with patients able to resume sexual intercourse after about 48 hours. After the three treatments, some patients may return for annual maintenance.

Patients will receive three treatments spaced about six weeks apart. Each procedure takes only a few minutes to perform. The procedure is done in-office (patients feel only a small vibration) and requires no anesthesia or painkiller,

A multisite study was conducted by two leading Urogynecologists who are experts in the field of postmenopausal gynecologic health; and recent results from a trial on postmenopausal women and breast cancer survivors showed positive results and high patient satisfaction. OMEHOW ONE CAN’T HELP BUT FEEL THE love in February, a month that celebrates the idea of caring and affection towards others. That’s why it is with great pleasure that we’re able to (for the third year in a row) celebrate the couples in our community who do more than just make their marriages work… they make their businesses work as well. As someone who works with his spouse myself, I can tell you it’s no easy feat to balance home life and work life, especially with two young children, but there’s no better person to share both my successes and challenges with than my wife. Elsewhere in the issue we are proud to feature two very different members of our community who are both on a mission to help others. Through her work with Miami Bridge, attorney Marlene Quintana is serving the needs of children who are in need of not just basic necessities but also caring and guidance; while middle school student Allie Gould is taking the joy of her own experiences and making sure that other children have a chance to experience the same. We’re happy to announce that voting has once again started for The Florida Villager’s Best of the Best Reader’s Choice Awards. This is a Special Edition that will be coming out in May. There are two ways to cast your vote: either fill out and mail in the vote form on page 33, or vote online at www.thefloridavillager.com/bestof. Don't forget to connect with us via social media. You can find us on Twitter (@FloridaVillager), Facebook (The Florida Villager), and Instagram (@thefloridavillager). You can also find us online at TheFloridaVillager.com. Finally, we’re bringing everyone an incredible variety of calendar events for this short month. From local fun to large shows there’s something for everyone in South Florida this February!

SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE

CAROUSEL

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the Olivier Award for Best Musical, and hailed by critics as one of the first truly modern works of musical theater, Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s “Sunday in the Park with George” has become one of the most acclaimed musicals of our time. Inspired by Georges Seurat’s landmark painting Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, this poignant musical is a masterpiece about a tortured artist and his devoted muse searches for truths about life, love and the cost of creativity. arshtcenter.org

The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Carousel is a powerful ride of hope and tears. With stunning choreography and breathtaking music, Carousel was Rodgers and Hammerstein’s personal favorite of all their musicals, and was dubbed “the best musical of the 20th Century by Time Magazine. From the magical evocation of the carousel in the overture to the majestic and moving strains of the immortal song “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” this giant of the musical stage remains timeless and star bright. actorsplayhouse.org

Capillus laser therapy works through the process of photobiomodulation. Just like plants convert light energy to produce oxygen from carbon dioxide, cells on the scalp convert light energy from lasers into chemical energy to restore normal function in hair follicles. If caught on time, photobiomodulation can reverse the process of hair loss in people with androgenetic alopecia by restoring cellular function at the cellular level of the hair follicle, restoring the hair follicle.

The Med iGu ide™ Technology allows physicians to see the precise location of specially designed delivery tools and catheters enabled with miniature sensors to navigate within the heart. Using a low-powered electromagnetic field, the system enables physicians to see in real-time, a threedimensional (3-D) image of these tools on pre-recorded fluoroscopy (a rapid series of X-ray images). Automatic adjustments are made to the pre-recorded images to compensate for changing heart rhythms, breathing and patient movement. “The longstanding commitment of The Heart Program at Nicklaus Children’s is to minimize the cumulative impact on the children in our care,” said Dr. John Rhodes, medical director of cardiology. “The MediGuide Technology supports us in this effort by reducing exposure to radiation during procedures and enhancing patient safety. It reflects our commitment to investing in the latest technology to ensure the best possible outcomes and safest practices for the children we serve.” The current standard practice for viewing devices in the heart uses continuous, live fluoroscopy, which is a rapid series of X-ray images taken throughout the course of the procedure. Worldwide, physicians perform several billion Dr. Kristine Guleserian of these radiation-based imaging procedures annually and approximately one-third occur in cardiovascular patients. While the benefits of imaging provided by fluoroscopy are important, studies show that the ionizing radiation from repeated exposure to fluoroscopy over time may compromise a person’s immune system, elevate the risk of developing cancer, or present other health hazards. By allowing the physician to track devices on pre-recorded fluoroscopy, MediGuide technology can help avoid additional fluoroscopy throughout the procedure, which in turn significantly reduces radiation exposure. The Heart Program also welcomed world-renowned congenital heart surgeon, Kristine J. Guleserian, MD who will serve as the Director of The Heart Failure and Transplant Program. Dr. Guleserian brings with her a wealth of experience in congenital heart surgery as well as pediatric heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. Prior to joining The Heart Program, she served as Surgical Director of Pediatric Cardiac Transplantation at Children’s Medical Center/University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where she held the post of Surgical Director of the Adult Congenital Heart Surgery Program.

