We’ve got lots of exciting new holidays for summer 2026 including an overnight stop in magical Istanbul
Arcadia’s 30-night holiday to Canada and USA includes headline overnight calls in Quebec, Boston and New York, giving you two days to explore each city.
And in August 2026, you can join Arcadia to witness the total solar eclipse from Isafjördur (weather permitting). On the same cruise, an overnight in Greenock gives you the chance to experience the Edinburgh Tattoo – an annual spectacle celebrating British military and Scottish heritage. See pages 127 and 98.
A new 21-night Central Mediterranean holiday includes an overnight in Istanbul giving you two days to explore. You could visit the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque or haggle for souvenirs at the Grand Bazaar.
There’s also a new 24-night Eastern Mediterranean cruise with plenty of adventure in store...
Highlights include an unmissable trip to the Pyramids of Giza (from Alexandria), a Greek odyssey in Athens (from Piraeus) and the chance to explore the ancient city of Ephesus (from Kusadasi). Go to page 120 for the full itineraries.
Azura’s continuing her fly-cruise holidays to the Mediterranean but you’ll see more stops at Kusadasi where you can explore Ephesus – one of the world’s best-preserved ancient cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There will also be more overnight stays in Valletta, giving you more time to uncover Malta’s capital.
Also new to Azura’s holidays are stops in Toulon, and Calvi where you can explore Corsica. This rugged, mountainous island offers plenty for nature lovers from hiking and snorkelling to sunbathing and kayaking.
Arvia’s heading to Civitavecchia for the first time, and from here you can visit The Eternal City, Rome. Drop a coin in the Trevi Fountain, wander the Colloseum, recharge with Italian coffee…
She also has new 7-night holidays to France and Spain during the May half-term and the summer holidays, giving families more chances to holiday on board our newest ship. See pages 108-109 for more details.
New for 2026, Iona has 7-night holidays to France and Spain, giving you the chance to experience Bilbao, Cherbourg, La Coruña and Vigo. Soak up Bilbao’s Guggenheim Museum, explore Normandy’s pretty coastal towns from Cherbourg and taste your way through Vigo’s tapas bars. See pages 108-109 for more details.
VENTURA
On 12 August 2026, you’ve the opportunity to witness the total solar eclipse on board Ventura. This unique cruise has been designed to capture the eclipse (weather permitting) while in the Spanish port of El Ferrol. The itinerary also includes an overnight stay in Lisbon and stop in Madeira. See page 111 for the full details.
BRITANNIA
For the first time, Britannia’s heading to Croatia and Iceland. Take your pick from a 21-night Mediterranean cruise to Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar and other hot spots, or a 14-night cruise to Iceland, stopping in Akureyri and Isafjördur, plus an overnight stay in Reykjavik.

Arvia
A SUNSHINE ADVENTURE
Our sunshine ship is perfect for newcomers. Brimming with brand-new features and innovation, there’s plenty to explore. Why not join her in the Caribbean or Med?
NNOVATION MEETS
EXPLORATION
New to P&O Cruises? Iona is a great choice to discover what a holiday with us is all about. The epitome of chic, Iona boasts a three-tier glass Grand Atrium offering panoramic views, beautiful backdrops for your swim at the Infinity Pool and 30 places to wine and dine. She’s the dream ship to experience the Norwegian Fjords with.
Britannia
CONTEMPORARY GLAMOUR
Popular with families, Britannia is sure to take your breath away the moment you step on board and into her Atrium (especially after her recent refit!). Sip a glass of fizz underneath her dazzling Star Burst sculpture, perfect your skills at The Cookery Club, watch a family movie at The Studio or recharge with a visit to the Thermal Suite –the choice is yours.
Ventura
THE FUN ALL-ROUNDER
Perfect for families, Ventura has so much to enjoy. Kids (and big kids) love her video game arcade; the sports arena keeps everyone happy (competitive streaks aside!) with football, basketball, tennis and archery; and the comedy and quiz nights in Havana and The Tamarind Club are fun for all the family.

You could even get cosy underneath the night sky and catch a movie at the open-air cinema SeaScreen.
THE INDULGENT EXPLORER
A firm favourite with some of our long-returning guests, mid-sized Arcadia offers timeless style. From the art deco domed roof of the atrium to the glass-fronted lift bringing breathtaking views to your travel through the decks, to her sleek bars and restaurants and opulent spa, Arcadia’s a worthy home for the epic World Cruises.

