TUESDAY NIGHT HEFFR BRENDAN HANCOX LEADS HOME C GRADE FOR OUTRIGHT WIN 24 October 2017 On a night when the NE weather Gods whipped up a traditional 50kph wind, C grade eluded the back markers to storm home for overall line honours with Brendan Hancox hanging on for the win after a sneaky last lap attack. Hot on his heals were Heffron newcomers Tearloch Carr and Charlie Parr, who along with Aaron Latinovic have all earned themselves a start in B grade next week. Dan Massie completed the top 5 with the age old claim “if you can get 5th at Heffron, you can get 5th anywhere!” The closing laps solo move also benefited Jesse Coyle who finished well in front of a decimated chasing A and B grade field thanks to the strong NE wind which saw only 30 riders finish from 70 starters. Tristan War, Scott Law and Toby Orchard fought out the minor places. James Schneider had his best Tuesday Night Heffron result when he won B grade in front of a fast improving Sam Rutherford while Randwick Botany’s President Dave Jackson got on the imaginary B grade podium. Amy Vesty once again was the Queen of the girls with another solid ride to finish in amongst the front C grade group
