Doing the Golden Isle Bridal Show “Much Ado Over I Do” was a pleasure this year. As a vendor, it was a very smoothly run show. There was always someone available and helpful from the staff from the moment I arrived. It also was a very steady flow of Brides & Grooms from start to finish. Feedback and bookings started the very next day. We hope to continue doing their shows in the future. Bill Ricci owner, The Solo Guitarist I found the show, although smaller than last year’s, in just two weeks to have generated more calls to me than any other show I’ve been in. I’m very excited about the calls I’m getting without having to call them first and business that will come from the show. Valerie Gossett owner, Premier Resources Travel
The Golden Isles Magazine staff does an amazing job every year to bring together both vendors and brides at their annual bridal expo. The opportunity is one you would not want to miss. Meeting so many new people and telling them about what you offer is always fun. Face to face contact with future customers is an exciting way to foster new relationships and the bridal expo has helped my business to continue growing for the past 5 years. January, 18, 2015
Say “I Do” to A Seaside Affair and you’ll be showcasing your brand in the most romantic of settings. Hosted on the lovely Jekyll Island oceanfront by Golden Isles Magazine, our wedding show offers the experience of a company with more than a century of marketing savvy. Publishing across print and digital platforms, we cover Southeast Georgia more comprehensively and affordably than any other. The Golden Isles is host to nearly 1,000 weddings a year, making it one of the most sought-after destinations in our region*. If you want to reach as many brides as possible with your message, we’re the venue to choose.

OUR strategy
MARKETING
Our marketing plan will encompass glossy magazines as well as newspapers. Glossy Print: The Knot Georgia - Spring/Summer & Fall/Winter Weddings Unveiled - Spring, Summer & Fall Southern Weddings Volume 7 Newsprint: Surrounding Counties and throughout South and Central Georgia College Newspapers including: • The George-Anne (Georgia Southern University) • The Red & Black (University of Georgia) • The Colonnade (Georgia College & State University newspaper) • The Bulldawg Illustrated (targeting students and alumni of the University of Georgia) • The Spectator (Valdosta State University)
If there’s a bride in Georgia who is considering the Golden Isles as her wedding destination, we’ll put you on her mind, and here’s how.
We are also developing a strong online presence Our website, www.goldenislesbridalshow.com, lists every vendor who partnered with us for our 2014 show, along with links to their websites and contact information. We will be blanketing our own extensive network of print and online products – Coastal Illustrated, Golden Isles Magazine, The Brunswick News – with advertisements designed to build excitement and drive traffic to the bridal show website. Ads will appear in every issue of Coastal Illustrated and Golden Isles Magazine, while a permanent link will be placed on The Brunswick News website. Our show will be listed on theknot.com, Southern Weddings blog posts, and other popular websites and blogs.
We are developing relationships with the most prestigious wedding planners in the state. Information about the 2014 show and save-the-date cards for the 2015 show will be mailed to 70 select wedding planners across the state. About a month before the 2015 show, we will mail invitations to the 2015 show to brides statewide based on mailing address, wedding date and destination wedding interest, using information taken from monthly lead lists we receive from The Knot Georgia. A special email invitation will be sent in December to approximately 22,000 Georgia brides registered with theknot.com A se a si d e af fa i r
