2 AN EVENING WITH BRANDON STANTON FORUM

WELCOME TO THE CONNECTICUT FORUM! AN EVENING WITH

BRANDON STANTON Dear Friends,

7:30 PM

Welcome to our 2021-2022 Season Finale! Brandon Stanton created Humans of New York more than 10 years ago with the goal of photographing 10,000 New Yorkers. It quickly blossomed into a platform attracting more than 20 million social media followers world-wide and four bestselling books. Clearly Stanton struck a chord with his photos and profiles of the young and old, New Yorkers and non-New Yorkers, lovers, friends, and strangers. What is it about Humans of New York that makes it so captivating? It’s the life-affirming stories. The compelling images. It’s the slice-of-life snapshots of real people moving through their lives. And it’s a beautiful reminder of all that connects us and why each one of our stories matters. We are eager to hear Stanton’s insights into this work and see some of the photos that have touched so many of us.
