Built in 1939 by local doctor Howard Romig, the main building is historic by Anchorage standards (the city was founded in 1915), and was the first architecturally designed home in the city (that’s still barely a thing here!) The West Building was built in 1996, adding seven new rooms for a total of 15 cozy rooms for your enjoyment.

DAGAMBA FIRST SOLO CONCERT IN THE U.S.
Established in 2011 by highly skilled academic cellist Valters Pūce, DAGAMBA was later joined by his childhood friend Antons Trocjuks, who is also a cellist. After a few years of experimenting with different styles of music and instruments, pianist Dainis Tenis came on board to accompany them on their musical venture. Drummer Artūrs Jermaks became a band member in 2016, and in 2020, the youngest addition, double bass player Alise Broka, joined the group.