Sail from Southampton
Step on board in Southampton and start your holiday, or hop on a plane and join your ship – there’s benefits to both
The beauty of a cruise holiday is the effortless travel. You hand your bags over at the terminal in Southampton, go through security and that’s it: your holiday’s begun. No lugging bags, they’ll meet you at your cabin. You’re simply free to start your holiday. Maybe you want to go straight for a dip in the pool? Or order a drink as “it’s 5 o’clock somewhere”?
Cruising’s also perfect for people who don’t like flying. From Southampton, you can explore the cities of Europe, the capitals of Scandinavia, the Norwegian Fjords, the Canary Islands, the Mediterranean coastlines, the Caribbean and North America – not to mention the myriad of destinations on our World Cruises. And you get to travel in style. With us, the journey’s just as important as the destination. We also offer limitless luggage. When you cruise from Southampton, you’re free to bring as much as you’d like (although we do have laundry facilities on board too!).
There’s plenty of benefits to fly-cruise holidays too. A fly-cruise is that fast forward to the sunshine. Fancy becoming a Dutch cheese and wine connoisseur in Amsterdam? On a guided walk through the city you’ll learn about many famous sights, before settling in for a palate-tingling tasting session at the Old Amsterdam Cheese Store. Here, you’ll savour five varieties of delicious Dutch cheese, each paired with a different wine.
Take a trip to Bruges (from Zeebrugge) and explore the fairytale town with winding cobbled streets, tree-lined canals and medieval architecture. If you want to do something unique in Hamburg, head to Miniatur Wunderland. This vast and incredible model railway exhibition isn’t like any model train set you’ve seen before.
Explore detailed themed worlds with moving cars, planes, ships and even wildlife –including the largest miniature airport in the world.
A night out in Amsterdam sounds great but with its labyrinth of streets and canals, and thousands of bars scattered across the city, how will you know where to go? That’s where a local guide comes in. You’ll meander the narrow streets, passing some of the city’s highlights like the Portuguese synagogue, Hermitage Museum, Rembrandt Square and the opera house. You can also discover the interesting history of the Skinny Bridge and Blue Bridge and hear how Amsterdam’s dazzling Canal Ring came to be. Of course, seeing the sights is thirsty work, so along the way you’ll visit a traditional café to taste locally brewed beers.

Characterful cities closer to home
Exploring a new city is always a highlight of any holiday and with P&O Cruises you can set sail for a seven-night Northern European City Escape. Marvel at the mighty UNESCO-listed Speicherstadt in Hamburg, take a walk on the hipster side of trendy Rotterdam or seek out Flemish eateries in Bruges’ atmospheric medieval lanes.
From Hamburg, visit nearby Lübeck. With winding medieval streets and a skyline graced with spellbinding spires, it’s easy to see why it’s considered one of the most romantic places in Germany.
Lose yourself in the UNESCO-listed old town as you search for a cobblestone square to stop for a local marzipan-infused treat.
From Rotterdam, you can visit nearby Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to 19 original windmills. Dating back to 1740, you’ll have the opportunity to visit one of the mill owners and explore the interior of a working windmill.
From your port of Zeebrugge, take a trip to the Flemish city of Ghent, where your guide will take you on a walking tour of the medieval old town. Feel like you’ve stepped back in time as you wander along narrow cobbled streets past gabled houses, gothic cathedrals and the iconic Belfry Tower.
The words ‘Belgian’ and ‘chocolate’ go together like ‘sweet’ and ‘tooth’. On a trip to beautiful Bruges, from Zeebrugge, you can make your very own delicious Belgian chocolate. Get hands on as you learn from a local professional how to make sweet treats for the folks back home (if you don’t eat them first!).
Experience Hamburg’s highlights on a panoramic tour. You’ll take in sights like the majestic Town Hall, the redbricked Speicherstadt (the world’s largest warehouse district), the Jungfernstieg (a luxury shopping area) and the worldfamous Reeperbahn –an area nicknamed as ‘the mile of sin’ due to its associations with the red light district.
With an overnight stay in Rotterdam on selected cruises, you’ve got plenty of time to explore. You can marvel at the seemingly gravity-defying Cube Houses (a Rotterdam landmark) and even step into the ‘Show Cube’ to get a feel for life on the edge. Perhaps you’ll choose to taste your way through Markthal, a mural-adorned food hall with global flavours. Or wander Witte de Withstraat with bars, restaurants, cafés and art galleries. You could also take the train to Amsterdam in 40 minutes. Home to many attractions, you might visit the Van Gogh museum, Anne Frank house, Royal Palace, floating flower market… the options are endless! Maybe a walking tour is the best way to get a feel for the landmarks and soak up the city scenery?
Set sail for an eye-opening adventure around our dramatic coastline to take in some of our very best national treasures. See for yourself what makes Britain great as you visit remote islands, hilly highlands, charming coastal towns and many hidden gems dotted along the way.
The wild landscape of the Giant’s Causeway (visited from Belfast) is one of the UK’s greatest natural wonders. But were the world-famous basalt columns created in an ancient volcanic eruption? Or did they play a part in a fight between Irish giant Finn McCool and his Scottish rival across the water?
Liverpool oozes charm and appeal, and with evening stays on selected cruises, you'll have even longer to soak it all up. From the friendly locals and the fervent passion for their famous four sons (and the many Beatles spots you can explore) to the beautiful architecture and waterfront gems… Liverpool has plenty to engage. Why not take it all in on the Laid-back Liverpool tour? You’ll learn about landmarks like the Royal Liver Building, the Georgian-era Town Hall, Walker Art Gallery, Cavern Quarter (where the Beatles famously cut their teeth), Liverpool Cathedral, Penny Lane and Royal Albert Dock – a beautiful location awash with museums, galleries, restaurants, bars and more.