Marlene Quintana: Building A Bridge

BY ANDREA CARNEIRO

MIAMI BRIDGE YOUTH & FAMILY SERVICES BACKGROUND:

The child of immigrants, Marlene Quintana says she was taught at an early age to look beyond her own life and into the community around her, leading her to begin volunteer work in grade school. “My Father always told me, ‘Haz bien y no mires a quien,” says Quintana (it loosely translates to “Do the right thing, even when no one is looking.”). “As I became older, I realized how many needs there were in the community, and felt a responsibility to become actively engaged in service and effectuating change for those who are not blessed with some of the basic things that many of us take for granted.” A chance invitation to a Miami Bridge gala 11 years ago sparked an interest in the organization, leading Quintana, now a Shareholder at GrayRobinson, to begin working with the organization (“ I fell in love with the mission,” she says.”). When her term as President of the Cuban American Bar Association ended, she joined the board and eventually began chairing the annual gala.

ABOUT MIAMI BRIDGE

Miami Bridge Youth & Family Services is the only 24-hour emergency shelter in the county that provides refuge, protection and specialized care to youth in crisis via two shelters (one Downtown and one in Homestead) and various community outreach programs. They provide abused, neglected or abandoned children under the age of 18 with everything from basic needs such as food and clothing to life skills, counseling and opportunities that may not otherwise have. “They also give them things that are absolutely priceless such as love, warmth and hope,” says Quintana. “Most children are only one caring adult away from a different path.” Unlike other organizations, Miami Bridge has, sometimes, just days to form a connection with the children who come through their doors, making all the more necessary to create an inviting home.”The average length of stay for our children is about 19 days. We have just days, not months or years, to make a difference in the life of a child,” she says. “That’s why it is so important to make them feel safe and loved and create a positive environment, so that they want to stay. We have to make immediate connections with them.”

LOOKING AHEAD

In addition to the two shelters, Miami Bridge has what Quintana calls an “incredibly active” truancy program that goes out into the Miami community as well as a “First Stop for Families” to focus on prevention. Right now the organization is looking at ways to keep children who are 17+ for an extended period of time as well as a long term goal of creating transitional housing for kids who age out of foster care and are enrolled in a school--whether high school, college or vocational. “Most people don’t understand that even though we desperately want to, we simply cannot keep a child after they turn 18,“ says Quintana. “At 18, when they age out of the Bridge foster care, most of these children are still in high school. If they don’t have a place to live, how does an 18 year old finish high school and support themselves? It is a hugely unmet need in our community, and we intend to do something about it.”

COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Miami Bridge’s annual gala takes place March 18 and, says Quintana, strays from the traditional model of speeches and sit-down dinners. “It's’ an interactive and unique evening with lavish food stations, cocktails and entertainment stations,” she says. “We just allow people to mingle and have a good time with old and new friends, while supporting a great cause. Once people understand what we do, it is hard to stay away.” Aside from the gala community members can make tax-deductible donations or volunteer their time as a mentor to the children who find themselves in one their programs. Says Quintana, “If you love music, come spend some time sharing that love with our children. If you are an artist, come do projects with them. Come cook meals with our children. Come play a game of kickball or a board game with them. The possibilities for giving are endless.”

For more information on Miami Bridge and their upcoming gala visit miamibridge.org.

