Forty of the nation’s top high school vocalists will gather virtually for this summer’s Songbook Academy Online. Public masterclasses hosted by Michael Feinstein and a star-studded team of guest mentors will take place July 19-23. All students and special guests will be featured in a weekend of online showcases available for streaming August 6-8. ONLINE Join us for a free, livestreamed evening of music, dance and inspirational stories as the Center stages its annual fundraiser, featuring Great American Songbook ambassador Michael Feinstein, a gospel choir, and other performers and surprise guests. Donations and auction proceeds will support the Center’s artistic and educational programming. ONLINE Singer-songwriters Rufus Wainwright and José González co-headline a tour in support of their latest albums. Wainwright’s Grammy-nominated release Unfollow the Rules finds the eclectic artist returning to pop after a break to pursue classical projects. González is known for his warm voice and deft nylon-stringed guitar work. THE PALLADIUM Drummer Dan Brubeck and bassisttrombonist-composer Chris Brubeck lead a salute to their legendary father. Pianist-composer Dave Brubeck, who died in 2012, was a leading exponent of cool jazz and a pioneer in the use of unusual time signatures. His 1959 album Time Out remains one of the most popular and influential jazz records of all time. THE PALLADIUM Randy Rainbow is a comedian, actor, singer, writer and satirist whose musical parodies and political spoofs have won him international acclaim and two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. His viral comedy videos receive millions of views across all social media and digital platforms. THE PALLADIUM

Buckets N Boards is a hilarious, highenergy show full of amazing percussion, ridiculous songs, spectacular tap dancing and inventive instrumentation. Featuring Matthew Levingston and Gareth Sever, this family-friendly comedy outing has toured the world and appeared for many years in Branson, Missouri, and on Disney Cruise Lines. THE PALLADIUM Founded in 1994 by pianist Thomas Lauderdale and vocalist China Forbes, this 12-member “little orchestra” has delighted audiences around the world with its multilingual mix of jazz, classical and old-school pop music. The band has released 11 studio albums on its own Heinz Records label. THE PALLADIUM
In a career spanning three decades, Clint Black has scored 22 No. 1 singles, nearly two dozen gold and platinum records and countless other awards with a style rooted in country tradition. Last year the Houston-raised artist released his 23rd album, the self-produced Out of Sane. THE PALLADIUM

Direct from Rio, this ensemble of veteran musicians performs the music of their home country: sambas, bossa novas, ballads and other songs and instrumentals influenced by the cultures of Portugal, Cuba, Africa and the Americas. The band has performed at venues and festivals around the world. THE PALLADIUM Since the early 1990s, the Gaither Vocal Band has been a standardbearer in the world of gospel music. Founded by legendary Indiana-born songwriter and producer Bill Gaither, this Grammy-winning vocal group has performed in such venues as the Sydney Opera House, the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. THE PALLADIUM Singer-songwriter Ben Folds is known for genre-bending music that includes pop hits with the Ben Folds Five, multiple solo albums and many collaborations. He has performed with some of the world’s greatest symphony orchestras and currently serves as artistic advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center. THE PALLADIUM Pianist Sean Chen has won praise for his “alluring, colorfully shaded renditions” (New York Times) and “genuinely sensitive” playing (LA Times). He was the winner of the 2013 American Pianists Awards, placed third at the 2013 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, and was named a 2015 Annenberg Fellow. THE PALLADIUM Debby Boone has enjoyed Top 10 successes on the pop, country, adult contemporary and contemporary Christian charts, most notably her record-breaking 1977 hit “You Light Up My Life,” ranked No. 7 in Billboard’s 50th Anniversary Hot 100. In recent years, she has been exploring the Great American Songbook. THE PALLADIUM Best known for its viral YouTube videos that reinterpret modern pop hits in various vintage genres, Postmodern Jukebox is a rotating musical collective founded in 2011 by arranger-pianist Scott Bradlee. The troupe is back on the road and celebrating “the new Roaring ’20s” with its Grand Reopening Tour. THE PALLADIUM