How about a day exploring Glasgow?
From Greenock, you’ll have time to reach the city and explore its charms. You could explore the Kelvingrove Museum, Riverside Transport Museum with a vast collection of vehicles, the Gothic Glasgow Cathedral, or the Necropolis – a Victorian cemetery overlooking the city.
From Holyhead, you can explore spectacular Snowdonia and the Welsh countryside. Sit back and soak up the views as you travel through Anglesey, cross the Menai Strait, reach Caernarfon’s magnificent castle and Snowdonia National Park. Travelling deep into the park, you’ll take the incredible Llanberis Pass that skirts the base of the mountain.
Though not far from mainland Scotland you’ll feel worlds away in the thousandyear-old Norse town of Kirkwall, Orkney’s capital. You can explore castles, Viking carvings and cobbled wynds (narrow lanes). Inland from staggering cliffs and thriving seal colonies, you can try a wee dram of local whisky and feast on fresh seafood.
How about exploring the most northerly town in Britain: Lerwick, capital of the Shetland Islands?
With a 5,000 yearold history steeped in legends and myths, the town is full of character. You’ll also visit an ancient castle and museum before the chance to meet Shetland’s most famous residents, the Shetland ponies.

At P&O Cruises, and with our parent company Carnival Corporation & plc, we’re taking action to reduce our impact on the environment and invest in our communities and people to deliver positive change – not just for today, but for the long term. Our sustainability agenda aligns with elements of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and is built around six key focus areas.
Climate action
We support the adaptation of alternative fuels and are testing new technologies as they become available. We are investing in new low carbon or zero-carbon emission technologies, developing and installing advanced air quality systems and partnering with organisations and stakeholders to support our decarbonisation efforts.
Circular economy
As the world shifts towards a circular economy model where materials flow around a ‘closed loop’ system, we’re shifting how we work with our supply chain partners to reduce waste.
Sustainable tourism
As we travel the world, we have the privilege to explore many cultures and environments. It is our collective responsibility to respect and help them maintain their culture, history and natural resources.
Biodiversity and conservation
Our efforts are focused on taking responsibility to minimise our impact by implementing best practice across our operations, building partnerships with experts, and investing in programmes to support biodiversity and conservation.
Good health and well-being
Our employees are at the heart of our operation, and we’re working on expanding our well-being programmes to support their physical and mental health, encourage social connectivity with family and friends and promote a balanced lifestyle.
Diversity, equity and inclusion
Our success depends on the diversity, talent and dedication of our global employee base. We strive to provide an inclusive and supportive work environment with equal opportunities for professional growth throughout their career path.
Further information At P&O Cruises, and with our parent company Carnival Corporation & plc, we have established a number of 2030 sustainability goals and 2050 aspirations.