Miami Bridge enriches my life and my soul every single day. The board, the management team, the staff, the volunteers, the children…the work they do, the kindness I see in others, the energy and dedication, and of course, the stories. I could never enumerate the emotional gifts that being a part of Miami Bridge has given to me.” 16

Dr. Luis Roca, Katie Fitzgerald, Dr. Edward Phillips, Dr. Joyce Miller, Dr. Joseph Venditto

OUNDED IN 1991 BY DR. EDWARD PHILLIPS, South Miami Women’s Health prides itself on its close-knit team of doctors, nurses and staff who come together as one in their commitment to personalized patient care. The team provides full service obstetrical and gynecological treatment. The Mona Lisa Touch and minimally invasive da Vinci robotic surgery are recent additions to services afforded by the group. “As a smaller practice I think we can offer a more personalized experience to our patients,” says Dr. Phillips. Though he and Dr. Joyce Miller no longer see obstetrical patients, Drs. Luis Roca and Joseph Venditto continue the practice’s long-standing history of dedicated obstetric care. “Throughout a patient's’ prenatal care, they have the opportunity to meet with both myself and Dr. Venditto. We take pride in our personal, family approach to care during the pregnancy and at the time of delivery,” says Dr. Roca. “This allows us to get to know our patients and their families on a personal, as well as professional level,” says Dr. Venditto, who also performs robotic and laparoscopic surgeries. “We

take great pride in taking care of women, and their families, through the journey of pregnancy.” Treating patients from adolescence through menopause, Dr. Miller is exposed to a wide array of gynecological issues. She performs in-office procedures such as colposcopies, both diagnostic and operative hysteroscopies and outpatient procedures including laparoscopies. "We provide comprehensive female health care with the attention and compassion our patients deserve. As a woman, I feel a connection with my patients,” she says, “I call my office my sanctuary…my comfort zone. I love what I do." The doctor's love of their chosen profession can have more than just a welcoming effect on their patients, it can inspire them as well. Nurse practitioner, Katie Fitzgerald, who worked at Sylvester Cancer center in Gynecologic Oncology as a nurse practitioner for six years, was a patient of the practice before coming on board nine years ago. Today, she focuses her daily work on adolescents and young women. She works with patients on prevention options, counseling, administering vaccinations and performing well-woman exams. “With

new advancements in gynecologic medicine every day, it's hard to narrow down a particular area that sparks my interest,” she says. “Women's health, as a whole, is advancing daily and I'm so excited to be a part of it.” Every day, the team brings their passion for women's health to their relationships with each other and with their patients. They believe in staying true to the practice's belief that true care means individual care. "I have a strong belief in involving patients in their own healthcare," says Dr. Venditto. "A patient's autonomy, in conjunction with a physician's recommendations, will ultimately result in improved outcomes." Dr. Phillips sums up the sense of dedication and personal fulfillment expressed by the physicians and staff of Miami Women's Health, "I feel so lucky to continue to see the same faces over and over, and sometimes even the faces of the next generation of the same families." South Miami Women's Health is located at 7000 SW 62nd Ave, Suite 350, South Miami, FL 33143. You can reach the office at 305-665-9644. For more information please visit SouthMiamiWomensHealth.com

THE BENEFITS OF CRYOTHERAPY OPTIMAL RESULTS: 2-3 SESSIONS PER WEEK “I abuse my feet. Most mornings I run on concrete sidewalks, and then I run around work in heels (very high heels). The day after running in the last Miami Half Marathon, my legs, feet and hips were seriously aching. I tried cryotherapy and the very next morning, I felt so good, I was able to run pain-free! In fact, as long as I had a weekly session, my plantar fasciitis was gone. But driving far away for cryo was getting old, so I brought cryotherapy down to Pinecrest... And now we can all enjoy the benefits close to home. When you try it, you’ll understand why it’s so popular among not only professional athletes but also with regular people with aches and pains, like me. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.”

DAY IN AND DAY OUT, MEET THE COUPLES WHO SHARE MORE THAN JUST A LAST NAME. BY ANDREA CARNEIRO

RAY AND MARY THOMAS

TNT Roofing Married: 15 Years

“The best part about working together is the additional time we spend with one another and the lunches because let's face it, food is important and you can't beat sharing a meal with someone you love. The most challenging is separating romance from business as well as the ability to accept advice or constructive criticism from one another.” --Ray

“We have learned that we each bring to the table different gifts. I have learned that my husband is really awesome at sales and is extremely passionate about satisfying each and every one of his customers. My husband says that I am a problem solver and always looking for an alternative solution when things gets tough.”--Mary

