Little Bakers - Come explore the basics of cuisine preparation at school with hands-on experiences that promote imagination and creativity. Through the Little Bakers program, your little chef will build life skills, work socially with others, and be more apt to try new foods he or she created themselves!

Little Rhythm Makers - Join us as we welcome our first Music and Movement class! Music helps children of all ages discover their inner music-makers by playing and exploring sounds and expressing in our bodies those music elements we hear and sing. Little Rhythm makers will allow preschool students to expand their creativity, social skills, sense of self, sense of time and space, and even their intuition!

Year-Round Ballet and Movement *K-Prep 4 Only - We are excited to continue our partnership with Xplosive Dance Academy! Xplosive Dance Academy provides a professional, artistic, and fun learning environment for all ages and levels Your child will learn elements of ballet to help improve their strength, flexibility, range of motion, coordination, and balance. Ballet and Movement class runs from September 26th through April 30th, and will end in a showcase for parents to attend. (Showcase fees will be applied to the spring semester tuition.)

Year-Round: Little Actors - Year-Round Program starting September 6th. A theater program focusing on building confidence, boosting communication skills, and fostering creativity Each year, the children perform in a live production that family and friends are invited to attend The children work together to create the program backdrop, costumes, and of course they are also the star in the show!

Cost: $195 for 9 classes in Session 2 and December (students will be automatically pre-registered for Sessions 3 and 4)

Year-Round: Little Kickers - Year-Round Program starting September 7th a preschool soccer clinic designed for those parents looking for a fun and non-competitive soccer-focused extracurricular activity to add to their little one ’ s schedule. Clinics are delivered in an environment designed to ensure that kids have fun, but also learn skills along the way!

Thursdays, 2:45-3:15pm or 3:20-3:50pm (for students in After School Care)

All About Animals - Are you curious about birds of the air, mammals that roam, reptiles and amphibians that slither and creep, or the mysterious creatures of the deep? Students in this beginner biology class will explore and gain a greater appreciation for God’s creation through story-telling, crafts, themed snacks, and more!

Art Club - Students who would like a little more time to sharpen their art skills and use their creativity can participate in the Art Club after school. Art Club will be held with Mrs. Begley, as she shares her passion for art with those joining her after school. Students will be using a wide variety of mediums to draw, paint, and create beautiful artwork.

Beginning Golf - Lower School Golf combines athletic skill development activities, academic lessons related to sports, and life lessons in perseverance, sportsmanship, and leadership. Our dedicated coaching staff help players advance their skills, knowledge, and passion for golf while they build friendships and life-long memories All equipment provided Beginner Golf is recommended for our younger students, or those who have not taken Golf lessons before.

Ceramics - Session 2: Jars of Clay “Furry Friends” Students will explore hand building, throwing, and glazing techniques to create 3 Furry Friends! They will gain understanding of our walk with the Potter while working with the Clay. They will witness the kiln firing process, relating it to the refining fire of the Holy Spirit.

Chess Club - Let's get excited about learning chess! Chess club will start with the basics of piece movements, checks, and checkmates. The class will engage students to think critically, while playing against fellow classmates and the teacher. By the end of the session, you can expect to play a full game of chess, regardless of their age or skill level Breakout rooms enable students to receive custom content matching their skill level

This session, students in 4th and 5th grade may select either Mondays or Fridays.

D.R.U.M - Drums, Rhythm, Upbeat Music! Let’s feel the beat in this unique music and movement class designed just for Kindergarten and First Grade students! This playful and engaging class will

have your musician feeling the rhythm as they learn through exploration of musical instruments, game play, and a little music theory!

Intermediate Golf - New Intermediate Golf is designed for those who have already taken Golf through The Academies at TFA. Lower School Golf combines athletic skill development activities, academic lessons related to sports, and life lessons in perseverance, sportsmanship, and leadership. Our dedicated coaching staff help players advance their skills, knowledge, and passion for golf while they build friendships and life-long memories. All equipment provided.

Intermediate Golf is recommended for those students who have taken Golf lessons before

Lacrosse - Join us to learn the fastest game on two feet! We will cover all lacrosse fundamentals and play mini games! All experience levels are welcome and no equipment is needed. Includes a Royals Lacrosse t-shirt.

Lego Coding - Students will grow their problem-solving abilities, creativity, and project management skills through participation in this engaging class. In this leveled program, students will be able to develop their skill set in principles of programming, including algorithms and logic, no matter what their knowledge base is. Students will also write and test their own codes.

Lower School Choir (Year-Round) - Registration open during 1st and 3rd Sessions due to performance schedules

Master Artists - Don't let the name fool you; this class is for artists of all skill levels! Each week we'll take a look at a different master artist and create art pieces based on their work. Class will be held in the US art room with Mrs Moseler Session 2 will focus on different artists than Session 1 artists for students who want to continue learning!

Soccer - Our Lower School Soccer League is back! We are excited to continue partnering with other local schools for the fall Practice will be held once per week at TFA on Wednesdays Games will also be once per week, at rotating locations. Games will be mostly on Thursdays after school.

Sport Discovery (Part 2) - Jump in for the second of our two-part series, especially for our youngest Lower School athletes! Focusing on the exploration of three sports, kids have the opportunity to develop skills with practice, apply what they’ve learned with confidence, have fun with gameplay, discover sports they love! Session 2 will feature Baseball, Basketball, and Lacrosse! Students who are registered for Part 1 are already pre-registered for Part 2.

Each session will include individual instruction, group drills, fun games, and team and individual competitions Players will need to wear athletic tennis shoes and bring water and a racket daily All skill levels welcome.

The Academies: Private Lessons (K-Prep 4 through 8th Grade)

Music: Private Lessons - Ace Music Academy is here to help the youth of TFA achieve their musical goals! We offer a broad array of music classes in which we challenge our students to reach their full musical potential Our instructors teach these individual music classes using the teaching methods that best suit the student’s learning style and experience Choose from the following instruments: piano, voice, guitar, violin, trumpet, saxophone, and more!

Cost: $30/30-minute lessons; $60/60-minute lessons

Tennis: Private Lessons - Elite Tennis Academy is now offering private (one-on-one) tennis lessons to TFA Lower School students! Lessons are packaged in various formats. Please see the registration website for options.

Cost: $40/30-minute lessons; $75/60-minute lessons

Middle School Academies: 6th-8th Grade

American Red Cross CPR & First Aid- The American Red Cross CPR & First Aid program is designed to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The classes in this session teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person when minutes matter, and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Students must attend all sessions to obtain their certification.

Recommended pairing this class with American Red Cross Babysitting, which will be offered during Session 3 (15 students max )
