Creative Movement - Creative Xpressions Dance Academy is a Christian-based Dance Academy for children ages 3 and up In this Creative Movement class, each child will have the opportunity to express themselves through a variety of activities and styles of dance. Dance helps children to increase interaction with their peers and learn about personal space. Children will also gain strength, coordination, and balance, while improving their overall well-being.

Little Bakers - Come explore the basics of cuisine preparation at school with hands-on experiences that promote imagination and creativity. Year-Round: Little Actors - A theater program focusing on building confidence, boosting communication skills, and fostering creativity Each year, the children perform in a live production that family and friends are invited to attend. 3D Printing - In this class we will explore 3D printing! Students will learn how to use Tinkercad to create and print full size chess sets. They will start with their theme and create a plan for their chess set, create the pieces in Tinkercad, and then print out their set on our very own TFA 3D printers They will come away with a fun and playable chess set that they designed

Art Club - Students who would like a little more time to sharpen their art skills and use their creativity can participate in the Art Club after school Art Club will be held with Mrs Begley, as she shares her passion for art with those joining her after school. Chess Club - Let's get excited about learning chess! Chess club will start with the basics of piece movements, checks, and checkmates The class will engage students to think critically, while playing against fellow classmates and the teacher. Lego Coding - Whether you are a novice or expert in LEGO Coding, this class is for you. We will have beginner coding using the Essential App and Hub. This will introduce the LEGO Coding system in an easy to understand format Beginners will move through a series of 'builds' that will help them become experts in the LEGO coding system by the end of the six weeks For students who understand and have used the LEGO Coding system in prior classes, you will continue to use the Prime App and larger hub for advanced building opportunities. Both beginners and experts will be encouraged to create and code their own creations as well.

Process Art - Students will explore the world of process art, which is an approach to creating art by focusing on the creative process It encourages students to experiment, explore, and make choices in their artistic expression. Students will ask questions about different art materials, techniques, and how they can use them to create unique works of art that are a form of self-expression and a means of communication. Students will also research and explore multiple perspectives on process art, discovering various artists who have used this approach in their work They will engage in discussions, journaling, and self-assessment to deepen their understanding of their own creative journey

The Royal Rising Stars course will give your students the opportunity to see what it’s like to put on a stage production and to have their light shine bright on stage! They will master stage directions, blocking, and line memorization all while building confidence and having fun. Each class will include theater games, improv exercises and acting techniques. This course will culminate in a Royal Rising Stars Showcase at the end of Session 4

Tech Production - The Tech Production Course provides students with the opportunity to know what it's like to be "behind the scenes " of a live production! After School Acting Clinic - FULL - Come join Mrs. Debby Tapia from Maile Image, Modeling, and Acting School for these one-day classes! The school has been training since 1982! This hands-on, creative class includes work with acting, cold reads, commercials, and auditioning. Your student will quickly build confidence as they participate in the After School Acting clinic!

Gold Standard - The Gold Standard (GS) is for all boys currently in TK-5th grades. Coach Conaway and his team will be teaching some of the most fundamental skills needed to become a champion athlete GS will feature football development but will also provide opportunities for growth in their spiritual lives, academic accountability, speed and agility, listening and reacting, and attention to detail. Attending Gold Standard does not require a commitment to play football. GS is available to any young man that would like to train and improve as an athlete. Boys should wear athletic gear (shirt, shorts, cleats or athletic shoes). Pickup will be at the main gate of the football stadium at 4:15pm

American Red Cross Babysitting - The purpose of this course is to provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care. In order to receive the end of course certification, students must attend all 6 classes. This class does not include CPR Recommended pairing this class with CPR & First Aid, which is also offered during Session 3 (15 students max )

American Red Cross CPR & First Aid- The American Red Cross CPR & First Aid program is designed to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The classes in this session teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person when minutes matter, and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Students must attend all sessions to obtain their certification.
Recommended pairing this class with American Red Cross Babysitting, which is also offered during Session 3 (15 students max )
