door of opportunity for her to play in Amsterdam as Disc Jockey of the night. is Now Between the headphones of Alannys, there is a fire burning to challenge the world of Disc Jockeys from east to west. DJ Winky The Stones | Fri 28 Jan | 10PM Sounds Like House, Progressive, Trance
Hails From Bandung
Has Been Winky is no stranger to anyone who’s familiar with Indonesia’s electronic dance music scene, spinning in almost every club around the nation. Those who don’t know his remixes will definitely have seen him either acting on the big screen or on television. He may be an all round entertainer, but in his heart Winky is a DJ/producer through and through as the solo producer and remixer of the ever popular ‘Clubhoppers Essential Mix 01’ album, which is considered a rite of passage for would-be clubbers. Having formed his own DJ duo with long time partner Herdy, the pair go by the name ‘Junko Slacker’, adding their special touch to every rave party they perform at. Is Now Once again for the umpteenth time, Winky returns to Bali to take to the decks, but this time will be his first time manning the DJ booth at The Stones, more precisely at Salt of The Earth. Seventeen Klapa | Wed 26 Jan | 9PM Sound Like Pop Rock Hail From Yogyakarta
Have Been Seventeen was formed by a group of high school buddies wanting to make a name for themselves on Indonesia’s music scene. Because the band was formed on the 17th of January ‘99, precisely at 17.00, while all members were 17 years of age, the number 17 became the band’s lucky number as well as their monikar. After going through several vocalists, the band finally released their debut album under Universal Music Indonesia in 2003 with the hit single ‘Cobalah’. Many of the tracks from this album were used as soundtracks for several TV shows. The band took two years to release their second album due to management problems, but pulled through with another successful release they titled ‘Sweet Seventeen’. More problems arose when lead vocalist Doni left the band, and after a long search, new singer Ifan was enlisted to fill the void. The band’s third album released in 2008 titled ‘Lelaki Hebat’ also saw a change in their style of music, with Ifan’s voice having a more ‘poppy’ sound compared to Doni’s husky rocker vocals. are Now The band is currently working on their fourth album but have yet to disclose any information on when it will be released. Before they do release their new single to world, catch the band performing at Klapa as they belt out their many hits, and who knows, maybe they’ll slip in a new single or two.

DJ Mayfa SOS | Thu 27 Jan | 5PM Sounds Like House, electro, techno
Hails From Jakarta
Has Been From grooving away on the dance floors of some of Jakarta’s most prestigious clubs, to clubbing at exotic locations such as Bali and Singapore, DJ Mayfa has seen more of the party than most! Being bogged down with full-time job commitments and working part-time as a model hasn’t stopped her from chasing her dream of working the decks, which meant attending exhausting night classes in DJing, learning to mix, song selection skills and other technical stuff necessary for her to spin her way to the top. DJ Mayfa has an uncanny and intuitive sense of selection that not only flows but also maintains that primary sense of the party. Anyone who has seen her dancing behind the decks or reaching out to the dance floor during her set will understand only too well that she is also a clubber at heart. is Now Catch this girl command the decks for an exclusive sunset session at SOS, where she’ll be ditching her usual upbeat rhythms for a more chilled out groove appropriate to accompany the sunset view.
Syahrini Blue Eyes | Thu 27 Jan | 10PM Sounds Like Pop
Hails From Bogor
Has Been This short statured beauty is still considered a newcomer to the Indonesian music scene, but in the brief time she’s been in the limelight, Syahrini’s beauty and talents have already elevated her to celebrity status. Her musical career began with the song titled ‘Tatapan CInta’, which became the theme song for the movie ‘Coklat Stroberi’ in 2007. A year later, Rini (as she is better known) released her debut album, ‘My Lovely’ which was supported by many great songwriters, and she even slipped in her own number ‘Pusing ½ Mati’ which was the album’s biggest hit. She has recently been romantically tied with Indonesian singersongwriter Anang Hermansyah who collaborated on Rini’s last album, but of late have rarely been seen together. After her questionable relationship with Anang, Syahrini has unquestionably transformed into a more mature and sophisticated performer. is Now Last year Syahrini performed in Bali sharing the stage with Anang Hermansyah, and even shot a video clip on the island together. This time round Syahrini will be going solo performing at Blue Eyes near the end of January.

