The same fight he used against money-sharks and corruption in his sport, he used to defend democracy against Franco’s rising fascist army. Clem met his death at the Battle of Jarama after he and his comrades held their posts against overwhelming odds, remaining to cover a temporary retreat, but were never seen alive again.

Spillikin – A Love Story

Mitch Benn: Don’t Fear The Reaper

Sally’s memories are fading fast, but she can still recall fragments of her earlier life: an awkward courtship, mid-life adultery, songs. And now a new life-companion has arrived, a robot, uploaded with the personality of her late husband. It’s all rather confusing. Can love really conquer all?

It’s been a morbid time for ‘the country’s leading musical satirist’ (The Times); he’s turned 46 – over the hill by anyone’s standards – his personal life is in turmoil and his childhood heroes are dropping like flies. At times like these, a man feels the Reaper creeping up on him… But is death anything to fear?

Prepare to have your heart broken by this 5 star sell out show from Pipeline Theatre, featuring a state-of-the-art robot as a full cast member.

Mitch confronts his – and YOUR – mortality with hilarious (and tuneful) consequences. Join him! It’s time you’re not getting back!

After the show there is a Q&A session, so you can get up close and personal with the robot and ask him questions.

Sand Castles Written by Bob Larbey

We all like to be beside the seaside. Everybody knows an Englishman’s home is his sand castle. The Billets and the Pattersons have holidayed in the same resort for years. They don’t rule the waves, but they have turned the area around their beach huts into a cosy little kingdom. It’s shock waves when Doug and his nieces buy the adjacent beach hut. They don’t care about beach hut protocol wanting fun in the sun! Beach rage ensues with comical consequences.

Based on the acclaimed film of the same name, Bugsy Malone features a cast of adult characters played by children and young adults to tell this witty and charming story.
