FISHING, BOATING AND ADVENTURES
Hello everyone, I am sure many of you are growing webs between your toes, I am. I have a daughter and son-in-law living on a Catamaran near the bridge. They have reported getting regularly bashed by debris and big logs moving in and out with the tide, not really conducive to safe boating at the moment. Speaking of which, we have been closing the shop early as foot traffic and fishing has been minimal during this round of weather. In my last report it was blowing a gale. Before this lot started there were good catches from the beach, around the yellow marker at the entrance of Ningi creek and inside Moreton at Tangalooma and Bulwer. David Clayton is a shop regular, not only is he an avid fisherman he also dives and snorkels the passage regularly. Not a bad effort for in between weather events lately. Well done, David. outgoing tide. For the traveller, the shop has a good selection of telescopic rods for sale. I have been selling a lot of reel handles and repairing broken rods and tips. Please take good care of your fishing gear, it should last you a lifetime. Let’s hope that the weather Gods smile on us soon. DOC