ANTHONY ACEVEDO AND MIRIAN MONTANO

Visiting Angels Married: 19 Years

“It's difficult, sometimes, having two bosses in the office, so we try to stay in our lanes of expertise, deferring to the ‘most experienced’ on a particular issue. We've found great success and personal happiness in working that way,” -- Anthony

“Working together allows us to make decisions together and spend more time together as well as gives us time to raise our children and attend to them if one of us is occupied with running the business. The most challenging part is trying not to let our personal lives or disagreements influence our work day or important business decisions,” --Mirian

FRANK AND LIEDE DeVALDIVIELSO

Realtors, DeValdivielso Team Married: 27 Years

“Working together allows us a trust in knowing that things are always done right the first time. Sometimes it can be hard to have all our eggs in one basket but we make an effort to turn off the work conversations during personal time,”--Frank

PAUL SILITSKY AND ANDREA LUBELL

Founders and Owners, Innergy Meditation Studio Married: 20 Years “We enjoy sharing in the joy of building our dream project (Miami’s first meditation only studio). Its’s cool to think we created something together that serves the community by reminding them to breathe, chill and be still. Meditation has had a major impact on both of us and it has changed our life in so many ways. We have learned to slow down, and appreciate the little things…. We want to share that gift with others,” -- Paul

“In launching Innergy, we’ve learned when to push each other, and when to back off. How to divide and conquer in a way that plays off each other’s strengths and minimizes the weaknesses. We bring different skill sets to the table so its helpful to get insights and opinions from one another. We’ve learned to curb unsolicited advice, which isn’t always easy when you are sharing the same office or kitchen table,” --Andrea

HOBIE BUPPERT AND CHRISTINA CHRISTINA STAALSTROM

Founders, Preppy Pimp Clothing Married: 16 Years

“Being able to live and work with someone that you love and respect is a wonderful thing. The only challenge is that it can sometimes be difficult to separate work from your personal life. There are times when we have to make a conscious effort not to talk about work…” -- Christina

“In my opinion, Christina and I compliment each other well. I think we both feel the other one is more talented, which is a dynamic that works well for us. While a lot of times I get the credit, I could do none of what I do without her. I may have the ideas, Christina actually makes them happen.” -- Hobie

TIM AND MICHELLE ALEXANDER

Trinity Air Conditioning Married: 19 Years

“We don't typically work side by side, which is probably a good thing. Working together allows us to go to lunch and have discussions on family matters on almost a daily basis. Leaving the office talk out of our home time can be challenging, but we make a conscious effort to do so.” -- Michelle

“Working together can strengthen your marriage bond since you are both working towards a common goal not only personally but also professionally. We've learned that we both can balance our home and work lives better by working together,” ---Tim

TED AND JANICE TATE

Hirni’s Wayside Garden Married: 43 Years

“I can ask Ted to do anything for me and or the business and he will do it as best he can. For example, I can call him and he will come in and deliver last minute a large and heavy arrangement all the way to Aventura... even during rush hours.” -- Janice

“What I learned about Janice while working with her is that she really cares. By that I mean that it is important to her that her customers are happy. She will tell mothers of the bride and wedding cordinators to remember the bride needs to be happy too. She cares about her employees way above the profit factor and does her best to keep everyone happy.” -- Ted

Is Your Dental Office Up To Date With The Latest Technology? BY BRIAN NITZBERG

I

N THE PAST 10 YEARS, DENTISTRY has begun to take shape as a rapidly changing field of the future. Computer technology and improved materials have evolved in leaps and bounds in terms of the quality and speed at which dentistry can be performed. This equates to less time in the chair and happier patients. Screening for oral cancer is very important, but often overlooked. Luckily, we have seen a drastic improvement in technology with the Velscope. This handheld device emits a harmless, bright blue light which is used to inspect the mouth and tongue. Unfortunately, most cases of oral cancer are discovered in late stages, when the five-year survival rate drops to around 50 percent. New research confirms that the risk factors for oral cancer have been expanded to include HPV, in addition to tobacco use, frequent and/or excessive alcohol consumption, a compromised immune system, and past history of cancer. This changing demographic presents an unprecedented call to action for oral cancer awareness and regular screenings. We can also use digital x-ray machines that allow the

