EDITOR’S LETTER TEAM + COVER

HAPPY NEW YEAR.

After the ups and downs of the past couple of years, 2023 is shaping up to be a time of change, of growth and of embracing a more positive mindset.

To get you started, we proudly bring you our annual Health & Wellbeing edition.

Inside you will find everything from luxury skin and beauty treatments to medical and dental healthcare services.

We also have some practical advice on how to kick-start your fitness regime, take a look inside the new Chuan Spa at The Langham Gold Coast and share the story behind Roccoco Botanicals award-winning Ruby Crystal Cleansing Balm.

The theme continues in the food and wine section, with Marj visiting a couple of local vegan restaurants and Tony uncovering some of his favourite nonalcohol drinks.

Ange got an early start on her wellness journey, heading to 28 Degrees Byron Bay for a few days of rest and relaxation.

We are offering you the chance to experience this amazing property for yourself in our latest competition, so be sure to get your entry in.

Of course it wouldn’t be a Cove magazine without a little indulgence as well, so Dame Emma Thompson stops by for a chat; we invite you onboard a luxury private charter to New Zealand, Norfolk Island and the Whitsundays and we preview the latest offerings from Porsche, Lamborghini and Ocean Alexander.

On a personal note, over the Christmas break I joined the downsizer market and will soon be trading our big family home for a more compact unit on the water.

This trend is more popular than ever here on the Coast as you will discover in the Property Portfolio.

And to really whet your appetite for apartment living be sure to check out the new Luxurious Developments section which showcases the ground-breaking Masthead Ocean Club planned for Main Beach – just stunning.

Well, I think that’s enough for now … we look forward to bringing you more colour, more news and more luxury as the year progresses.
