It’s Spirit Week and Homecoming Dress Up Days in the Lower School. Spirit Wear dress code for the week includes:
• TFA t-shirts (uniform, sports team, fine arts, etc.)
• Appropriate bottoms (uniform shorts or pants, jeans, jean shorts, or jean skirts)
• Regular dress code for shoes
Monday, October 16th - Sea-ze the Day
• Anything Sea Related!
• Shark
• Mermaid
• Diver, Jellyfish, etc.
Tuesday, October 17th - Shipwrecked
• Dress in your best wacky-tacky shipwrecked attire
• Mismatched clothes, wild colors, etc.
Wednesday, October 18th - Above Sea Level
• Dress in anything sea-related that you find out of the water
• Boat captain, pirate, lifeguard, beachgoer
Thursday, October 19th - Class Colors
• Octo-So-Cute Threes - Purple
• K-Prep Pearls - White

K-Prep 3’s — 5th grade students will prepare to show school spirit at Friday’s parade by making spirit items such as shakers or paw prints in their classrooms. The parade route will be filled with blue and gold!
The Homecoming Parade is scheduled for Friday, October 20 at 11:30am around Loop Road. Come enjoy the banners, the band, the cheerleaders, and more! The Lower School parking lot will be closed after morning carline to allow the use of that area for parade viewing. As a reminder, all students will be dismissed at 12:15pm on Friday, October 20.
Please join us at the Homecoming football game against Eustis High School (7:00pm kickoff) and the halftime crowning of our new King and Queen. If you plan on attending, admission to the game is free of charge for students and $7.00 for adults.
6th-8th Grade

Monday: Dress up as anything sea related: Sea animals, captain, lifeguard, etc.
• Tuesday: Wear your best wacky tacky shipwrecked clothes
• Wednesday: Rhyme without Reason
Duo day with a twist! Find a buddy or group and make sure you rhyme: Iron Man and a frying pan, kangaroo and guru, parrot and carrot, etc.
• Thursday: Class Colors for the Pep Rally
• 6th Grade: White
• 7th Grade: Blue
• 8th Grade: Gold/Yellow
• Friday: Homecoming shirt and Spirit dress-up day. Students may wear their 2023 Homecoming t-shirt or any TFA shirt along with jeans or TFA uniform bottoms.
The following items are not acceptable:
• Tank tops
• Spaghetti straps, strapless, crop tops
• Torn clothing
• Outfits must be longer than fingertip length when standing
• Full face paint
• Character masks that cover the entire face
• Low cut shirts/blouses
• Tight-fitting outfits
• Any non-uniform clothing not joining in the theme of the day. If a student chooses not to dress up, TFA Spirit Wear with jeans or uniform bottoms is approved
• Any political apparel, accessories, or promotional materials of any type
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 19 SCHEDULE:
Middle and Upper School students only will attend the Pep Rally in the Cramer Family Field House from 2:10pm to 2:45pm.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 20 SCHEDULE:
Homecoming Alternative Schedule/Half day. The Parade will be at 11:30am. School will dismiss at 12:15pm for the day.

9th-12th Grade
Therefore, students who are selected for Homecoming Court will not be eligible for Homecoming Court again until their senior year. This will ensure that more students are recognized and highlighted throughout the year.
On October 11-13, students in grades 9-12 will vote for our Senior Homecoming King & Queen. Results will be announced at the coronation which takes place on Friday, October 20 at halftime during the football game at the Payne Stewart Athletic Complex.
The Homecoming Court participated in a Fashion Show to display various ideas for each of the themed dress-up days. Students are welcome to use one of the ideas displayed, or come up with their own outfit within the theme. If students choose not to dress up, TFA Spirit Wear with jeans or uniform bottoms is approved.

Homecoming will be a dessert-only dance held in Faith Hall at First Orlando on Saturday, October 21, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. We encourage students to enjoy dinner at a restaurant of choice prior to the dance.
Tickets may be purchased online HERE and are $40.00 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased through October 18. Outside guests must complete the “Outside Guest Form”.

2023 Homecoming T-Shirts are available for pre-order September 18th through the 27th. Students in all divisions who order a T-shirt will receive it during Homecoming week. You can order your Homecoming T-Shirt Below!
All Upper School students are invited to participate in hall decorating and painting the parade banners on Sunday, October 15th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the Upper School building.

The Classical School students are invited to join the fun of the Homecoming parade on Friday, October 20, at around Loop Road between the Natalie Thomas Gym Loop and Lower School carline loop. They can enjoy the sound of the TFA band, banners created by our own students, and much more.
