Coachella 2015 took place in Indio, CA during the second & third weekend of April. Festivalgoers sported some fresh new trends, along with innovative twists on classic fashions. Many celebrities and music lovers flocked to the Indio Polo Field in order to hear their favorite artists and make a fashion statement of their own. The newest ‘Hollywood brat pack’ consisting of the youngest Jenner girls, Gigi Hagdid, Selena Gomez & other fashion forward favorites were decked out in their boho bests. Some classic trends were seen again, such as the festival favorite flower crowns, now being made in bigger scales and mixed with other plant life such as ivy and milkweed. Girls wore ethnic metals adorned as bold statement necklaces, chain belts and body chains. Aside from the already popular flash tattoo, adhesive jewels/bindis were displayed. Native American style body paint was another popular trend. Some of the newest trends include septum earring chains & nose rings that give a cultural feel to any look. A popular new trend was lightweight paper/silk umbrellas that not only protected attendees from the sun but also made a statement. Bag scarves were also very common in silk and linens which added a pop of color and print. The festival produced some phenomenal music performances and even better style moments this year.
