Compared to last week: Slaughter lambs and feeder lambs had no test, while ewes and bucks were unevenly steady. Slaughter goats were steady and billies, nannies and wethers were steady. Trade activity and buyer demand were moderate to good. The sheep supply consisted of approximately 31 percent slaughter lambs, 0 percent feeder lambs, with the balance being slaughter ewes and bucks. The goat supply consisted of approximately 48 percent slaughter kids,48 percent slaughter nannies/does with the balance being slaughter billies and wethers. Sheep and lambs sold on a per cwt basis and goats sold on a per head basis unless otherwise noted.
