"Tambay" by #VILQUINforFAKE is a 16-piece capsule collection of one-of-one upcycled ready-to-wear clothing and customized FAKE merch 01 inspired by silhouette's from the designer's favourite childhood tv show "John en Marsha" starring the late comedian Dolphy and actress Nida Blanca. . Utilizing repurposed ukay-ukay pieces, including deconstructed secondhand barongs dyed naturally, deadstock fabrics like duchess satin and linen, and excess fabrics from previous school projects and his graduation collection “Boloto Ko Bel,” "Tambay" revives and re-invisions traditional Filipino streetwear fashion.
