BIOMIMETIC DESIGN The strips of perforated steel resemble the echolocation that bats use to find food and create mental maps. These strips are used by pedestrains to view the bats as they walk across the bridge.

The form of the bridge as a whole was inspired by the bat wing. The bridge encompases a lightweight and minimalistic design. perforated steel bat windows