The Berlin Philharmonic Piano Quartet is one of few ensembles of its kind, featuring violist Matthew Hunter, cellist Knut Weber, violinist Luis Esnaola and renowned concert pianist Markus Groh. The group is committed to representing standard classical, romantic and modern repertoire, as well as undiscovered masterpieces of the literature. THE PALLADIUM A born showman and accomplished sleight-of-hand artist, David Williamson dazzles audiences with a blend of heart-stopping magic and sidesplitting hilarity. He has been featured on ABC’s Champions of Magic, CBS’ Magicians’ Favorite Magicians, NBC’s World’s Greatest Magic III and the CW’s Masters of Illusion series. THE TARKINGTON Led by dancer, choreographer and artistic director Marcos Ayala, Tango Argentina comprises a dozen top Argentinian musicians and dancers who combine tango traditions with contemporary stories to show how the art form has evolved throughout its history. Zach Brock is a Grammy Award-winning violinist and composer whose music evokes the spirits of John Coltrane, Béla Bartók and Jimi Hendrix. Best known for his work with the instrumental supergroup Snarky Puppy, he was named Downbeat Magazine’s Rising Star Violinist of 2013. Brock also has recorded and toured with jazz greats Stanley Clarke, Phil Markowitz and Wycliffe Gordon. THE PALLADIUM Inspired by the award-winning film La Vie en Rose, this production celebrates the life and career of the legendary French chanteuse Edith Piaf through her most popular songs. Vocalist Anne Carrera is joined by live musicians and projected historical images for a multimedia exploration of Piaf’s rise from poverty to worldwide fame. THE PALLADIUM This Motown-influenced vocal quartet mashes up today’s Top 40 hits with reimagined classics of the past six decades, blending songs by artists as diverse as Sam Smith, the Four Tops, Michael Jackson, Katy Perry, Adele, the Temptations, Sam Cooke, The Weeknd, Billy Joel, Prince, Meghan Trainor, Bruno Mars and many more. THE PALLADIUM Principal Conductor Wojciech Rodek leads the orchestra, founded in 1944, on its first U.S. tour. The program features soloists Agata Szymczewska, first-prize winner of the 13th Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition, and Paweł Wakarecy, first-prize winner of the 16th International Frédéric Chopin Piano Competition. THE PALLADIUM Under Music Director Wynton Marsalis, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra spends over a third of the year on tour. The big band performs a vast repertoire, from rare historic compositions to JALC-commissioned works, including compositions and arrangements by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Thelonious Monk and other greats. THE PALLADIUM Named after a haunting Bob Dylan song, Farewell Angelina is the country trio of Ashley Gearing, Nicole Witt and Andrea Young, three powerhouse vocalists, songwriters and multiinstrumentalists who met while building their careers in Nashville. They have earned wide acclaim with their blend of heart-stopping harmonies over blazing violins and guitars. THE TARKINGTON Justin Lansing and Joe Mailander have been exploring the outdoors together since they were kids. Now, as the Grammy-winning Okee Dokee Brothers, they write folk songs that encourage kids and families to get outside and get creative. The five-time Parents’ Choice Award winners have been called “two of family music’s best songwriters.” THE TARKINGTON

They recreate the excitement of Beatlemania with period instruments, clothing, hairstyles and onstage banter. THE PALLADIUM The Henhouse Prowlers have performed in over 25 nations. Working with the U.S. State Department and under their own nonprofit, Bluegrass Ambassadors, the band incorporates music from Africa, Asia, the Middle East and more into their already robust repertoire of unique traditional American music. THE TARKINGTON Singer-songwriter A.J. Croce delivers a special night of music featuring hits by his late father, Jim Croce, as well as his own tunes and folk and roots songs that influenced both men. The Sphinx Virtuosi are a dynamic professional chamber orchestra dedicated to increasing racial and ethnic diversity in classical music. Comprising 18 of the nation’s top Black and Latinx classical soloists, the Virtuosi are primarily alumni of the internationally renowned Sphinx Competition, working together as cultural ambassadors reaching new audiences. THE PALLADIUM Born in the U.S., jazz singer Stacey Kent launched her career in the U.K., where she met her husband and musical partner, saxophonist-composer Jim Tomlinson. Her repertoire is rooted in jazz standards but incorporates French chanson, Brazilian music and original compositions by Tomlinson with lyrics in English, French and Portuguese. THE PALLADIUM

Voted Best New Band of 2014 by the Irish Music Association, Socks in the Frying Pan is a trio of guitar, accordion and banjo/fiddle that delivers traditional sounds with modern flair. The musicians from County Clare have wowed audiences across the U.S. with their instrumental prowess and dynamic three-part harmonies. THE TARKINGTON For decades, the Peking Acrobats have dazzled live audiences and TV viewers around the world with trick cycling, precision tumbling, juggling and daring maneuvers at precarious heights. The troupe is accompanied by colorful lighting effects and musicians playing traditional instruments, evoking the pageantry of a Chinese carnival. THE PALLADIUM Las Cafeteras are remixing roots music and telling modern-day stories of Latino and immigrant lives, using traditional “Veracruz Sound” instruments like the jarana, requinto, quijada (donkey jawbone) and tarima (a wooden platform). They sing in English, Spanish and Spanglish, melding styles from rock to hip-hop to rancheras. THE PALLADIUM Itzhak Perlman has been making waves since his 1958 appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show at age 13 and remains one of the great ambassadors of classical music. His recordings have claimed 16 Grammy Awards, as well as the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and his PBS specials have won four Emmy Awards. THE PALLADIUM Blind since birth, 20-year-old Matthew Whitaker is a rising star of jazz piano. He has performed at such venues as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center and the Apollo Theater with artists including Christian McBride, Regina Carter, Jason Moran, Jon Batiste and the New York Pops Orchestra. THE PALLADIUM The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook is joined by one of the most acclaimed contemporary Christian vocalists for an evening of timeless music. Michael Feinstein is a five-time Grammy nominee and Artistic Director for the Center for the Performing Arts. Sandi Patty has claimed 40 Dove Awards among other accolades. THE PALLADIUM