Has Been From the less than sleepy farms and fields of their native West Country, Breakbeat warriors Dominic B and Mark Yardley have grown into one of the most prolific DJ acts of today. Dom and Mark received their baptism into a booming dance scene, through secret raves set in the open air of their homeland, enjoying a thriving deep house scene, laced with breaks, funk and hip hop, eventually influencing the boy’s own productions in the end. Das Moth Hu’u | Sat 5 Feb | 10PM Sounds Like J-Pop Hails From Australia
Has Been Tim Sullivan AKA Das Moth was once the member of punk band Damn Arms. Many consider being in a punk band as a rite of passage into the music industry, but for Tim it just felt right. He’s made a habit out of doing what feels right ever since. Leaving Australia for London and Norway before he was barely old enough to drink, Tim became a part time babysitter (a “manny”) and part time DJ shortly after moving to Tokyo, which he’s decided to call his base for now. Tim’s done his time on the road touring the world and Australia with his old band, and has been invited to share the decks with DJs such as Juan Maclean, Horse Meat Disco, Shit Robot and even Major Lazer. Now Tim’s a little older and what feels right to him is, as it always seems to have been, to stay ahead of the curve. To that end, Das Moth was born, creating a repertoire of post-disco beats that’s impressed many clubbers and DJs. Is Now Running a series of parties in Tokyo’s nocturnal life scene of Le Baro and swooning over His TokioDisko Mix that he released earlier last year, it’s been a long while since Tim Sullivan has used his moniker Das Moth. Das Moth will hit the decks of Hu’u in early February and will share the decks with Teenage Illionaires.

Long Road to Lovina Many tourists who come to Bali tend to spend most of their vacation time around the southern part of the island. Not many know that the north of Bali also has its fair share of beaches for snorkeling, diving and dolphin watching.
beatmag.com 062
paddy fields filled the air. The pain in my backside soon became unbearable so I stopped just a few clicks from the temple location. I was taking some time to enjoy the view when I was approached by a small group of monkeys. Tempted to reach out to them, I kept my distance remembering they were wild. Once a bit of the feeling had returned to my nether region, I saddled up once again.
T
he road to Lovina is a long journey, about a two to three hour drive or ride from Kuta depending on road conditions, but it’s a trip travelers must experience. I decided to take the trip, giving myself a little challenge while I was at it. The challenge was to ride my motorbike solo to Lovina, departing when the sun was at its hottest, arriving before the sunset, taking nothing but the clothes on my back and a small bottle of water. It may not sound very challenging, but believe me, the buttock-punishing ride on a hard saddled motorbike like mine is truly physically exhausting - even when the sights you are likely to see on the journey are second to none. So with a full tank of gas and a bottle of water tucked under my jacket I was off. After consulting with my map, I decided the quickest route up north was to pass through Bedugul. Having been there many times before, I knew the road up there was fun, yet little did I realise that after passing the lake side temple the roads become much more challenging and treacherous. I chose the right time to go up north, as it was harvest time and the smell of freshly cut
A few kilometers from Bedugul temple, I entered the mountainous region, where the roads began to twist and turn - the Sunset Road this certainly ain’t. Now, if you’re a seasoned rider like me, you’ll be tempted to speed through the corners like a GP racer, but heed my warning; one side of the road is a cliffs edge with no guard rails while the other is covered with trees. Leaning and speeding through corners does go some way to lessen the strain on my buttocks, but other than that don’t try it at home. The views from the road are also breathtaking, but I advise you to focus on the road as the turns are many and pop up unexpectedly, so either stop to take it all in or continue on your way. The final stretch to Lovina was pretty uneventful compared to the journey to get there, as the lush green that lead me on my way soon changed to houses and shops. An odd thing about Lovina is that where most beaches either have a central restaurant or hotel, Lovina lacks an obvious focal point or public beach. However, I got to the waters edge just in time to see the sun dip over the horizon. At first the plan was to head home after the sunset, but the pain in my backside and the fading light suggested that I spend the night. This eventually lead to more unexpected adventures and challenges, which will be revealed in the next edition. To be continued... [Rinaldi]

