CSC TO PLAY FIRST NIGHT GAME IN REMODELED STADIUM This Labor Day weekend, the Eagles will compete at home, facing off against the Black Hills State University Yellow Jackets in the only home night game of the season, and the first at Chadron State College’s since the 1970s. According to Con Marshall, the namesake of the stadium press box, the last CSC night game took place Sept. 25, 1976, against Kearney State.

A playoff game between Chadron High School and Adams Central was played in 1977, formerly the last night game played on Elliott Field. With renovations nearing completion and the grand opening set for Sept. 15, the Eagles are prepped to perform under the lights, kicking off at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, at Elliott Field.