images to be viewed instantly, with less radiation to the patient. The pictures are clearer and can be expanded for accurate diagnosis. When a more involved image is required for diagnosing or planning a surgery, we have 3-D CT scans that can assist us in the process. Dental photography is another modality to determine what is best for the patient. Taking photos of the face and teeth from different angles with high resolution cameras allows the dentist to determine how to build the restorations more esthetically and symmetrically. Tiny intraoral cameras allow us to visualize small areas

inside the mouth that we can then show the patient on a TV screen. This improves communication and shows what specifically is going on when the patient is not able to see what is in his or her mouth. One of the most important reasons that dentistry has improved so much in the past few years is because the materials have evolved to be stronger and more esthetic in the mouth. Porcelain restorations and white fillings bond to the teeth and in many cases can strengthen them. New materials can also more closely mimic natural translucent tooth structure. These restorations

last longer and are sometimes as thin as ½ millimeter. In most cases, no one can tell which is a real tooth or a restoration. Another exciting advance in dental technology involves scanning teeth with computers and milling same day restorations while the patient is in the chair. Scanning the teeth with a small tool is much easier than a mouth full of impression material. What once took 2-3 weeks for a lab to fabricate can now be completed during a dental appointment in less than 1 hour using CAD/CAM technology. Think of it as simply 3-D printing a crown or porcelain restoration. Patients love this convenient and predictable new type of dental care. All You Ever Wanted To Know About Cats’ and Dogs’ Vision

ATS AND DOGS VISION COMPONENTS ARE THE ABILITY to perceive light and motion, visual perspective, vision field, visual acuity, color vision and depth perception. If you have looked into this topic, you may have discovered that there is not much literature about it. Perhaps this is because our pets do very well in their ecological niche, making the need to investigate further into cats and dogs visual ability is less of a priority. Yet, there is much curiosity about the topic. With the advances of science, the understanding of our animals’ vision capabilities have improved. Here are the most common question that doctors in veterinary medicine encounter almost daily.

Our Mission To provide the best and latest medical care to every patient by combining Conventional Medical approach with safe and effective Alternative Medicine methods.

Do cats and dogs see like we do? Just like us, our pets have binocular vision. The image they see is the superimposition of the image seen by each individual eye, creating a depth perception. On the other hand, the images they see are blurry. Dogs have a 20/75 vision, and cats a surprising 20/100-200 vision. A reason for this is that our domesticated animals do not rely on a sharp vision to survive. As a point of comparison, natural selection has given wolves excellent visual acuity, since they rely on the sharpness of their vision to hunt and survive. Dogs and cats have sharper sense of smell, taste and hearing than us. And, in addition to their vision this heightened sensorial perception allows them to better investigate their surroundings. Being crepuscular creatures, cats have developed adaptive features on the anatomy of their eyes that allow for a better vision at night, when compared to their dogs and human counterparts.

Can they see colors? Yes, they see colors, however different ranges than us. Dogs have dichromatic vision. They only can see two colors: yellow and blue. This is comparable to humans with red-green color blindness. For dogs, the rest of the primary colors look like dirty yellow tones. They do have the capacity to distinguish closely related shades of grey that are indistinguishable to the human eye. Cats on the other hand, can see yellows, blues, greens and limited tones of red. This will explain why it is difficult to train a dog to distinguish toys by color, or distinguish a red traffic light from a green one, or why dogs are not too impressed with the delicious multicolor food we just purchased for them.

Are dogs and cats able to watch TV? Yes, they can actually watch TV. In the past, with the old TV sets that would only produce only 50 frames/second, dogs could only see photos flashing rapidly. This is because dogs require at least 70 frames/seconds to perceive a moving, flowing image. Nowadays, with the High Definition TVs, which produce a higher amount of frames/second, dogs are able to enjoy TV. There are several YouTube channels, and at least one cable channel, specifically for dogs. Based on anecdotal stories heard by veterinarians everywhere, some dogs LOVE to watch TV, and even have favorite shows. Dogs are more likely to react to an animal on TV when it is a real animal -

Cat and Dog Vision (Cont.) not a cartoon version-, when the movie has been filmed at the eye level of the dog, and when the TV is low at the level of the dog. Cats can see well-defined images on TV. And, because cats are attracted to rapidly moving objects against a steady background, watching TV is very attractive to some cats.