D
reaM job bali
The designer So tell us a little about yourself. Who you are, where you’re originally from and what you do.
Out of all the places in the world, why Bali?
Sand in my toes, salt through my hair, Bintang in hand, I couldn’t ask for more than that.
If there was anything you would rather be doing what would it be?
I just got home from a trip to Las Vegas where I was the queen of the craps table for over an hour, until I lost it all. If I wasn’t a designer I think I’d be a professional gambler… or a Pussycat Doll.
What’s a little secret you keep to yourself that you don’t mind the I’m a born and bred Bondi girl all the way from world knowing about? Australia, and the head fashion designer for Body & Soul!
Do you think you have a dream job?
If I can go to the beach in the morning, work doing something I enjoy during the day, and then head out for a sunset drink in the afternoon, all year round, I guess you can say it’s a dream job.
Do your parents (family) approve of your job or do they wish you did something else? If no, what would they rather you be working as?
Dad always wanted me to be an architect, and mum had high hopes for me as a ballerina. But that’s when I was four. I don’t think they are disappointed though, especially now they have a great excuse to come to Bali every year.
Why did you choose your current career path?
I have always loved clothes. At least for as long as I can remember. Clothes are such a personal thing, and help define people’s moods and character. It is great to be able to design a piece and then see that there are people who love it enough to buy it and wear it out, and Body & Soul is a great company to work for in order to do this.
Give us the short history of how you got this job.
I originally came to Bali to work in fashion for a short contract, fell in love with the island, weather and people, discovered Body & Soul, and blah blah blah, here I am now!

Before I moved to Bali I didn’t even have a driver’s licence. I am possibly the most nervous bike rider on the road In Bali. If you see me coming best to stay out of my way!!!

Managing the Front Line Eikon

The one responsible for handling these beautiful front liners is Jade Subamia. A stunner herself, Jade has been managing the ladies of Eikon for several years and continues to find the best women to attract passers by. She doesn’t believe that beauty alone makes a good PR girl, but says that sensuality is an added factor for the girls. Looking past the exterior, Jade is always hunting for a girl with a beautiful personality rather than looks alone. Currently handling a number of PR girls, Jade makes sure that they don’t just look pretty, but earn their keep promoting events or drink promos happening at Eikon. They also work hard to attract people into the club and to make sure the guests have a good time and want to come back. All we can say is that she’s doing a damn good job of it.

Cece
(Hermy irawan)
Being an icon amongst Bali’s fashion industry (C&C Modeling) doesn’t make Cece rest on his laurels, he is still aiming for more models, more frames, and more runways to invade… The Beat pulled up a chair for a chat with the man himself.
Okay, so what words would define ‘sexy’ for Cece? Sexy is beauty that is sure to attract attention and emotion.
What made you jump into the fashion industry? I was doing modeling as a hobby back then, and actively enjoyed the limelight for 2 years. The time when you kickstarted C&C ? It all started in the year 2000.. In the fashion industry there are a huge number of modeling agencies. How do you direct C&C to maintain existence? We keep our quality, we’re on time, and we stay professional. Model agencies pick their models with their own subjective standards: To you, what is ‘beautiful’? Beautiful is when you can articulate the beauty from inside out. You are judged on your daily basis as well.
C&C Model 081 835 4816 cece_hermy@yahoo.com facebook : cece cnc Interview by Dedi Kristian
beatmag.com 068
What’s the minimum height for male/ female models? Male catwalk 178cm. Female catwalk 170cm. For photo shoot models, height isn’t the main consideration. How many male/female models are in C&C? In total 35. Male 12. Female 23. What’s the best attitude for the best models? Professional and experience. Any crazy experiences from
your models? Yea, one of my models broke her high heels in a wet fashion show ha ha ha… Worst problem between client/ organizer? The long wait when schedules are pushed back far from the rundown. Bali’s fashion industry now, how do you see it? It does well as we’ve seen lots of national grade fashion events held throughout the decade. Vision for 2011? More existence, always be number one. We are looking for new talent and models for 2011 for fashion shows and photo shoots. People who meet the previously explained criteria should send their profile and CV to the address below. Plus we are opening our teen modeling class XI.

