Chapter 6 | Biblical Gold Leads to
Ophir, Philippines
Parvaim Ties Ophir and the Garden of Eden 1 Chronicles 29:4 KJV Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses withal:
There are several references to gold in scripture. King Solomon used many tons of gold to build the temple. Sadly, some academics especially will form false narratives demanding for archaeology that the temple existed. However, the story is clear the temple was utterly destroyed and who would think logically that those walls overlaid with gold and refined silver would be left there in tact as a museum. Babylon took all of it. Why do you think Daniel identifies that empire as the head of gold? They had lots of it and much of it was taken from Judaea especially the Temple and Solomon’s Palace. Nothing was left and the second temple was the same as even Messiah prophesied not one stone would be left upon another and it was not. This project embodied billions of dollars of gold. However, the Bible reveals much more about this than identifying it as the gold of Ophir solely. Why? You will find it is providing clues to preserve this knowledge. For instance, later in 2 Chronicles, the author discusses this same gold he just referenced as originating in Ophir which was used to overlay the walls but this time by a different name. 2 Chronicles 3:6-7 KJV Further, he adorned the house (Temple of Solomon) with precious stones; and the gold was gold from Parvaim. He also overlaid the house with gold—the beams, the thresholds and its walls and its doors; and he carved cherubim on the walls. 68
