The president of Macedonia will be visiting East York on Saturday. President Gjorge Ivanov is part of an official visit to Canada this month. To celebrate the visit, the Macedonian community of Toronto is hosting a banquet in his honour at St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox

Cathedral. Cultural dancers and music, including traditional Macedonian drum and bagpipe music will welcome the guest of honour. Tickets are $75, however, the event is mostly sold out. The event takes place this Saturday at 7 p.m., St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral, which is at 76 Overlea Blvd.