Rich ethnic and contemporary sounds of goodness are clearly what she believes in, and form a solid foundation for this strong album. Pass this CD on to a visiting friend, it’s without doubt a sweet mantra to play over and over again.

Weezer Death to False Metal Perhaps the cover of ‘Unbreak My Heart’ isn’t the best way to kick off this album. You’d be forgiven for thinking that Weezer are tucked in the midst of a case of writer’s block, but don’t give up so easily because the rest of the album celebrates the geek-rock’s signature sound much like the previous album ‘Pinkerton’. Expect weird track names, alternative guitar effects, mockery of daily mind states, and general lunacy as they go once again unto the geeky breach.

Kung Fu Flicks
With the Chinese Lunar New Year just around the corner, here’s a few high-kicking Kung Fu movies you might want to pop into your DVD player.
• Kung Fu Hustle Stephen Chow is known as the ‘Chinese Jim Carrey’, always leaving his audiences in stitches with every movie he makes, and this one is no exception. This hilarious flick involves some of the most hilarious fight scenes ever imagined and tells the story of how a petty two-bit criminal dreams of becoming mafia boss, only to end up becoming a kung fu hero instead. • Ip Man Bad boy Donny Yen stars as Ip Man, the founder of Wang Chung Kung fu, and later, master to the legendary Bruce Lee. This dramatic biography is set during the Japanese occupation of China, and tells the story of one man’s battle to help his family and fellow countrymen.

• Fist of Fury This is a remake of the classic Bruce Lee film by the same name and features the mind-blowing moves of Jet Lee. Witness some of the best choreographed fight scenes ever seen in a movie, with some scenes so fast they may leave you feeling a little dizzy. • Crouching Dragon, Hidden Dragon The first ever kung fu movie to be nominated for an Academy Award. Directed by the great Ang Lee, the now well-known story of forbidden love and betrayal may be slow in places, but the combination of Hollywood movie magic and kung fu stunt choreography is spectacular. • Drunken Master II Jackie Chan returns in this infamous role that brought him world wide acclaim. The fight scenes are your typical Jackie Chan chop suey style bouts, with notes of humor added into the fun. The final fight is probably the best part, so you might want to fast forward if the story is going too slow for you. • Tiger at Dragons Gate Based on one of Hong Kong’s most popular comics, this story mostly keeps true to its roots. The actors may look more like pretty Asian boy band singers than martial artists, but they definitely know how to kick some ass.

Truly Indonesia
Indonesian tastes for a traveler’s appetite…
Kerak Telor Jakarta If you’ve traveled to Jakarta and ever visited the PRJ festival held to celebrate the city’s anniversary, you will definitely have come across hawkers selling something called Kerak Telor. This delicious yet endangered traditional dish was often made for special occasions such as weddings or other big events. This dish first came to life during the Dutch occupation, when the Betawi people were only rationed whatever they could find to eat and through some clever ingenuity created the Kerak Telor. The Kerak Telor is a very simple dish made from glutinous rice and beaten duck eggs topped with dried baby shrimp, deep fried shallots and savory grated coconut. The unique thing about the dish is not only the flavour but also the method of cooking, where the small wok used to cook the dish is flipped upside down, and due to the glutinous rice used, the egg mixture sticks to the wok. The dish is always cooked over a coal fire and when flipped, apart from cooking it to perfection also picks up the smoky flavour of the coals.