Can they experience vision problems? Our cats and dogs, just like us, develop systemic diseases that when left untreated can affect vision. Examples of these are diabetes mellitus, hypertension and cerebrovascular accidents (strokes). Ophthalmic disorders such as cataracts, glaucoma and dry eye are extremely common in dogs and cats, and can be more common within certain purebred lines. It is important to recognize signs of vision deficiency in our cats and dogs, such as hesitance to go up/down stairs, missing a target such as when trying to jump on your bed, lack of recognition of family members (growling) until they are close enough, not realizing when a toy is placed close to them, lack of interest in chasing a moving object, or standing in the same spot longer than usual, among other behaviors. Any of these behaviors will warrant a visit to your pet’s veterinarian to diagnose and manage the vision disorder early. Board certified veterinary ophthalmologists are available to diagnose and treat more complex ophthalmic disorder. And let’s never forget that due to their sharp senses, cat and dogs missing one eye, or that are blind, can have great quality of life as long as they are kept in a protected environment such as a warm and loving home. Dr Marta Sanchez-Emden is the founder of the Animal Health and Rehab Center in South Miami. She has been practicing Veterinary Medicine in Miami for over 20 years. Evolution of Fillers BY JOSE M. SOLER-BAILLO M.D., M.S, BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON, SOUTH MIAMI

T

HE TROPE GOES THAT BEAUTY IS ONLY SKIN DEEP. IT follows, then, that a good remedy should only address the necessary depth. It used to be that people had to embrace aging and accept their untimely wrinkly demise. Now, due to the innovation of dermal fillers, many people have been able to prevent the most visible aging effects. As skin ages, collagen fibers and fat are lost within the skin leading to poor elasticity and a wrinkled appearance. However, it is not necessary to suffer anymore; dermal fillers present a great option to address these concerns. I’ll highlight in particular hyaluronic acid fillers here, though many different fillers can be used including animal-derived collagen or even injections of your own fat tissue taken from another area of your body. Doctors have gotten a bit smarter over the years – thank goodness, right? The battle against drooping has been waged since the early 1900s with injections of paraffin wax into the skin, which eventually evolved into silicone injections. The latter can often lead to a marred area followed by death. Naturally, I advise strongly against considering silicone injections. The rest of the nation’s doctors agree, too, as a ban on silicone injections was placed in 1975. Even though dermal fillers are the nonsurgical option, one should always place their health as paramount to any bargain deal they might find. Using products approved for use in the US with trusted manufacturers helps ensure safety. Thankfully, we have new and improved weaponry at our disposal. Most notably, we have hyaluronic acid fillers, made from the same material present all over our bodies and necessary for natural skin and joint health. It may come as a surprise that starting young with dermal fillers is the way to go. Patients as young as their 20s to 30s begin to experience loss of skin elasticity resulting in a tired appearance. Placing dermal filler in the areas of loss can allow a more graceful aging process. In the sensitive tear trough area, a cosmetically elegant formulation of hyaluronic acid such as Restylane Silk is ideal due to the delicate eye area. In sturdier areas such as the cheek or mouth, patients should opt for a more robust formula like Juvéderm Voluma or Restylane Lyft when they notice hollowness, gauntness, or any drooping. The anti-aging effect and increase of volume can be seen for over 2 years! A plump upper lip dominates the market these days among the millennials and middle-aged alike. Regardless of what’s trending, though, only trust your appearance in the hands of a very experienced injector. He or she should have a very thorough understanding of the anatomy of the face and the 3-D orientation of how the dermal filler used will occupy space and be viewed from all angles. I recommend that a patient just beginning to enhance their lip appearance start with a thinner filler such as Restylane Silk. After this treatment has settled and been well tolerated, I would recommend giving Juvéderm Ultra a try for future injections if they want more volume. So, is it possible for fillers to reverse the aging process? The evolution of fillers has spurned the development of new technology to benefit those suffering with loss of skin elasticity and volume. This approach offers a minimally invasive treatment to patients who want to improve their appearance. Although it does not entirely reverse the aging process, it helps lessen its effects and provides months to years of improvement for those irksome skin-deep concerns. An International, multilingual Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Jose Soler-Baillo brings to South Florida a refreshing, modern approach to Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Soler-Baillo earned his Medical Degree at the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, trained in General Surgery at the Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, and received extensive training in Plastic Surgery in Miami, New York, and Texas. Dr. Soler-Baillo is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. For more information please visit, resultsmd.com or email info@soler-baillo.com.
