Hope
What kind of hope do we hope to find in this world? My hope is to be the kind of mom and friend that I’m supposed to be. My hope is for living for God and doing the best I can to make Him proud of me. I fail daily, but I have a God that I can call on and He’ll help me any time day or night.
Psalms 42:1: As a deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul knew I needed God. We don’t get it by just going to church. The more we hunger (for God) the better we can minister to others.
Psalms 42:2: My soul thirsts for God, for the living God, when shall I come and appear before God? Our friends and religious people down us and ask where is your God, especially when things go wrong. As we look at things now, it looks like the evil is winning, but we need to get our focus back on God.
Psalms 42:3-4 (3) My tears have been my food day and night. While they continually say to me, Where is your God? (4) When I remember these things, I pour out my soul within me, For I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God. With the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept a pilgrim feast. My hope is still in God. He is who He says He is and does what He says. You should praise Him at all times even if you don’t feel like it.
Don’t say you hope, you should have your hope in the Lord. Your hope is in God and nothing else. If you have questions read the Bible. God is still on the throne. Christians are getting
discouraged instead of spending time with God and believing in Him. Christians and non-Christians; God is putting us to a test. People are doing their own things, because not enough ministering going on.
Ecclesiastes 9:4: But for him who is joined to all the living there is hope for a living dog is better than a dead lion. Dogs at this time were the lowest of animals, they were not pets. People pray for others to be healed but they don’t believe in healing for themselves.
The living still have hope, but the (dead lion) can’t do anything because memories are lost. But we can have hope (in the truth of God) to show us the way. God will still be there; memories are still memories.
Ecclesiastes 8:6: Also their love, their hatred, and envy have now perished; Nevermore will they have a share in anything done under the sun. Hope shows up at your darkest moment. In the darkest hour God is still there.
Romans 5:1: Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Your hope is in your relationship with God. You may quit and forget about God, but He hadn’t forgot about you.
Romans 15:13: Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. In His Wind Ms. Pat