A warung style cafĂŠ on the stretch of Kartika Plaza which offers up an array of delicious Indonesian cuisine, guaranteed to appease any hungry belly.
The
area around Kuta and Legian is scattered with places offering different worldwide cuisine and fusion fare, but it’s hard to come by a place that offers true blue Indonesian cooking in a more swanky setting. One or two places may spring to mind but none offer an atmosphere quite like this place. Located on Kartika Plaza a few steps away from Discovery Mall, Batan Waru is a small café with an interior reminiscent of old school warungs. When you first step into Batan Waru, you are immediately welcomed by the very friendly staff, prepared to help you in any way they can. As I was lead to my table, I couldn’t help but notice the counter at the center which looked so much like the little warungs I came across when traveling through Java as a kid with my parents, with an assortment of colourful bottled drinks displayed on the table and a glass display showcasing cigarettes. For an extra old school touch, there were three large glass containers filled with an assortment of rice crackers, now that’s something you’ll only ever see in run down roadside warungs these days. The framed posters, whirling fans and wooden furniture added to the classic feel of the place.
sambal. A very filling meal indeed - also available as a vegetarian option. Another specialty is the Ikan Woku Belanga (Rp64K), which is a special fish stew from North Sulawesi served with a lontong rice cake. Although I was quite full after these two generously portioned meals, I was curious to try the Pepes Ikan Laut (Rp71K), to see if it was anything like my mother used to make. It was a little different from what I grew up with because the dish used traditional Balinese ingredients whilst my mother’s was based on a Javanese recipe. Different, but still very tasty.
To wash everything down, a variety of beverages are available, from the bottled drinks displayed on the counter to a selection of juices and mocktails. If Now about the food. Batan Waru does offer several you happen to want a drink with a little more kick, international dishes on the menu, but some of the Batan Waru also offers a large selection of cocktails best choices are the Indonesian dishes. The most to try and all at an affordable price. popular item on the menu is the Nasi Campur Batan Waru (Rp64K) which is a Balinese mixed rice So if you happen to be passing through Kartika Plaza plate served with a fried thin slice of beef tenderloin, on the lookout for something a little less ‘touristy’ red chili chicken, beef sate, long beans in Kalasan and a little more authentic, you won’t go far wrong sauce, a whole prawn fritter and an egg doused in with a visit to Batan Waru. It may be a good idea to do your own thing until you run out of inspiration, then just hide out or go home. You need to use some of that great energy to take care of your own business, no matter how many requests come your way from outside. You’re bursting with great energy, and now is the best time to make life a little easier to handle - tidy up, rearrange things or institute a new organizational system. You’ll amaze co-workers and family! You can feel the good energy flow through you as you take care of the most routine tasks and responsibilities. Use that creative energy! You see the truth for what it is, and it will certainly open your eyes. From this point onwards you will know exactly what you have to do.
You’ve got to do your best to feel good about yourself, and that could be all it takes this time. It’s one of those times when it’s great to be you, but almost as good to be one of your entourage. Your work group or family needs a change of some kind, and you’ve got a few ideas you want to try out. Your reputation doesn’t usually worry you all that much - you know that you can pull off just about anything no matter what others may think. Health should improve, so long as you resist the temptation to be overly self-indulgent. There’s good news, though: You can overcome this and end up looking much better than you did before! It might help to let go completely and let everything turn out as it does.

Your ability to keep going when your friends and co-workers fade is legendary, and you are so energized right now that you may need to just pass them by early on. That’s not to say that success is impossible, merely that your guarded nature should help you make the best of it. You’ll soon find that you can find solutions to any problem if you keep an open attitude. Your willpower is never in question, but you may have to get your friends to confirm it with a staring contest or something similar. Your fierce energy makes it easier than ever for you to transform yourself. Openness is vital - don’t let yourself hide anything, no matter how sensitive. You might actually be able to keep going all night at this rate. Your great, fiery energy feels as if it’s limitless, and your friends are sure to drop off eventually.
Use your amazing powers of negotiation and charm to sort things out and move them closer to where you want them to be. No one can do this sort of thing quite like you can. And you know it! Prioritize your tasks by placing a greater importance on the things for which other people depend on you - and then take care of your own needs if you have the time. You’re brimming with positive energy and you’re able to channel it directly into promising projects. Try to capture your thoughts and retain them. Jot down notes on your laptop or record them on a portable tape recorder. You have a special gift for teasing facts out into the open, mainly because you can adopt a non-confrontational approach.
Gemini May 21 - June 21 You could feel stimulated and inspired. You’ll have a lot of physical energy, and you could even feel a bit manic! Try to center yourself. You feel restless, wanting to do something new. You’ve got a real talent for getting your way, and right now you’re practically on fire!

