Little Academies: K Prep 3-4
Little Bakers - Come explore the basics of cuisine preparation at school with hands-on experiences that promote imagination and creativity. Through the Little Bakers program, your little chef will build life skills, work socially with others, and be more apt to try new foods he or she created themselves!

Little Lego Builders - Calling all Lego Builders! Come join Mrs. Sharonda for 6 weeks of fun! Each week students will be challenged to design and create structures with legos: houses, restaurants, bridges, and more! Students will gain public speaking skills when sharing about their creations, and improve their teamwork abilities when working with others on challenges

Year-Round: Little Actors - Year-Round Program starting September 6th A theater program focusing on building confidence, boosting communication skills, and fostering creativity Each year, the children perform in a live production that family and friends are invited to attend. The children work together to create the program backdrop, costumes, and of course they are also the star in the show!

Beginning Golf - Lower School Golf combines athletic skill development activities, academic lessons related to sports, and life lessons in perseverance, sportsmanship, and leadership. Our dedicated coaching staff help players advance their skills, knowledge, and passion for golf while they build friendships and life-long memories. All equipment provided. (16 students max.)

Chess Club - Let's get excited about learning chess! Chess club will start with the basics of piece movements, checks, and checkmatesThe class will engage students to think critically, while playing against fellow classmates and the teacher. By the end of six weeks, you can expect to play a full game of chess, regardless of their age or skill level. Breakout rooms enable students to receive custom content matching their skill level.

Junior Royals Media Reporters - Learn what it takes to be a high school Royals Media student journalist, learning the basic photo, video, reporting and editing skills Upper School Media Production students use every day Students will get the chance to use photo and video cameras, their school iPads, and more. Students will report on the LS, MS & US events taking place on campus such as after school sports, clubs and more. Their reporting may even end up in the 2024 Yearbook. All projects will be shared with class participants digitally at the end of the session.

Lower School Choir (Year-Round) - Do you love to sing? Do you want to share your voice with others? If so, join the Lower School Choir and become a part of a musical family! The Lower School Choir is for students who have a passion for singing and learning new songs You will meet one day a week (either Monday after school or Wednesday before school) with Mrs. Savage, the LS Music teacher, and practice your vocal skills and harmony. Sport Discovery - This is a two-part series, especially for our youngest Lower School athletes! Focusing on the exploration of three sports, kids have the opportunity to develop skills with practice, apply what they’ve learned with confidence, have fun with gameplay, discover sports they love!
Session 1 features Flag Football, Floor Hockey, and Soccer. Session 2 will feature Baseball, Basketball, and Lacrosse!

American Red Cross Babysitting - The purpose of this course is to provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care. In order to receive the end of course certification, students must attend all 6 classes. This class does not include CPR. Recommended pairing this class with CPR & First Aid, which will be offered during Session 2. (15 students max.)
