Dear Hammock Beach Members: We are gearing up for a very busy February with the Daytona 500 followed by Spring Break. The resort will be busy with visiting families, so we urge members to make your dining reservations in advance online for Delfinos and Atlantic Grille using the quick links on the new member website. Cabana and chaise lounge rental reservations can be found under Beach & Pool on the website.

seeing members enjoying this new sport. The surface of the courts has Deco Turf, which is a cushioned sports flooring system that offers a softer surface and a consistent bounce. It is designed for safety and the cushioning materials absorb impacts and redistribute pressure to put less stress on the body. We look forward to creating programming for Pickleball, so stay tuned.

Speaking of the new website, by now, you should have logged in, updated your profile if applicable, and started using the quick links to review your statement, make restaurant reservations, book a tennis court and now pickleball court, schedule tee times, order Sushi or Pizza to go and make a reservation for a club event. The new Member App, to be launched shortly, will put these functions at your fingertips for your convenience. This month, we will have our first quarterly Member & Manager’s reception on leap day, February 29, and our next Member Mixer will be on March 14 to celebrate St. Patty’s Day. Please note if you are on the wait list for the March Mixer, you will have the first priority to register for the April Mixer.

Just a reminder about our extended family program for adult children who have aged out of their parents Membership. Please read the details on the next page and have your Extended Family Member stop by the Membership Office for a new card.

Samantha Cianciolo, Manager, Animal Caretaker & PR Coordinator During our presentation, we will be discussing the history of our organization, with a particular focus on our CEO and founder, as well as how we’ve grown and evolved over the years. We will also be going into detail about the animals themselves and how we acquire them, as well as the comprehensive care that we provide for them, including veterinary care. It’s important to note that while we would love to release these animals into the wild, it’s simply not possible due to a variety of factors. We will

explain the issues that these animals would face in the wild, and why it’s in their best interest to remain under our care. We’re proud of the work that our paid staff and volunteers do every day to make our organization successful. We will discuss how we work together and how anyone can become a part of our team. The link below is a wish list of items that we need for our facility, both large and small, that can be purchased online and shipped to our address.

Looking to the future, we hope to continue expanding our efforts and improving the lives of the animals in our care.