Take this time to get people to help you get it back on track and in the air. Others might help you succeed in unexpected ways. Take chances to get ahead. You’re full of yourself - but that’s a good thing! Impress with confidence. Fooling around can be fun, but keep your head down and work with purpose. It suggests that you might have to put yourself out there, set your boundaries or prove yourself. If you can keep things simple, you will stand a better chance of getting a few things done. Next, reward yourself and unwind with the easy social atmosphere that you crave. You need to get out there and try something new - your energy is driving you to make a change!
You may find that your people have ideas, but if you think for a few minutes, you’re sure to come up with your own. Try to get as organized as you can. Pick one thing and follow through on it. Try to stay focused and clear so that you can move along rapidly. You’re seeing patterns where others see chaos. Take it to the next level. You might be considering your options. The energy of the time could put you in a reflective mood. You have enough good ideas. You don’t need to take credit for someone else’s. Perhaps they’re going to help you with a task, or vice-versa. There may not be anything flash or particularly glamorous about this association, but none-the-less it can be comforting to have people who are solid citizens in our lives like this.

Initiatives you take now have a good chance of working out. You and your plans can be well received. You can be competitive but not in a grabbing way. It’s a good time for you to step back from the planning and look at how everything seems to fit together. Look with fresh eyes. Present outcome is up in the air - and you have a fair amount of influence over it. It is helping you organize your thoughts. It’s a good time to do business - but you’ve got to keep up! You’re seeing details everyone else is missing. That could mean that you’re able to take initiative and move ahead, or it could mean that you’re starting to crack! The odds are on the former, though. You are busy exploring a range of interesting and unusual ideas.
You could be in the mood to make some new friends. A social, playful energy will be in the air. You are in a really good place right now - especially if you are seeking to reinvigorate your love life! Your energy is just about perfect and you may find that your friends and colleagues are willing to pick up after you. Though most other people are pretty intensely social right now, you may be better off flying solo. Life’s mysteries can take on more interest, but at a more mundane level, keeping on top of commercial and financial dealings is essential. You are more in tune with your resources, money and talents and your sense of self-worth. You can handle all the action, though you wouldn’t mind a little break. One should be coming up pretty soon.
Your head is spinning a bit. You’ve got some good energy trapped in there, but you need to make a big decision before you can release it. Unfortunately, that may be easier said than done. This is a really good time to organize your memories they are stronger than usual, and you might want to write down your take on long-ago events to keep it fresh and alive for the future. The discussion that results could bring more ideas to both of you. The celestial atmosphere hints that as a result, the two of you just might sit together for over an hour or so, mulling over the information in silence. In your professional life, indicate a change in your activities, provided you manage to improve communication with the people around you. In order to achieve this you need to make an effort to express your ideas without constantly fearing that they will fail.
Pisces Feb 19 – March 20 Shore up your primary relationships - they may not need much work, but making the effort shows you care and scores you points. Later, your hot energy lights up the night! Your good energy is just right for mixing things up with your friends and family and getting folks to see the light. If you’re getting to know someone better, you may have high hopes. And that’s good and you may want to see the best in this person. But keep a little bit of yourself back. This is a good time to get to know your mates a little better. The energy of the time will be encouraging people to open up more, and to share from the heart. You may be able to make some progress at work or in your love life without exerting yourself too hard. Make it work!

DJ Toms Red Square | Wed 26 jan | 10PM Sounds Like From Classic Disco to Cutting Edge Hails From Jakarta
Has Been One of Jakarta’s legendary DJ’s is Thomas Hans, or better known as DJ Toms. Fans of the old club Zanzibar will be familiar with his works, as this is where he began his raise to fame and became an idol to the many Zanzibarian of that era. When the club finally lost its flame, DJ Toms perused the Jakarta club scene landed several resident spots at clubs such as NuChina, Mezza9, Triple Nine and now Toms has landed a resident spot at Immigrant. DJ Toms is known for mainly plays within the genres of Classic Disco, House and Electro.
